Thanking Thierry and Andrew
Everyone getting together to help one of our Kechara Divisions in this case E-division manifest leaves a warm feeling in my heart. Helping eachother with a sincere heart is so needed in this world. I am so glad that Kecharians treat eachother so well.
Bengkooi works very hard. Very honourable person with so much integrity. Andrew and Thierry are ‘new’ but seems like they’ve been with us for a long long long time. Perhaps it’s a continuation from another life….
Wonderful thangka gift from David to Kechara Tsem Ladrang E-division.
Nice!!

Thank you Andrew and Thierry for the fridge and sofa set. I just want to drop a note and say that the fridge is still working very well, and so is the sofa. 🙂
Thierry, I know you are working very hard in Singapore now, but don’t forget to come back to your spiritual home and I look forward to see you to become one of our pastors!
Thierry initially joined the Lam Rim class and we finished the up to the compassion Great Scope before we switched to Shantideva. Thierry was very creative he made certain diagrams that made relating to a dharma topic that much easier. Later he and Lily Ng made the Lam Rim mind map read about it below

Then I saw very little of Andrew. Andrew appeared a lot more during the Grand Setrap Puja. Now both Thierry and Andrew are in the thick of the action in a lot of the critical projects that Rinpoche is executing for the organisation. Always nice to see new passion and commitment to the Dharma. I know both of them will leave a mark in Kechara and will be together with us at KWPC.
PS, I’d like to add that the e-division work and websites isn’t all that they do. The e-division crew – people like Beng Kooi, Jean Ai, Shin, Cynthia etc etc etc all do OTHER things in the Kechara organisation too.
They participate in pujas, assist Rinpoche personally in many other side projects and assignments, play an integral part in animal welfare in Tsem Ladrang, join in events of other departments, attend teachings (and film them, and make them available online for everyone else!), attend liaison meetings to strategise and plan for the oragnisation as a whole, counsel other Dharma friends and new people … the list is endless.
Beng Kooi is also Rinpoche’s personal assistants so she oversees and executes many of Rinpoche’s projects, including correspondences, sending gifts to the hundreds of people who connect to him via the websites, divinations, passing direct messages to and fro students within the organisations etc…
And in between all that, she always, always has time for a chat and a laugh (and a cigarette!). She’s always even-tempered, peaceful, happy and nothing ever, ever ruffles her feathers. This is what it means to really love your job so that you’re happy in it, always, no matter what it throws your way.
They really are mighty!
You know it’s funny because if you look at how much work is accomplished each week with the websites and all of Kechara’s online presence, you would think that there was a whole massive conglomerate of people in the e-division. Actually, it is only a small little group of 8 people. More amazingly, it started out with just TWO people when it was inaugurated about a year ago.
But what they lack in numbers they sure make up for in dedication, hard work, focus and brain power! There may only be 8 of them, but they do the work of about 50. Because the web world is constantly evolving and online for 24-hours, the team also work through the day and night, unceasingly, without rest or selfish pursuits. And they’re able to do this because they do it with so much love and care. It’s not merely a job for them, it’s something that they feel passionately about and it worries or saddens them when teachings and Dharma CANNOT get out to people.
I have seen for myself how hard Beng Kooi (the head of department) works – she’s there, typing away so late into the night that it’s become morning again, the birds are chirping and she’s fallen asleep at her desk, her hands still upon the keyboard.
Next time you click onto the websites, please do say a little prayer in your heart for them and send them your biggest blast of energy and love. They deserve it!
TO the world and beyond! E-division is a strong force in this world now and in the future. Go guys love the work!
It is nice to see so much support from students and friends alike to make the Dharma grow. If I am not mistaken, e-div’s work is on the websites and major online correspondences of the Kechara and Rinpoche’s Website. That is really amazing amount of Dharma being disseminated.
