A picture of myself and Choje-la, it was the first time we met each other in Malaysia. 我和确吉拉的合照,那是我们首次在马来西亚相见。

Choje-la, is the official oracle of over 7 great Dharma protectors, who are able to enter him, take full control of his body and speech, and become a vessel of their messages, prophecies, advise and healing for the last 30 years. Choje-la is not an ordinary monk or person but a highly trained monk who has been personally trained by the previous His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and Kyabje Domo Geshe Rinpoche. He has been fully authorized by Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche to be the official Panglung Oracle over 40 years back. These very highly attained eminent Lamas have personally trained up and cleared the passage ways for Choje-la to be able to take full trance of 7 various protectors. Choje-la originally hails from Sera Mey Monastery and now he belongs to Serpom Monastery. I do not have any close relationship or know Choje-la very well up till about 3 years ago, in late October 2011.

A few years ago my Chinese TCM doctor discovered something wrong in my liver and asked me to go for Western medical checkup. It appeared that I had some hardening of my liver, which if left untreated or just the way it is can turn into something more terminal. So that diagnosis came out and I was put on a diet and given special medication for that. During that time, my students contacted Choje-la’s assistants, asking that the next time he takes trance, to please ask the dharma protector if there’s any pujas, or any recourse or what should be done for me.

The next thing I knew, Choje-la got on a plane with his entourage and landed in Malaysia to see me. I had the honor of having him stay in my own home. It was during that time that I have gotten to know Choje-la better, and it turns out that he is a very knowledgeable monk, a very kindly, well-experienced monk who has no agenda, has very strong guru devotion and very pure in his monk vows. I grew to respect, love and admire this monk, and really thought to myself that I am lucky to have him as a friend now, because he’s a really good monk and person. These qualities move me. Pure monks are very beneficial to dharma. He inspires me very much. During many difficult times, he has taken trance at my request in order that I can consult the dharma protector for certain answers that really kept me in the dark and that would have made a huge difference both wrong or right if the right steps were not implemented.

So, Choje-la arrived in Malaysia and took a special trance just for me and during the trance session, the dharma protector was very gracious, loving and extremely kind to me. He sat me down and did healing by placing his hands over my affected area – the liver, and did some rituals on it and some motion of extracting something from it and on top of that, he took some rice and blessed it and asked me to drink it immediately, and also gave me more blessed rice to soak in water to drink for one week daily. He also recommended a series of pujas and some special mantras that I needed to recite myself. I was amazed and grateful. After that was done, Choje-la was able to spend some time here with me, and we got to know each other much better, and if I may say so with respect, I was able to connect with him as a friend although I am not worthy of his friendship because he is such a senior and eminent monk, but I can say that he is a friend now. A while later, he returned back to Taiwan.

The incredible thing was a few months later, I went to Singapore for a check up. To the doctor’s amazement, there was tremendous healing that had happened in my liver. The healing is not forever and if I don’t take care, it could come back. But when I went back at that time, the doctor was amazed that the healing process could be so quick, so clear and so definitive. So that doctor actually asked me what did you do? What happened? So I jokingly told him that I have a Tibetan monk friend who is also a Tibetan doctor herbalist and he did things to help me get well. I had students who came with me witnessed all of these. I am grateful to Choje-la for helping me in a time of need, in a time that I was not well… I deeply appreciate his compassion and kindness over the years since then also, to do divination and to take trance of the dharma protectors for me so that I may ask questions over many important issues. Over the years I have seen the good results, the prophecies, and the answers come out true, one by one no matter how far fetched at first it might seem. Some may find this too mystical for them, but don’t limit the Buddhas and Dharma protectors of what they are able to do because enlightenment operating from the sphere of emptiness is unlimited in capacity and method. Our limited minds or cultural upbringing may make it hard for us to accept something that is perfectly normal in another practice or culture, so don’t knock it before you do complete investigations. You might be missing out. His Holiness Kyabje Zong Rinpoche would consult oracles as well as many other high eminent lamas throughout their lives and received good results. I follow in their beliefs as they introduced me to this. There is much ‘magic’ and mystery from Tibet, but you know what, I saw with my own eyes on my own body the incredible and miraculous results. It’s good enough for me.

Choje-la is an excellent oracle of Sera Monastery as was his father. His father was the famous Panglong Oracle who’s line of oracles are passed on by heredity, meaning father to son. So his father was a very famous oracle, and the very oracle that His Holiness the Dalai Lama consulted in 1959, who gave him the answer that he should leave Tibet… that’s what we were told by many senior monks who witnessed it. So in 1959, when things became tight and difficult, the Dalai Lama was very concerned. Naturally, he consulted his Guru, the previous Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, and Trijang Rinpoche had people go and consult this famed oracle’s father who was a very famous oracle in Tibet at that time due to his extreme accuracy. This famous oracle then took trance of the dharma protector, and did a ‘clearings of the obstacle dance‘ and gave a sword to the Dalai Lama to be held at the head of the party as they escaped from Tibet to India. This sword is witnessed by hundreds who were on the escape party and this sword is now preserved. This sword was carried and incense burn daily in their successful exodus into India.

So the current oracle’s father was a very famous oracle in Tibet, whom had remained in Tibet, and finally passed away there after decades of tireless and beneficial service to many people who came to seek advise, prophecies and messages from the dharma protector without any personal gain. He was most famous for taking trance of Kache Marpo. So this current oracle is also a very high caliber, highly respected and very well known within the Gelugpa world in Tibet, India, Nepal and all over. He has taken trance of the dharma protector, many many times for my benefit and I have received a lot of personal benefit. I am indebted to this oracle, to his work, which was made possible due to his purity, practice and ability to really be a wonderful dharma practitioner, who is a great inspiration during this time. I decided to share to everyone his picture and blog about him because he is someone that I respect very deeply from the depths of my heart and I hope you can meet him one day. More than his amazing oracular abilities is he is simple, gentle, kind, pure in his vows, learned, practiced and strong guru devotion. All the qualities I wish to be one day. The current Panglung Kuten has all the hallmarks of a great practitioner and humble too. It is revealed in this oracle’s previous life, he was a great Geshe of the highest caliber serving the Buddha-dharma and these great protectors also. Thank you very much Choji-la for your inspiration, practice and immense kindness to me. I fold my hands to your spirituality and kindness. I pray to be like you in your practice.

Tsem Rinpoche

A picture of Choje-la’s father, whom was a famous Panglung oracle in Tibet. Thousands from all over Tibet, Mongolia, Nepal, India and Russia would come to seek his oracular abilities. Many of the Tibet’s elite, Government ministers, aristocracy, high monks, abbots, eminent tulkus as well as the ordinary laity would seek his accurate oracular pronouncements. He had benefited so many. His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche would often send attendants to seek his oracular answers. It was this oracle that gave the pronouncement for the Dalai Lama and entourage to leave.

Rinpoche and Choje-la had very close relationship now, because they both are extremely compassionate and they always help others selflessly, Rinpoche will always work day and night to spread Dharma, Rinpoche hardly get enough sleep because there are so many people needed help and so limited time, hence, Rinpoche work very tirelessly everyday.

Same to Choje-la, he is also been travelling around for spreading and teaching the Dharma, Choje-la is quite elderly, but still he never get tired of teaching the Dharma and serve the Dharma, in view of Choje-la’s running around, Tsem Rinpoche has built a house for him in Kechara Forest Retreat so that whenever he is feeling tired, he can come over to stay anytime and rest, then only depart to another place.
read here the house that Rinpoche built for Choje-la, you can see how much thought Rinpoche put in so the house is comfortable to Choje-la and it’s convenient for him to move around in the house. This is Rinpoche, he is always so caring to everyone who walked into his life and he will make sure they are benefited in anyways.

Thank you, Rinpoche and the blog team for sharing the story of how Dorje Shugden healed Tsem Rinpoche through a prestige oracle. It is interesting to know that Dorje Shugden and Tsem Rinpoche have such close relationship that Dorje Shugden would straight away fly to him when Rinpoche needed help.

Dorje Shugden showed off his healing abilities here and we are indeed fortunate to have the chance to meet and practice the sadhana of such a powerful being. This also showed off the power of faith in the almighty protector Shugden. When we have faith and we are sincere in doing Dharma, the protector will clear our obstacles even if we have a serious condition that can be proven to be fatal.

Such cases are not rare and it is well known that Dorje Shugden can perform miracles for those who believed in him. This is due to Dorje Shugden’s close affinity with us which enables him to give us the blessings that we need.

Rinpoche must have a very close relationship with great Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden. How fortunate we are that Rinpoche is still with us till this day. I hope Rinpoche will always be in great, healthy and long life.

It’s great to know that Choje-la was a great geshe in His previous life. He must have made a great wish to serve Buddha dharma in this manner. May all of us can serve Buddha dharma in this manner too.

Scientifically cannot be explain in some circumstances where deadly disease could be cured. Dorje Shugden has shown so many miraculous signs and had helped countless of faithful practitioners as well as non –practitioners regardless of race and faith. We have heard or seen or experience it. Our guru is one example through the help of oracle trance and advice of Chorje-la and the Great Dharma Protector Dorje shugden, Rinpoche has then recovered . When we have faith and trust in our Dharma Protector miracles do happen.
May Rinpoche live long to turn the wheel of dharma to benefit all sentient beings.

Dorje Shugden Taking Trance in Peaceful Form

This video has two parts. The first part was filmed in Gaden Shartse Monastery in Mundgod, Karnataka State, South India, and the second part was filmed in Europe.

In the past, Gaden Monastery was home to a very well-known and extremely powerful oracle by the name of Choyang Duldzin Kuten. He was the official oracle of Gaden Monastery and a layman. He was not learned in the Sutras or Tantras, yet he served the monastery very well in his capacity as an oracle.

He took trance of various powerful Dharma Protectors of the Tibetan Buddhist pantheon, such as Kache Marpo, Namkar Barzin, Dorje Shugden and Setrap. In Dorje Shugden’s case, he took trance of both the peaceful and wrathful forms of Dorje Shugden.

As everyone knows, Dorje Shugden arose when a very high lama by the name of Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen, who lived during the time of H.H. the 5th Dalai Lama, took rebirth as a Dharma Protector in order to fulfill the vow he had made in one of his previous lives. This vow was to become a Protector of the Buddhadharma in general and the path of Lama Tsongkhapa specifically. During his lifetime, Tulku Drakpa Gyaltsen was known as a renowned logician, debater, teacher and Mahasiddha. As a result of holding his vows, he achieved high states of spiritual attainment.

When Dorje Shugden takes trance in a fully trained oracle, he can appear in two distinct forms, allowing others to not only receive his blessings in person but also free themselves from the emotional baggage that exists today.

In his peaceful form, he appears dressed in the clothes of a high lama. Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche has mentioned this clearly. For Dorje Shugden’s peaceful form, the oracle wears the golden hat of Lama Tsongkhapa and the three robes of a fully ordained monk. While in trance, he speaks like a human would to another human. It is only when Dorje Shugden is entering the oracle and when he is leaving that we see a visible change. At all other times in between, he speaks very smoothly and very calmly. He is able to give initiations, perform rituals and prayers, answer questions clairvoyantly and also do purifications.

For Dorje Shugden’s wrathful form, the oracle wears the wrathful regalia of a high level Dharma Protector. He is not able to remain long in this state due to the wrathful nature of this emanation.

In this video, you will see the famous Gaden Shartse oracle Choyang Duldzin Kuten, who was authorised and blessed by Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang and Kyabje Zong Dorje Chang to be the official oracle of Dorje Shugden. Here you can see him taking trance in the Gyelchen Tenkhang, which was built by Kyabje Zong Rinpoche.

There are many lamas, students and disciples seeking audience, blessings and advice from Dorje Shugden in his peaceful form. You’ll see Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche’s personal attendant Kungo Palden-la, Gangchen Rinpoche and Tsem Rinpoche in attendance.

During the 2nd part of the video, you will see Dorje Shugden taking trance. At [23:34], you can see the Protector entering the oracle as he is invoked. At [33:09], you will see him leaving the oracle after giving advice and blessings to all. As he leaves, he makes prayers for everyone to achieve Bodhicitta.

Timestamps of note in the video:

    12.52 – Kyabje Gangchen Rinpoche

    13:01 – Tsem Rinpoche

13:09 – Kungo Palden-la, personal attendant of His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche

    19.49 – Tsem Rinpoche

21.20 – Choyang Dulzin Kuten in Europe, getting ready to take peaceful trance of Dorje Shugden

32:46 – Dorje Shugden doing prayers and dedications for the benefit of those who sought audience. Here, he is about to leave the oracle’s body.

    Dear friends,

Tibet has produced many powerful meditations, rituals and guidelines to help us gain spiritual protection, gain wisdom and higher states of consciousness. In general Tibet has produced many powerful methods for the growth of our spiritual evolution. Dorje Shugden is an angel, a saint, a powerful spiritual protector-warrior who originated 350 years ago when a highly awakened Tibetan Lama fulfilled his vows to become a special being to grant protection, wisdom, material needs, safety when travelling (normal and astral travel) and spiritual awakening. Both the Great 5th Dalai Lama and the current His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama composed short yet effective prayers to invoke upon the power and blessings of this special saint and protector. One can recite either one of the prayers that you feel suits you, anytime or even daily. When you feel a special need for help, you can recite either prayer anytime. When you are feeling down, afraid or just need a blessing, you can recite them. After reciting either invocation, it is good to chant the mantra of Dorje Shugden: Om Benza Wiki Bitana Soha.

You do not have to be a Buddhist or practitioner of any religion to invoke upon the blessings and protection of this special enlightened and awakened angel Dorje Shugden. He helps all without discrimination or bias as he is filled with compassion and love. Divinity has no boundaries, they help all who call upon them.

Enclosed are the prayers in English, Chinese and Tibetan.

May you be safe, protected and blessed.

Divination (‘mo’) Text by Dorje Shugden

This is an important divination (‘mo’) text composed by Dorje Shugden himself. Dorje Shugden took trance of the Choyang Dulzin oracle lama, the senior oracle of Gaden Shartse Monastery, and instantly on the spot composed this text within two hours.

The divination text contains information on how to use dice to do divination for the future and is known to be highly accurate. When practitioners use this text, they will be in direct contact with Dorje Shugden to get answers to questions about the future. It is for those who have good samaya with Dorje Shugden and are free of the eight worldly dharmas to be of benefit to others in divining the future.

A poem inspired by seeing a picture of my teacher, Kyabje Zong Rinpoche…

In the sport of correct views,
all that is correct is just a view,
    without permanence or substance.
As long as we hold onto views,
    our sufferings are gathered
    to be experienced without end.

Without the strong methods of emptiness
    and compassion, bereft of merit,
    we sink deeper without respite.
To arise from this samsara is but
a dreamscape on the deluded mind.
Therefore seek the guru, who confers the yidam,
hold your vows and fixate on liberation
free of new creations. Free of new experiences as
    there are none.

Here are some interesting videos of oracles from the Himalayan region. These oracles take trance of local deities who aid their surrounding communities by healing people of their illnesses and solve their problems. In these videos you can see the deities take trance of their oracles and perform rituals to heal and even physically suck out illnesses from people’s bodies.

His Holiness the 10th Panchen Lama

Tibetans commonly refer to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and His Holiness 10th Panchen Lama as the “sun and moon” of Tibetan Buddhism. They are the center of Tibetan Buddhist civilization, which draws to its sphere of influence millions of non-Tibetan practitioners. The Panchen Lama’s incarnation line began with the 16th abbot of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, Lobsang Chokyi Gyeltsen (1570 – 1662). He was bestowed the title of Panchen Lama by His Holiness the 5th Dalai Lama after being declared as an emanation of Amitabha.

After being given the title, his three previous incarnations were posthumously also bestowed the title, making Lobsang Chokyi Gyeltsen the 4th Panchen Lama. He became a teacher to many Tibetans, Bhutanese and Mongolian religious figures, including His Holiness the 4th and 5th Dalai Lamas, and the 1st Jetsun Dampa of Mongolia. A prolific author, Chokyi Gyeltsen is credited with over a hundred compositions, including a number of commentaries and ritual texts that remain central in the Gelukpa tradition today. Along with his role as a teacher of the Dharma, the Panchen Lamas are usually responsible for the recognition of the rebirths of the Dalai Lamas, and vice versa.

The 10th Panchen Lama, Lobsang Trinley Lhundrub Chokyi Gyeltsen (19 February 1938 – 28 January 1989) continued both the spiritual and political roles of his predecessors. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, his contemporary, was even heard to say and echo the Panchen Lama’s own words that the Dalai Lama would safeguard Tibet from the outside while the Panchen Lama would safeguard Tibet from the inside, as he never left Tibet after the political troubles of 1959. He was truly loved by the Tibetans, all the way until his passing. When he taught, thousands of people would attend, not only from his own Gelug lineage, but masters and practitioners from all traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.

At his sprawling monastery of Tashi Lhunpo, he has a special chapel specifically dedicated to Dorje Shugden, where prayers and rituals are performed on a daily basis. In his great omniscience the Panchen Lama held Dorje Shugden as the principal Dharma protector of the monastery. He also personally propitiated Dorje Shugden among other Dharma protectors, and even wrote extensive prayers and rituals to Dorje Shugden. These rituals and prayers are contained within his ‘sung bum’ or collected works, which are provided here. As such a great lama, with an erudite and clear understanding of the Buddhist scriptures, a teacher to millions in both Tibet and China, from an established incarnation line and an emanation of the Buddha Amitabha, he could not be mistaken about his practice of Dorje Shugden.

His Holiness 10th Panchen Lama is known for his composition of commentaries and practice texts that are still in use by contemporary Buddhist practitioners both in Tibet and across the world. One of these is a powerful ritual composition propitiating the compassionate Dorje Shugden.

Upon the request by Acharya Lobsang Jangchub to compose a shorter version of the prayer (sadhana) for the exhortation of activities of Dorje Shugden, Panchen Lama immediately composed an abbreviate form of Dorje Shugden’s Kangsol. This text is entitled “Manjunatha’s (Tsongkapa) Lineage protector Dorje Shugden and five forms wrathful propitiations and confessional prayers and fulfilment of activities rites” or “Melodious sound of Accomplishment of the Four Activities” for short. Once the prayers were completed, he had signs and strong feelings that Dorje Shugden has been working hard to protect the Buddhadharma in general and the lineage of Lama Tsongkhapa specifically.

Mirroring the abilities of one of his earlier incarnations, Khedrub Je, a disciple of Lama Tsongkhapa and master of both sutra and tantra, the Panchen Lama used his compositional skill and poetic prowess to create a masterful sadhana. Worthy of note is a praise in which the first letter of each verse is a Tibetan vowel. Such compositions are rarely seen, and have historically only been used when propitiating senior Dharma protectors such as Palden Lhamo and Kalarupa.

The Panchen Lama also stated that while composing the Dorje Shugden sadhana (prayers) he was filled with a sense of happiness and bliss. He ends the composition with not only his official title but his ordination name, Tenzin Trinley Jigme Choje Wangchuk, endorsing the validity of his work. He composed the sadhana in his own Tashi Lhunpo monastery while in the Hall of Clear Light and Bliss.

For the first time available, Dorje Shugden and his entourage of 32 asssistants of his mandala.

Dorje Shugden is a powerful protector deity who is also an emanation of Manjushri, a wisdom bestowing Buddha. Therefore, he has great ability to help us to progress further on the spiritual path. He does this by helping us to overcome obstacles and problems for the modern individual.

Due to his enlightened nature, Dorje Shugden is able to manifest 32 deities and within the same abode resides Setrap and Kache Marpo:-

    1. 5 Dorje Shugden families or emanations. They consists of the following:-

    – Dulzin Dorje Shugden, which performs activities to eliminate inner and outer obstacles.
    – Shize, which performs activities to pacify all illnesses and disease.
    – Gyenze, which performs activities to increase all desirable material and spiritual wealth.
    – Wangze, which performs activities to control difficult people and circumstances.
    – Trakze, which performs activities to wrathfully eliminate all insurmountable obstacles and life-threatening situations.

    2. 9 Mothers. They represent protection of the five senses and developing control of the four elements. These are all attributes that signify their ability to assist tantric practitioners with their higher meditations.

    3. 8 Guiding Monks. They represent the Eight Great Bodhisattvas (Avalokitesvara, Manjushri, Vajrapani, Samantabhadra, Maitreya, Kshitigarbha, Akashagarbha, Sarva-nivarana-viskambini) and they bring about the growth of the Dharma, through the Sangha, Dharma practitioners and Dharma establishments.

    4. 10 Youthful & Wrathful Attendants. They represent the ten wrathful attendants to avert inner and outer obstacles. They are beings who are from Mongolia, China, Kashmir, India, Bengali, etc.

    5. Setrap. He is a senior Dharma Protector from India and an emanation of Amitabha Buddha. He had enthroned Dorje Shugden as an authentic Dharma Protector. Therefore, he also resides within the same mandala of Dorje Shugden.

    6. Kache Marpo. He is not an emanation of Dorje Shugden but he is still an enlightened Dharma Protector in his own right. He was originally known as Tsiu Marpo of Samye Monastery. However, he has placed himself under the service of Dorje Shugden as his chief minister, performing many activities in order to protect and benefit practitioners. Therefore, he stands guard at the main entrance of Dorje Shugden’s mandala. He often takes trance of qualified mediums to speak.

    7. Namkar Barzin. He is the reincarnation of an old Mongolian monk and when he passed away in Phari area of Tibet, his spirit was placed as a powerful assistant of Dorje Shugden. He guards and protects buildings and great institutions especially those that benefit others. He rides on a mythical Gyaling animal that resembles a goat but with scales.

These sacred images are available on *Vajrasecrets. They are made of high quality alloy and are one of a kind. They are based on the lineage of His Holiness Panchen Rinpoche’s monastery, Tashilhunpo in Shigatse, Tibet. In fact, the iconography of these statues are based on detailed photographs taken by H. E. Tsem Rinpoche during a trip to Tashilhunpo’s protector chapel. These are based exactly as the 10th Panchen Lama’s personal collection.

    A poem by Tsem Rinpoche

  19. Valentina Suhendra on Jul 26, 2018 at 7:25 am

I was walking past a second hand shop on Western Ave selling old things. They had a Japanese-style clay Buddha which was beige in colour on the floor, holding the door open. I thought the shopkeeper would collect a lot of negative karma without knowing if he kept such a holy item on the floor as a doorstop. So I went in to talk to him, but he didn’t look like he wanted to talk or that he even cared. So I asked him the price and he said US$5. I purchased it so he did not collect more negative karma. I was 17 years old and that was in 1982.

I escorted my new Buddha home and washed it lightly and wiped it. I placed it on my altar and was happy with the Buddha. I would do my meditations, prayers, sadhanas, mantras and prostrations in front of this shrine daily. When I left for India in 1987, I could not bring this Buddha along and gave it to a friend. It was a nice size and I made offerings to this Buddha for many years in Los Angeles. In front of the Buddha I placed His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s photo. I remember I was so relieved that the price was affordable. But US$5 that time was still expensive for me but worth it I thought. But I was happy to have brought the Buddha home. Tsem Rinpoche

With the advancement of technology, people become more and more skeptical with the limitation form based on the knowledge and experience we have. Our mind is limited and it is further narrowed down by the culture we are born in. People are more keen to see it or experience it before believing in mystical phenomena which is part of us that we have disconnected due to deforestation, pollution, mass farming, technology advancement and etc. There are people who continue to deny even when they experience it themselves because mystical phenomena is not part of their culture.

Holding onto such limitation stopped us from experiencing mystical and paranormal phenomena which are part of our life. The Buddha has clearly stated there are 6 realms of our existence, including gods, asura, and ghost. These beings exist with us simultaneously in different dimensions and could be crossed over depending on our karma connection.

Dorje Shugden has shown so many miraculous signs and given many levels of protection to many of us which we see and experience first hand. He has proven to be swift and very accurate in every advice he has given as long as we do as advised all the way. He has healed many cancer patients that the medical field recorded as miracle cases that would otherwise have been a fatal one. Our mind is limited, but we shouldn’t use it to limit the unlimited potentials and qualities of the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Protectors we can hardly comprehend. Trust our lama who trusted his lamas and all the lineage masters who have been successful in their spiritual growth and beneficial works through the reliance of Dharma protectors for centuries.

Some things do not need to be tested out because they have already been proven by all these erudite masters for as long as the lineage exist.

For longest time, people who have been misled have wrongly accused Dorje Shugden practitioners and have hated blindly without understanding the real issue. Therefore it is very refreshing to see this comment by Suzy in Rinpoche’s YouTube channel [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vl-4lIwxph4&t=11s] in which she eloquently expressed how her mind shifted about Dorje Shugden after learning more about the Protector.

These are but some of the stories on the reliance on Dorje Shugden by Tsem Rinpoche, practitioners and other high lamas. Dorje Shugden will always be very close and assist the Lamas who spread the dharma.

We are so grateful to Dorje Shugden for bringing the oracle to Malaysia to help Rinpoche with his liver problem. Rinpoche’s liver hardening was a well documented case, and there are much evidence to support how this case progressed. The doctors in Singapore were baffled by the almost 190 degrees reversal of the liver hardening.

  29. Pavara Lam on Nov 27, 2016 at 10:50 pm

The miraculous healing of Rinpoche’s liver has proven that Dorje Shugden can’t cause any harm and will only benefit for the sake of all sentient beings.
A evil spirit would not have been able to perform such a miraculous feat, a feat that can’t happen by coincidence, but can only happen through the worshipping of enlightened beings and not evil spirits.

The speedy recovery of Rinpoche’s liver shows the power of Dorje Shugden, due to Dorje Shugden I believe that Rinpoche’s life will be lengthened for the sake of all sentient beings.

May Rinpoche live long to turn the wheel of dharma to benefit all sentient beings. _/\_

  30. Echeah on Nov 21, 2016 at 12:51 am

Rinpoche and all the attained high Lamas are too humble. They consult dharma protectors through oracles or throw divination dices not because they need to but for the sake of the students. We the students need to witness it. Our minds are so limited, skeptical and lacking in faith that we often need to see signs or 3rd party confirmation and double confirmation before we are convinced of anything.

They sometimes manifest illness and they can also heal themselves, but which direction they take is tied to the students’ karma and merits.

They are also humble towards each other and often reverse roles with each other as student or teacher. Good example is Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen and the 5th Dalai Lama. Both are already highly attained, but they gave each other teachings and initiations.

It’s fascinating to see how Buddhas and bodhisattvas work, always with no other motivation than for the benefit of others.

Thank you Dorje Shugden and Choje-la for healing Rinpoche so he can continue to teach dharma and benefit more people. We are so blessed and fortunate to have high attained lamas to be here in Malaysia to guide us. Truly appreciate Choje-la effort and his compassion.

We are forever indebted to Choji-la for flying into Malaysia and healing Rinpoche. It was incredible for the healing process to be so quick, so clear and so definitive. I pray that Rinpoche will stay in good health and turn the wheel of Dharma for us (me) who has no clue what we are doing, always wasting time and indulge in our self-grasping mind. May Rinpoche’s teaching pervade the 10 directions and benefit all sentient beings.

It was indeed a great display of compassion for Lama Choje-la and his entourage to come all the way to Malaysia to heal our Rinpoche. All students, followers, practitioners and friends of Rinpoche and Kechara indeed feel extremely indebted to Choje-la for healing Rinpoche, so that He may live long, to contimue teaching and spreading the Dharma to benefit more sentient beings, and in leading them out of sufferings! All members of Kechara, its followers, participants and friends do indeed feel gratefully indebted to Choje-la for his kindness and inspiration. No, the Panglung Kuten Oracle doesn’t take trance of Methar.

Thank you Dorje Shugden for healing Tsem Rinpoche so miraculously.Thank you for your great compassion. Even the specialist doctor in Singapore whom Rinpoche consulted for his liver condition, was amazed at Rinpoche’s remarkable recovery. Thank you Choje la for coming all the way here to take trance of Dorje Shugden for Him to heal Rinpoche. THank you for your great kindness and compassion too.

The healing of Tsem Rinpoche happened before the very eyes of many students of Rinpoche. The specialist doctor in S’pore was himself so very amazed at the miraculous recovery. Hence, there was no doubt about the healing power of Dorje Shugden, proving, without the shadow of a doubt that He is a Buddha.

Many of Tsem Rinpoche’s students have experienced the power and compassion of Shugden. These stories of miracles and the help that Dorje Shugden has given many people can BE read about at DS.ORG .

Yet, there are some people who continue not to see Dorje Shugden as a Buddha but as a spirit. Not only that, they also keep attacking and hurling insults at Tsem Rinpoche for keeping his samaya with his root Guru and continuing his Shugden practice. This especially coming after the Dalai Lama has said we can practice Dorje Shugden and that the Dalai Lama himself has never been harmed by Shugden. Furthermore, the Dalai Lama himself had composed a beautiful prayer to Shugden earlier on. The mind that had written the prayer “Melody of the Unceasing Vajra” in praise of Shugden, is the same mind as the mind of the Dalai Lama now .
Spirituality and Dharma cannot be mixed with politics and other agenda. Dorje Shugden and Lamas who practice Shugden are entitled to religious freedom . They have a right to practice and to keep their commitment to their root Gurus.THat right should be respected.

Trode Khangsar Chapel in Lhasa, Tibet

Over 400 years ago a great and learned lama Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen was famed in Mongolia, Tibet, Nepal and China for being very saintly and compassionate. He resided in his residence (Zimkhang Gongma Ladrang) in Drepung Monastery. His root guru was H.H. the Omniscient 4th Panchen Lama and his close dharma brother was the 5th Dalai Lama.

The 5th Dalai Lama and Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen had a very close and dharmic relationship and often went to receive teachings together from the 4th Panchen Lama. They were close in age. They both became very learned and well known. During this time, the Dalai Lama was enthroned as a Dharma King of Tibet. But more people went to see Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen for teachings, initiations and divinations. This made the attendants of the 5th Dalai Lama feel threatened that Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen’s fame might usurp the power of the 5th Dalai Lama. So they had a khata forced down his throat. At that moment, Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen dissolved his psychic winds and generated the wish to be a great guardian of Buddha and Tsongkapa’s teachings. As his consciousness dissolved, he entered ‘bardo’ as a dharma protector of the highest order (jikten depey sungma). Many signs were seen throughout Lhasa at this time and the earth was said to have shaken in Lhasa. This event was already predicted to Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen’s previous incarnation when he was one of the 8 main disciples of Lord Tsongkapa the Supreme Master and he served Tsongkapa directly by building Gaden Monastery.

When the 5th Dalai Lama heard what his scheming and power-hungry attendants had done, he was very distressed. He was very sorry Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen was murdered and dishonored as he was a great dharma master. The 5th Dalai Lama composed an apology to Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen. In Lhasa, tens of thousands gathered for the cremation of Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen’s holy body. During the cremation, the 5th Dalai Lama’s apology was read out at which flames spontaneously arose from the body of Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen commencing the cremation. From the body, during cremation, a powerful whirlwind of smoke tunneled into the sky for all to see as this was an indication Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen’s consciousness has arisen as the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden. The Dharma Protector Setrap immediately recognized this new protector Dorje Shugden and ‘enthroned’ him as a powerful Dharma Protector in the realm of the Buddhas. From this, Setrap and Dorje Shugden are closely connected and very close working hand in hand always. After the cremation, the great 5th Dalai Lama built a Dorje Shugden chapel on the spot the cremation took place and named it Trode Khangsar. The 5th Dalai Lama commissioned the statue of Dorje Shugden in this chapel and had monks installed in the chapel to do continuous propitiations to Dorje Shugden. Trode Khangsar Chapel was a commemoration to Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen who was wronged and also a celebration of his consciousness arising as the World Peace Peace Protector Dorje Shugden.

This Trode Khangsar Chapel still exists now in Lhasa where many make pilgrimages there. It is in good condition and was recently renovated. It is over 400 years old and a testimony to the respect the Great 5th Dalai Lama had to Tulku Drakpa Gyeltsen who arose as Dorje Shugden.

I have visited this holy chapel in Lhasa years back. I’ve never heard of it till I was in Lhasa and by chance, I was told about it which I was happy to visit. I could not find the place but strangely a bunch of pilgrims from Amdo told me they would show me how to get there in Lhasa.

This short video is a short clip of this holy Trode Khangsar Chapel in Lhasa today commemorating Dorje Shugden, built by the great 5th Dalai Lama. The great 5th Dalai Lama even composed a prayer to Dorje Shugden which is still available today and we can recite to invoke the blessings, protection, and assistance of World Peace Protector Dorje Shugden.

The 5th Dalai Lama’s Prayer to Dorje Shugden

    HUM
Though unmoving from the sphere of primordial spontaneity,
With wrathful turbulent power, swifter than lightning,
Endowed with heroic courage to judge good and bad,
I invite you with faith, please come to this place!

Robes of a monk, crown adorned with rhinoceros leather hat,
Right hand holds ornate club, left holds a human heart,
Riding various mounts such as nagas and garudas,
Who subdues the mamos of the charnel grounds, praise to you!

Samaya substances, offerings and torma, outer, inner and secret,
Favourite visual offerings and various objects are arranged.
Although, previously, my wishes were a bit dense,
Do not stop your powerful apparitions, I reveal and confess!

Now respectfully praising with body, speech, and mind,
For us, the masters, disciples, benefactors and entourages,
Provide the good and avert the bad!
Bring increase like the waxing moon in spiritual and temporal realms!

    Moreover, swiftly accomplishing all wishes,
According to our prayers, bestow the supreme effortlessly!
And like the jewel that bestows all wishes,
Always protect us with the Three Jewels!

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama composed this prayer to Dorje Shugden. His Holiness has full clairvoyance and knowledge of the nature of the deity he composed the prayer to when he was younger and when he is older as it is the same mind stream. So not logical His Holiness can make a mistake? If he can make mistakes about deities, then the mistakes cannot be limited to time span: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/?p=61029

    INTERESTING DEVELOPEMENT:

We have been informed by our friends in Dharamsala that the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA; the de facto head of Tibetans in Exile in India) that they have seen the vulgarities said in the name of being on the Dalai Lama’s defense. Many who can read English in Dharamsala have been horrified that their campaign against Shugden is leading to such vulgarities and attacks on Shugden followers personal lives. CTA had hoped to intimidate Shugden people to give up through fear and violence in the past, but it has worked against them as they represent Dalai Lama a Nobel peace prize winner. People are asking why Dalai Lama does not speak up against the hatred towards Shugden people? CTA in the past have kept quiet about the attacks on Shugden people both physical and verbal but now IT’S DIRECTLY BEING CONNECTED TO THEM which is bad PR. The more Dalai Lama supporters hurl abuses on line and it’s recorded, the more it will work against CTA.

The CTA visit this blog often to keep a watch. They are embarrassed by people who write such negatives and vulgarities now and engage in name-calling in the name of Buddhism and the Dalai Lama. It reflects terribly on them. They have been getting more negative response from people around the world and more queries. The press has been picking up on these types of verbal abuses hurled at Shugden people and find it justified and alerted to the fact something is seriously wrong. They are starting to question the CTA more which is embarrassing.

We will keep posting these vulgarities hurled at Shugden people online. This is what Shugden people have to tolerate daily. But you will see NO SUCH COMMENTS from Shugden people. I have friends who informed me they will also send this article’s link to press around the world and proper authorities to keep them alert. As violent vulgarities can escalate into violence against innocent Shugden practitioners.

You see the bottom line is all this name hurling and violent words can stop overnight if His Holiness Dalai Lama speaks up to stop it. Dalai Lama should send people to engage in dialogue to settle this matter once and for all. It would benefit everyone all around. This ban and advice against peaceful Shugden practitioners was started by Tibetan leadership. They should do something to stop it as they are responsible for every person they affect with this ban. The Tibetan leadership is responsible for every harm perpetrated or planned against Shugden practitioners both verbal, psychological and physical.

Do see the pictures here of the abuse but be ready for how unpleasant it could be: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/?p=58841

It’s amazing, sometimes when you make a spiritual choice, some people can criticize and segregate you for it. As if your choice must be approved by them. If they don’t approve they have some mandate to tell you that you are wrong and also can be rude for your choice of faith. If you don’t pray to what they pray to, then your ‘god’ is a demon or something. How archaic. LOL. I find that amazing. LOL again. How can you come to my space, face and life and tell me my religion is wrong? I didn’t hurt anyone with my faith and I don’t intend to. Whatever others of my same faith are or are not doing is not me. So don’t bundle me up into the same package. I am me and they are them. Besides, I am more than my religion. There are many aspects of who I am. So don’t just look at my spiritual choice and summarize me. You don’t know me. And you don’t have to know me. Also I owe nothing to you. I don’t need your approval for my spirituality. I would love to be your friend but let’s not let our spiritual choice ever get in the way. Be modern, be today and accept who I am as I don’t hurt anyone. 🙂 So look at all parts of who I am but the bottom line is my spirituality is my choice, do not ever presume to comment, disparage, judge or even think anything about it. I eat what I want. I dress as I like. Live where I want. Befriend who I wish. Write what I like on my social media space and pray to whatever I feel is working for me. Full stop! 🙂 Thanks for letting me live my life as your opinion of it is not needed, requested or solicited and I say this with deepest respects to you.. Humbly, Tsem Rinpoche

    NOTABLE COMMENT FROM TSEM RINPOCHE

For me, I have received teachings from H.H. the Dalai Lama and I still have to respect him as one of my lamas. It might be different for some of you who have not. But my approach must be respectful. Even if I didn’t have teachings from H.H. the Dalai Lama, would still approach him in a respectful manner. The advice against Dorje Shugden practice by His Holiness is hurting many people in fact millions. It’s creating discord, segregation and pain. Everything the Dalai Lama teaches is about compassion, tolerance and reconciliation and the Shugden practitioners deserve that too. I therefore, respectfully prostrating to the ground would ask H.H. the Dalai Lama to please send his ministers to talk to the leaders of the Shugden group and resolve this issue. I say all this with deepest respects. As a part Tibetan, I also wish His Holiness the best. Long live the Dalai lama. Humbly, Tsem Rinpoche

It is really good news that Rinpoches hardened liver is gone.
This is a sign that Dorje Shugden isn’t an evil spirit.
If you are going to say Dorje Shugden is an evil spirit tell me who has healed Rinpoche??
Since you called Dorje Shugden a devil, why is it that a devil can have such powerful healing powers??
Therefore i see it as Dorje Shugden is not a spirit because how could a spirit have the powers to heal and to know that Rinpoche is having problems with his liver.
If not for Dorje Shugden and Choje La, Rinpoche might be in a really critical condition right now.
I am not going to give up the practice of Dorje Shugden now even if people tell me DS is a spirit, as it is impossible for spirits to have such power as that.

Dorje Shugden followers in the millions will not abandon their practice. So it would be good if leaders of the Dorje Shugden practicing community met with the Tibetan leadership to work out something that will be a win-win situation for both sides. His Holiness Dalai Lama wants to meet the Chinese current leaders to resolve the Tibet issue. Why not meet the Shugden followers to resolve this issue too? Why forgive one ‘enemy’ and ignore another?~Tsem Rinpoche (Please read more here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/?p=57431)

Thank you Rinpoche for the sharing. Thank you Choje-la for coming to Malaysia to heal Rinpcohe. Rinpoche always show us by example how to be humble and grateful to others.

The article also teaches us that our limited minds or cultural upbringing may make it hard for us to accept something that is perfectly normal in another practice or culture. Therefore, don’t limit our capacity, we should investigate and open our minds as miracles do happen.

  57. Pastor Han Nee on Jan 17, 2015 at 12:58 pm

“Some may find this too mystical for them, but don’t limit the Buddhas and Dharma protectors of what they are able to do because enlightenment operating from the sphere of emptiness is unlimited in capacity and method. Our limited minds or cultural upbringing may make it hard for us to accept something that is perfectly normal in another practice or culture”.

The miracle of the Dharma Protector healing Rinpoche did happen,as witnessed by many of Rinpoche’s students.

What I find most consistent in Tibetan Buddhism is that be it a carefullly trained oracle, like Choje-la, or a high Lama and teacher, like Tsem Rinpoche, everyone works from a Lineage. Everyone practices Guru Devotion unwaveringly. In this case, Chojila was a student of one of the most eminent Masters of our time, Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche, a Guru to so many great Lamas of the ‘post-Tibet ‘era, who fled Tibet and carried and spread the Lineage teachings of Je Tsongkhapa to all four corners of the world.

Thank you Choje-la for being the oracle for the Protector to heal our Guru. Thank you for inspiring everyone with your great compassionate work as an oracle, your pure holding of your vows and your Guru Devotion.

  58. Carmen K on Jan 17, 2015 at 3:45 am

I was lucky to be able to witness the series of events as described above and can attest to it. It was miraculous and I am forever indebted and grateful to Choje-la and the Dharma Protector for saving my guru’s life. I have full faith in my guru, and therefore will follow and trust the advices, teachings, practises of my guru. The basis of a disciple’s attainments stems from devotion towards the guru. Without the guru, I am nobody, therefore without this miraculous help, I would not have had the last 3 years be filled meaningfully by the pure nectar of my guru’s teachings.

    This paragraph here:

“To the doctor’s amazement, there was tremendous healing that had happened in my liver. The healing is not forever and if I don’t take care, it could come back. But when I went back at that time, the doctor was amazed that the healing process could be so quick, so clear and so definitive.”

..reminds me that everyone is subjected to the laws of karma, nothing stays permanent. For the guru, it is dependant on the collective karma of the students. If there is enough merit and the causes are created for the teacher to stay, teach and continue turning the wheel of Dharma, then that would be the case. The guru stays to benefit others on the biggest scale possible and if the conditions to achieve this is not fulfilled, then there is no reason for gurus to remain to teach.

With that, I do pray and hope that Rinpoche would remain with us for countless years to come, and continue turning the wheel of Dharma, to lead all sentient beings out of suffering.

    Humbly,
    Carmen

Choje Lama’s visit to see Tsem Rinpoche was timely, otherwise our Guru’s condition may fare worse but thank goodness for the Buddhas blessings and the power of the Oracle that Tsem Rinpoche was healed.

As Asian, Oracles fascinates me for they are still known to perform miracles or give accurate prophecies when consulted. May we have the merits to be able to witness the Panglung Oracle take trance of the protectors again, hopefully in Malaysia.

  64. Martin on Jan 16, 2015 at 8:27 am

This link takes you to a video showing Chojela taking trances of a few enlightened deities including Dorje Setrab. It is the opening of Pomra Khangtsen, Sera Monastery in 1992. Watch from 12:45 onwards and see Chojela is his glorious regalia and taking trance of the King Protector. What is really interesting is the high honours given to Chojela due to the the ‘status’ of the deities he takes trance of. By tradition, the ‘rank’ of the oracle is given by the deity(s) that enters him and in Chojela’s case, he is accorded the highest honours and respect.

Witness the position of the throne in front of the main altar and the high lamas, tulkus and geshes approaching the Chojela in trance to make offerings and receive blessings. Also how Chojela in trance blesses the offering with vajra and bell which is indicative of the enlightened nature of the deity taking possession of Chojela.

Thank you Martin for sharing this video.

The event was grand with Choje-la being escorted into the main prayer hall with incense and traditional musical instruments. This is very similar to the invitation for all erudite high lamas in the Tibetan tradition including the Dalai Lama himself!

Similarly, I see many High Lamas grace this event with their presence. To name a few, H.E. Gangchen Rinpoche, H.H. Pabongka Rinpoche who went towards the throne to make offerings and received blessings from Choje-la and protector.

As what Martin wrote, it is custom in Tibetan Buddhism that the rank or status of an oracle-lama is determined by the deity he takes trance of. This video exactly reflects this.

I was fortunate enough to meet Choje-la and dharma protector when he came to Malaysia to heal Rinpoche. It was indeed a rare event and above that, to witness Rinpoche being miraculously healed opened my mind.

  65. Pastor David Lai on Jan 16, 2015 at 2:05 am

Wow! I am electrified to be reading about this on Rinpoche’s blog. I love oracles and I understand how powerful and accurate they can be with their prophecies. It is hard for many modern individuals to believe that oracles are real and that they are really taking trance of actual ascendent beings.

Through the efficacy of certain oracles like the Panglung oracle, I do believe they are real because of my own personal experience and the very fact that I was there when this oracle healed Rinpoche.

As a side note, I am also amazed to find the Tibetan oracle tradition is still very much alive and well unlike many other ancient oracular traditions despite the onslaught of modern scepticism. In Buddhism, superstitious beliefs are not encouraged but authentic oracles are maintained because it is overwhelmingly beneficial and also helps practitioners to develop faith and convictions that higher beings like the enlightened Beings do exist.

Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this news with us. It must have been one of the great moments where Lama Choje and his entourage came to Malaysia just to heal Rinpoche. We are indeed indebted to Lama Choje. This is the compassion in action that came all the way, so that Rinpoche may live long and continue to spread the Dharma. Besides, this article also reminds me of the power of Dharma Protectors and we should relied upon Him with full faith in our spiritual path. Sometimes, we do not know what’s the best for us, hence by surrendering ourselves to them, things might just worked out itself! Let them guide us in our path and do not expect the way it should.

I remember that period clearly. Rinpoche was really unwell and we were so worried. All of us students are truly grateful to Choji-la for speedily coming to the rescue. Personally, I was a skeptic with these kind of healing miracles until I witnessed it with my own eyes when I saw Choji-la, in trance of the great Dharma protector, heal Rinpoche. I still remember I was so astonished and touched at the same time. I have always heard of these miracles and was always “suspicious” of its truth. But eversince that miraculous day in November 2011, all suspicions and doubt were wiped out from my mind.

I had the good fortune of also spending time with Choji-la during that trip to Malaysia. Choji-la is so serene and pure that just having a meal with him was a true blessing. Choji-la is everything Rinpoche has desribed in this article.

On a personal level I am so glad that all my doubts were eradicated because in 2012 I embarked on my career as a TV host for The Paranormal Zone. Having faith in both my Guru Rinpoche as well as our Dharma Protector has brought me strength in my discoveries and exploration of the unseen and paranormal. My mind is strong and clear to execute my role as an investigative host.

Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this article, I am grateful we overcame that period of obstacles. I also recall clearly that Protector said we will all be ok and Kechara will grow to become global, and indeed we have. Om mani pedme hung.

Choje-la also fat in responde, immediately when H.E knew Rinpoche was sick, without hesitation, Choje-la flew to Malaysia. We are thankful to Choje-la. As an oracle whom can took trance of over 7 great Dharma protectors, to me, i think it is rare in this degenerate age. Choje-la must have very clean samaya with His Guru. It was amazing and how fortunate some of us are, I am, to be able to actually witness this event. Choje-la literally just appeared in Malaysia to specifically come to heal Rinpoche. It was like seeing Buddha come to life and speaking and giving us blessings and then so compassionately healed our dear Lama. There was no other reasons for Choje-la to appear in Malaysia, there was no other agenda, this also shows how close and affectionate the Dharma Protector is towards our dear Rinpoche. Kache Marpo compassionately blew holy healing mantras on Rinpoche’s liver. We definitely cannot

Thank you Choje-la and Lord Dharmapala for hearing our prayers. We are forever grateful to His Eminence Choje Lama who took trance of the great Dharma Protector and saving our Lama for us who lack merits.

    Dear Rinpoche,
Thank you for writing and posting this article on the sacred Oracle. And I am totally grateful to the Protector and Choje-la for healing Rinpoche. From what Rinpoche shared, the Panglung oracles are indeed kind and compassionate for without these qualities enlightened dharma protectors will not be able to channel through and be beneficial to others. Oracles are offering their bodies to be of service to the people and never to show off and control the people. It is literally the highly evolved and enlightened beings coming through in a positive trance and the oracle’s mind steps aside for the messages and energy to flow out for the benefit of others. How magnificent. Yes, I completely agree that we shouldn’t let our limitations constrict the presence and gifts from the enlightened beings for mankind.

Thank you again, Rinpoche. I look forward to reading more articles about the dharma protectors.

    With folded hands,
    Wendy

    Dear Rinpoche,

We are truly appreciate to Choje-La travel from Taiwan and take trance of special Protector to heal Rinpoche. Hence Choje-La has been personally trained by the previous His Holiness Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and Kyabje Domo Geshe Rinpoche. He has been fully authorized by Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche to be the official Panglung Oracle over 40 years back. With His clean Guru Samaya He able to take trance of Dharma Protector to help all high Lamas and others.

Its amazing that the current oracle’s father was the famous Panglong Oracle, the oracle that His Holiness the Dalai Lama consulted in 1959, who gave him the answer that he should leave Tibet… that’s what we were told by many senior monks who witnessed it.

With folded hands, thanks to the Dharma protector and Choje-la that cure Rinpoche illness and giving advises always to make Rinpoche Dharma works and projects succeed swiftly.

    Your sincerely,
    Casteven Lim (KH JB)

Thanks Rinpoche for the sharing. It’s really wonderful to know about Choji-la. He looks very humble and yet he is highly attained!

Found a video of Choji-la taking trance, would like to share it here:

Thank You Choje-La for your kindness to fly all the way to Malaysia to take trance of Powerful Dharma Protector to heal our precious Guru so that Rinpoche can continue to be with us turning the Dharma wheel to benefit us and all sentient beings.
Thank You Rinpoche for sharing this experience. I was amazed with the power of Dharma Protector and the kindness of Choje-La. I can not imagine how we can survive in Dharma path without any help from Protector especially in the degenerating time.

  77. Frederick Law on Jan 15, 2015 at 8:58 pm

We are greatly indebted to Choje-la for his kindness to came all the way to Malaysia to heal Rinpoche, such is the kindness of Choje-la and Dharma Protector who took trance of Choje-la and perform rituals in order to heal Rinpoche.

From the photo Choje-la is really a humble and kind monk, but Choje-la deed and actions surpasses all that. Rinpoche sharing here also lets us understand further about the uniqueness of our Dharma Protector whose role which is not limited in protecting the Dharma, but also a great healer who works His Spiritual power to heal those in need, and in this case, we see the kindness and power of Dharma Protector in the form of a great healer.

If not for the advice of Lhasa Panglong Oracle who gave definite advice to His Holiness and entourage of the routes to take while escaping Tibet, we would not have Kechara and practice Lama Tsongkhapa Lineage now, and because of this the proliferation of Vajrayana Buddhism is now spreading across the world, benefiting countless sentient being. We are trully indebted to the previous Panglong Oracle and also for Dharma Protector.

Thank You Rinpoche for another great article of Rinpoche and Rinpoche personal experience. May Rinpoche live long to continue to turn the Dharma wheel.

  78. GraceLeong on Jan 15, 2015 at 8:42 pm

Thank you Rinpoche for sharing the amazing works of the dharma protector and the Panglung oracle. We are truly fortunate that Rinpoche was healed quickly and did not have to suffer from the dire consequences of liver hardening. Rinpoche has done so much to benefit many and there are still lots more projects in the pipeline waiting to benefit many more. With folded hands I pray for Rinpoche to always have great health to continue to teach the Dharma to benefit all beings.

  79. Li Kheng on Jan 15, 2015 at 8:36 pm

Thank you Choje-La for your kindness to heal Rinpoche so that Rinpoche can continue to turn the wheel of Dharma. Choje-La is extremely precious because he is able to teach the Dharma when taking trance. Oracle of other deities are rarely able to take trance of the peaceful form of the deity and give teachings which can go on for a few hours. Wow, imagine receiving the Dharma directly from the Buddha. I learnt that, unlike some oracles who can get their lives shortened because the process of going into trance can be quite tedious on the body, this is not the case with the line of oracles.

It is amazing when highly evolved minds and beings work together and support each other to protect the Dharma, spread the teachings and benefit all sentient beings.

  80. Pastor Jay Jae on Jan 15, 2015 at 8:22 pm

His Eminence the great Panglung Choeje Lama is a great student of the previous Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang. Through Trijang Rinpoche’s blessings and training, we are fortunate to be able to receive the blessings of the current oracle. Without which, we might have exhausted our merits and lost our Lama’s body of form in Samsara. I will never forget the kindness of Choje Lama, and will never forget the kindness of my Lama who had to go through arduous suffering to teach students like me who are low in merit.

The great master of sutra and tantra, His Holiness Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, a Gelug Lama was a strong practitioner of Dorje Shugden. He was also a disciple of the third Trijang Rinpoche, junior tutor of the 14th Dalai Lama. Famous as a sharp analyst and master of philosophical debate, as well as a Tantric practitioner. At a young age , he went to Lhasa studied effortlessly and became renowned as a powerful debater. Living a simple lifestyle with shabby robes, he was well known throughout the three great Gelug monasteries of central Tibet. As a master of philosophical debate who possessed an extraordinary memory and he became renowned for healing activities. He had inspired had many Western disciples throughout the West ,in Tibet and India and gave many empowerments and teachings. Yading, Daocheng County is a county of western Sichuan Province, China. A visit to Daocheng Yading is worth visit. As it has the very beautiful lakes Milk Lake, Pearl Lake and Wuse Lake as well as the three holy mountains named Chenrezig, Jampayang and Chenadorje. It was H E Kyabje Gangchen Rinpoche that first recognised our Guru Kyabje Tsem Rinpoche as a tulku back in 1987. Lama Gangchen Tulku Rinpoche was an important Tibetan Italian lama of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. He was the last generation of lamas from the ‘old Tibet’. At a young age he was recognised as the reincarnation of the lama healer Kachen Sapen. He was a direct disciple of the greatest lamas of the Gelugpa school of the twentieth century, such as Kyabje Trijang Dorje Chang, Kyabje Zong Rinpoche, who taught him Tibetan medicine, healing methods and astrology. He worked tirelessly as a spiritual teacher and healer. He travelled tremendously throughout India, Nepal, Sikkim, Europe and finally settled in Italy. Lama Gangchen has travelled extensively ,providing healing and gave teachings worldwide. He has also led many pilgrimages to some of the most important holy places of different religious and spiritual denominations in the world. He founded numerous centres all over the world. Kyabje Gangchen Rinpoche has worked tirelessly for many decades to promote world peace and had received many awards and recognitions for his work. Lama Gangchen will remain in the hearts of all those who met him as a teacher of great love and profound wisdom.
Years back our Guru Kyabje Tsem Rinpoche did sent students to Kyabje Gangchen Rinpoche ’s centre in Albagnano, Italy with many offerings and updating projects of Kechara as well.

nteresting read of how a common nomad boy became an Oracle Lama. Reading the biography of a selfless Dorje Shugden Oracle Lama again had me understand more. Venerable Choyang Kuten Lama became a renowned oracle, who had contributed greatly in Tibet’s history. Choyang Kuten Lama was a respected oracle for a manifestation of enlightened Dharma Protectors Dorje Shugden, and was told he would be very beneficial to beings in the future. During the Chinese invasion he remained in Tibet although the situation was tense, helping countless people escape safely to India. As the situation worsened in Tibet in 1959 Kuten Lama escaped life not only as an oracle, but also contributing in various ways. Giving the Tibetan community lengthy advice and even Dharma teachings. He also served his countrymen in difficult times in Tibet and in refugee camps in India regardless of the tradition or school of Tibetan Buddhism. He raised funds for monks’ quarters in many monasteries including Gaden, Drepung as well as other Nyingma and Sakya monasteries.

Awesome life’s story and legacy of Ondor Gegeen Zanabazar the first Jebtsundamba Khutuktu of the Gelugpa lineage of Tibetan Buddhism in Mongolia and his profound impact on Mongolian Buddhism. Zanabazar a man of all trades was a prodigious sculptor, painter, architect, poet, costume designer, scholar and linguist .He was a descendant of Chingis Khan, born into a prominent Oirot Mongol family. Considered to be a living reincarnation of one of the important earlier Buddhist leaders in Mongolia. Zanabazar showed signs of advanced intelligence, linguistic abilities, and religious devotion from an early age. He is much revered for his contributions to Buddhist learning and for his reforms of Mongolian Buddhism. He was best known for his intricate and elegant Buddhist sculptures. Viewed as one of Mongolia’s most prominent historical figures, celebrated for propagating Tibetan Buddhism throughout Mongolia to this day.

Due to the Dorje Shugden controversy many practitioners are still oppressed due to their choice of religion. Yet there are complaisant, and obliging people too who barely understand the situation, poorly informed of the issue and behave in a way they knew what’s going on regarding the ban on Dorje Shugden. There are many good bits of wisdom and worthy words in this article. Well-intentioned people make mistakes, lots of them. Mistakes must be expected and being held accountable for. Oppression will still exist no matter how compassionate sharing with others. If we are willing to risk making mistakes we can still do something. We must constantly try to find out ways to use our privilege to push forward the voice of the oppressed. Do not allow ourselves to be immobilized by lack of knowledge.

Inspiring read of Scott Neeson a most influential person in the movie industry, walked away from Hollywood to start a charity. Left everything he had built, been famous, wealthy and living a life of luxury for the sake of those children living in the slump in Cambodia. He decided to leave Hollywood behind and moved to Cambodia and founded Cambodian Children’s Fund . It was on a trip to Phnom Penh, Scott saw hundreds of children and their families living and working on the Steung Meanchey garbage dump, one of the most toxic environments. It was a moment that changed his life, helping thousands of vulnerable children and their families escape a world of forced labour, child trafficking and desperate poverty into safety and independence. From being a self-serving person, to an extremely giving person truly inspiring. Scott has been living in Phnom Penh where his journey still captivates, inspires and bewilders people from all over the world.

Vairochana Shugden, pacifying form of Dorje Shugden is revered by many for his ability to purify one’s negative karma, pacify natural disasters and calamities. And is especially efficacious for overcoming illness and disease as well. Shize or Vairochana Shugden is the emanation of Dorje Shugden who embodies the enlightened activity of pacification. Shize’s practice is very effective in helping us to receive prophecies or develop clairvoyance. Shize’s practice is excellent for calming ourselves down and increasing our merits. His practice results in our minds becoming much happier and being alleviated from depressions. Wow we can also rely on Shize’s practice to overcome serious illnesses. It can also be engaged where the area, there are a lot of natural disasters. On the whole its practice has many benefits. When we do the practice correctly, with good motivation, Shize will bless and guide us.

Interesting article. I never thought meditation can help oneself quit smoking without consumption of medication or drugs. According to an article in The Buddhist Review, not smoking is a result of developing calm and reducing clinging through authentic Dharma practice. Mindfulness-based interventions can help people learn to pay attention to and work with negative feelings, cravings, and other symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. By focusing on our breathing the mind becomes calm and single-pointed. Many are aware of the health risks and addictive properties of nicotine that are harmful. Buddhism is very effective to inspire transformation in people. Good read of how a Yale psychiatrist bringing together neuroscience and Buddhist practices to help people overcome their addictions. Thank you Dr. Judson for the great research work.

Trode-khangsar a 400 year old Dorje Shugden Temple in Lhasa, had me having great memories. Having a privileged to visit it in May 2019,with my Dharma brothers and sisters. It such a Holy Temple with great stories behind it . Located in Lhasa, that is over 300 years old which is dedicated to the controversial protector deity Dorje Shugden. The Temple is a Gelugpa monastery of Tibetan Buddhism, built in the 17th century by the Fifth Dalai Lama. The Great 5th Dalai Lama composed a praise to Dorje Shugden and created a statue to honour and recognize him as a Dharma protector as apology. Trode Khangsar itself is now registered as a national heritage memorial. That’s awesome as more and more people will get to know about this Holy temple. Merely by looking at those fading murals and Holy statutes is a blessing for all who came to visit this Trode-khangsar. A place worth visiting.

The concept of rebirth has a long association with Buddhism. Rebirth in Buddhism refers to the teaching that the actions of a sentient being lead to a new existence after death, in an endless cycle called saṃsāra. One will begins a new life in a new body that may be human, animal or spiritual depending on the moral quality of the previous life’s actions. What they are reborn as depends on their actions in their previous life rather kamma. As a Buddhist we should believe in rebirth but still many people don’t . Buddha taught us that choices of rebirth make a difference and can shape many lifetimes. Buddhists believe that nothing that exists is permanent and everything will ultimately cease to be. There is a belief in rebirth

Against the odds two inspiring nuns fought all the way to become ordained, fighting for their rights to practice Buddhism . Interesting read of how they went through , bringing equality for women in Thailand. Buddhism is the predominant religion in Thailand. Officially, only men can become monks and novices in Thailand under a Buddhist order. The country does not recognize female monks or novices. In recent years, more Thai Buddhist women seeking to become full-fledged female monks, have been defying the tradition getting ordained overseas, in Sri Lanka or India. Buddhist women have been fighting for years for equality and social acceptance in Thailand. They just can’t be ordained by Thai monks. Ven. Dhammananda, 68 year old former university lecturer and activist became Thailand’s first Theravadin bhikkhuni after going the odds. Inspiring read biography on Ven. Dhammananda and Ven. Dr. Lee. They had gone through great hardships, discrimination and against the many odds in bringing equality to women in Buddhism in Thailand.

The unseen things are spiritual realities that are eternal and invisible to our physical eye. There are many forces and phenomena that are not visible to the naked eye. There are many things that humans cannot see yet there are some could see. For what is can be seen is only. Things do exist even we can’t see, believing their existence is our choice. Things that we can’t see in the world opens up a curiosity and exploration by some. Whether through scientific inquiry, or spiritual exploration, the pursuit of knowledge about the unseen can lead to profound insights about ourselves and the universe.
Malacca City is the historic capital of the coastal state of Malacca, in Malaysia serving as a link between east and west for over 500 years. Famous for breath-taking sights with rich heritage, ancient dark culture and history with many old centuries buildings with an interesting past and a colourful ghost story. For that reason alone it is worth visiting as is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site owing to its well-preserved historical center. There’s many historical mansions been passed down generation to generations and with many ghostly sighting by the locals and visitors. There’s the reason many unseen beings loitering and attached to these places. Such an interesting and incredibly creepy watching the video in this blog host by Li Kim. Li Kim had done a great work all along with her team to share with readers about our historic Malacca .

The Unknown

The Known and unknown are both feared,
Known is being comfortable and stagnant,
The unknown may be growth and opportunities,
One shall never know if one fears the unknown more than the known.
Who says the unknown would be worse than the known?
But then again, the unknown is sometimes worse than the known. In the end nothing is known unless we endeavour,
So go pursue all the way with the unknown,
because all unknown with familiarity becomes the known.

What the meat industry figured out is that you don't need healthy animals to make a profit.
Sick animals are more profitable... farms calculate how close to death they can keep animals without killing them. That's the business model. How quickly they can be made to grow, how tightly they can be packed, how much or how little can they eat, how sick they can get without dying... We live in a world in which it's conventional to treat an animal like a block of wood. ~ Jonathan Safran Foer
