Benji’s Gift & Card
I first knew of Benji 10 years ago, when I gave a teaching in Penang. I hear from Patsy that he is a regular customer in Kechara Paradise, Penang hehe. He passed these gifts for me to Albert (see below) at the Penang roadshow! Thank you, Benji, for your thoughtful gifts!!
Albert’s thoughtful gifts
As Kechara Paradise 1-Utama outlet manager, Albert knows how to pick gifts well! hehe Albert is a very down-to-earth and hardworking guy. He’s always very friendly with his customers. He treats them like they are his friends hehe….I know that he gets a lot of joy of our helping others. It drives him to go to “work” everyday. Thank you for your gifts, Albert!

Making heartfelt offerings to the Guru, especially our attachments creates the most amount of merits. Being in Ladrang and receiving many offerings from people I know and have never met you can see how much Rinpoche’s advice has helped, has touched people’s hearts all around the world.
The countless messages and cards some extravagant some made by hand with care and simple materials. The motivation behind the offering is the real offering
This phrase HEARTFELT GIFTS FROM STUDENTS to Rinpoche has set me thinking. Rinpoche has himself been giving and helping a lot of students. I think the students would have felt the same way that when Rinpoche gave them gifts from his heart. Rinpoche once told me that the greatest gift that any student can give him is their Transformation and Practice. In actual fact when you think deeper and contemplate. When you change and transform the benefits from this transforming yourself is not for Rinpoche but yourself. Rinpoche is very skilful at the same time showing an example to his students to practice what he is doing but in the end will benefit the students themselves.
Make more offerings to Rinpoche, it can only benefit you. Generosity is the first paramita , paramitas are what the Bodhisattvas seek to perfect.
I like this phrase in the lam rim, once day we will be able to see our body like vegetables, it can be easily given a way in that sense.
