Offerings of Body Speech and Mind to the Guru is very blessed.
By offering statues, it creates tremendous merits especially because the statues is gifted to someone and he/she & his/her family will do their practice in front of the statues.
Rejoice!.
I may not know who these people are but the gifts are so beautiful and it is befitting for one as compassionate as Rinpoche to receive such gifts. The way the gifts are presented shows the effort that is placed on making the offering. As I understood, it is customary to give the best one can offer to one’s Guru and not to mention the Three Jewels. What can be more precious than the gift of dharma received in return.
As I am posting now I am listening to Rinpoche’s talk on Pig’s Roosters and Snakes and the beginning of the talk Rinpoche spoke of the importance of making of offerings of dharma and not just of food, dhana or massage or money or houses. The best offerings is of dharma – our practice! And it is good to be reminded.
Raymond Chu and his wife Ding are active members of Kechara House. They are very active in the Chinese Group activities. I’ve known them for almost a year and a half now and I’ve not heard them complain about anything. Instead they always show support in whatever ways they can for the growth of Dharma. Please read : –

Not only are they supportive of our activities, both husband and wife are always on the look out to help and nurture the new Kechara Friends.
Raymond in particular is very devoted to Setrap. He has very diligently attended almost all Chinese Setrap Prayers on every Tuesday for a year now. He has also been promoting Setrap to his family members and also friends. Often, he brings them along for the prayers as he feels that Setrap will benefit them like how Setrap has benefitted him.
Thank you Raymond for your sincere dedication towards Kechara Organisation!
