I thought I’d share this. I like very much what the card says. Now when action follows the card, then it will be perfect. I offer my good wishes and appreciation.

Rejoice to Joy for taking a leap forward, truly living the life of a vessel to spread the dharma. This is a huge inspiration to people like me who are still indulging in attachments and delusion of the samsara world. I am also inspired by Joy’s devotion and faith towards our Guru, His Eminence the 25th Tsem Rinpoche. The least we can do for our Guru in return for his kindness would be by taking and holding the vow well, and continuously transform our mind.
Thank you so much, Rinpoche, for sharing Joy’s message to serve as an inspiration for us.
Humbly, bowing down,
Stella
Being able to devote ourselves fully to serve the Dharma is the best gift to our Guru as well as ourselves. In this modern age, there are lesser people willing to take on vows and walk this path until the end of our lives. In Kechara, the Sangha-to-be and Pastors are inspiring as their devotion and dediation are proven by their actions. With these kind of genuine love for Dharma, many people would follow their footsteps.
I rejoice for you, Joy.
I rejoice for Joy to make a choice in taking the Pastor-Sangha to be vows. It is a huge step forward to making a commitment to one self’s liberation.
Vows are to help us collect positive karma and with a good motivation, merits that will eventually lead us towards Enlightenment. Otherwise, we will continue to live our lives in ignorance not knowing that we are creating more distance to our Enlightenment.
It’s like tying down a person who is addicted to drugs so that the person kicks the addiction. The initial few days would be like a living hell because the body will go in to a severe reaction. But once the body gets over the withdrawal symptoms, more than half the battle is fought. The balance is to make a conscious effort to stay from the drug.
So our guru manifest happiness for us when we take on vows such as Joy’s because his happiness for us, is to indicate that we are on the right path to realising Enlightenment.
Congratulations Joy!
Each of us has our own delusions our hang-ups. Our hangs-ups are self created. We cannot blame others when we have to confront our hang-ups. We cannot runaway from our hang-ups. Whether we are in Dharma or in samsara our delusions and hang-ups are always there. When I am in Dharma with more knowledge I should give myself chances to overcome them, not giving up easily. It will difficult but with my Guru’s and Dharma brothers and sisters care and help I can overcome them. I am glad for Joy.
Best gift to our guru is mind transformation, Rejoice for Joy ! May you continue to benefit others in your spiritual journey.
Congratulations Joy ! Rejoice for you ! May you succeed in your spiritual journey and benefit many !
Oh wow, Joy, I rejoice for your taking on the Pastorship and sangha-to-be vows! How wonderful and beneficial your life would be towards the commitments to our Guru, Buddha, Dharma and Sangha (Kechara). May the Kechara’s growing group of Pastors and Sangha-to be continue to bring and apply Rinpoche’s teaching to many. Thank you Rinpoche for sharing.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful news, Rinpoche. So happy to read of another addition to the sangha family.
To Joy, I would like to wish her : Rejoice on your ordination. I sincerely think this is the best offering. Wish you a meaningful and successful spiritual journey.
The best form of offering is that of transformation and a commitment to dedicate one’s life to a life of Dharma.
In this day and age of degeneration, not many have the courage to take on vows and walk that path, therefore when people like Joy and the many other Pastors and Sanghas-to-be in Kechara, takes this step forward, it inspires many others to want to do so too.
Being ordained is one of the best things we can do for ourselves, our guru and for the growth of Dharma, as we ensure that Dharma is brought to many more. Without the continuance of the Sangha since Buddha’s time, the Dharma would not have been brought to us today. Because there are selfless sangha, the Dharma has been able to be passed down to us till today. It is due to their selflessness.
May Joy be able to become an inspiring, pioneering sangha of Kechara, and fulfill Rinpoche’s good and beneficial wishes for her!
Much prayers,
Carmen
Congrats Joy!
May whatever you have written down be fulfilled withough much obstacles. It is indeed the best gift to Rinpoche, nothing else matter. Thank you for selflessly holding on to vows/commitments for the sake of many beings especially those who do not know Dharma. As I know, upholding a lineage is very very important. I rejoice for you, Joy!
What better gift to offer the Guru and oneself than to commit to live a life in the Dharma. I am very happy for Joy. Joy as much as anyone else deserves to have a life that is purposeful, fulfilling and meritorious.
I for one look forward to Joy evolving into a nun who can help many people as she is capable of with her many talents. May the blessings of the lineage Gurus be upon her and may Joy rise to be counted as one of the most beneficial sanghas of Kechara.
Congratulations, Joy!
