What is a Gizmo???
You all have to see this very very very cute video. Then you will know what is a Gizmo and if you think Gizmo is cute or not…. It’s little Gizmo…he sure is having fun and relaxing here in my house.. I took this video today (November 30, 2012)…he stays here now. Gizmo’s owners didn’t want him anymore and was going to put him down!!! So we took him in. He is a good boy and never poos/pees in the house but only outside. He is quiet and active and never complains about food and eats anything you give him. He is a good boy for sure and we love him and will never give him away. He is part of us now. A Kechara dog! One of the family. But who thinks he is super cute?? Let him know here…

The Chair
I have one chair I usually sit on to do my sadhana, watch a program, read, write, research and so on. But many times I return from my bathroom, Oser girl has taken over my chair. She gives me this look like, it’s her chair! She’s a spunky little schnauzer. The room has so much space, other sofas and places of interest, but my Oser has to hijack my chair always. I have to gently move her over and squeeze in next to her like I did last night into the same chair. We sat together for hours and she fell asleep in my chair huddled against me. Love is sharing a chair even though it’s meant for one occupant at a time. ? Tsem Rinpoche

Adorable video of Gizmo who danced to Madonna’s music. It is very kind and compassion of Rinpoche who took in Gizmo who was abandoned by his owners and had no where to go. May Gizmo be infused with Dharma by being part of the Kechara family, hence having strong Dharma seeds planted for his future lives.
Gizmo looks so comfortable in the arms of Seng Piow. Gizmo baby is cute in this video. He looks all sleepy, yet he is grooving to the music! He is well mannered, and very obedient. I am so happy that Gizmo have a great home to be in now, showered with all the love, getting Dharmic imprints as well.

If Gizmo had not met a kecharian he would have been abandoned.
Some of Rinpoche’s dogs are actually adopted because their owner did not want them or just dumped them on the road.
Even if dogs are misbehaving we should not put them down,they are just like us they have feeling to!

Hehehe Gizmo is such a cute, cuddly and a fun to play with dog though he may be old he still loves belly rubs and actions that bring comfort to him. I must say he really does enjoy nature because he just loves to look out at the sky, fishes and he also loves to enjoy the fresh air too! Gizmo always never fails to warm my heart and every time i see pictures of him or meat him in Have my day has been made.
His pictures have never failed to give me a cute attack and i think it would be the same for the rest of the people too!
Dato Ruby, Jean Mei and Jean Ai must have been really lucky to have a very cute and heart warming addiction to their family. It is really a pleasure for me to see, play, cuddle and rub his belly nearly everyday!

Gizmo you are sooooo cute , adorable, super cuddly and a very very good boy !
I had the pleasure of playing with him many times at Kechara Care and at Haven and he’s so well behaved . He’s happy and contented to be where he is and i’m so happy that he’s now well and fine. It makes me sick to hear how badly treated he was by his previous owner but he has the good merits and karma to be a Kechara woofer and is now so well loved.

Gizmo looks cute and relax.Who could allows such a well natured animal to be put to sleep when they got tired of the pet.When we plan to take a pet in ,we must consider the responsibility that goes with it.It is not a toy that we could throw away once we are tired of it.Gizmo was fortunate to find a owner or a true friend who loves him dearly.
Looking at cute Gizmo, i wonder how it would cross someone’s mind to ever thought of putting him down! Gizmo is just one of the dogs lucky enough to escape because he was rescued by Jean Mei. Gizmo is absolutely SUPER DUPER CUTE! He is so happy and contented and loves where He is today… you can through his expression… always smiling, running around with toys, and allowing you to do just about anything to him like the video Rinpoche took of Seng Piow playing with him.
This shows Gizmo baby is super comfortable and relaxed. Can’t imagine anyone would want to put him down. Lucky Ethan caught this news on time to save him… Can’t imagine not having him around any more… he certainly is part of the Ladrang family!

Gizmo is so nice, and it has been many times Rinpoche has rescued animals all over and has shown many solid examples of care and compassion towards animals!
Gizmo is certainly lucky to have met Jean Mei and so got rescued from his terrible fate. His life has certainly turned for the better, what at a nice twist.
For those of us who believe in karma, we will see this as good merits that he has accumulated, although this comes at later stage of his life. But this certainly is much better than ending his life much earlier and missing the chances to live within dharma and to be so close to a highly attained lama.
Gizmo is certainly a very lucky guy!

Gizmo looks so cute and adorable in this video, he is so comfortable and relaxed and dozing off in the arms of Seng Piow.He is so fortunate to be rescued from euthanasia and now in the home fills with love and care for the rest of his life.
In Buddhism, living beings including animals have always being regarded as sentient beings. Who knows, they could once have been our parents, brothers and sisters, or children in their past lives. Therefore, our loving kindness and compassion should be boundless to be extended to all living beings regardless, as in this case of Gizmo. Gizmo has the good karma to have met Rinpoche at this stage of his life to be rescued and released of any further sufferings. May it be blessed with a good rebirth too. Om Manim Padme Hum.
Gizmo is super duper cute, Gizmo must collected some merits that able to meet Rinpoche and Kecharians… May Gizmo can collect more mertis in this life time that make Gizmo able to practice Dharma next life…

He is really lucky to be saved and having a great life now. He is really super quiet and obedient. He enjoyed the dance so much, I think he felt like sleeping… Good massage and good music too…
Gizmo’s face really funny, it’s like whatever you do to him, he will not bother, he is in such relaxing mode.
A dog will be relaxing only when he feel safe, then he will put his guts down, be with you and be relax. An animal may not speak, but they can feel it if we really love them.
Gizmo is so smart and cute. I love the video of him dancing..he was so relaxing on seng piow’s arm. It is wonderful to know that Gizmo now has a good home and he has so much love and care from many people.

Gizmo never disturbed others and very good matured natured dog, sooooo fortunate to have such a good temper dog. May many doggies like Gizmo be saved and human definitely has no right to put down any animal….
Awwww….each time I see Gizmo, I brighten up. Gizmo has the thingy that I really find it hard to resist not to call out to him just to pat and stroke him. He is quiet as a mouse and his presence is hardly felt even though he is there. Great personality. Adorable. Cute, cute Gizmo.
LOL so funny that even as Seng Piow is moving his little cutesy hands around, he’s falling asleep! This is the first time I’ve seen Seng Piow so (willingly!) affectionate with any animal…I guess there’s a first time for everything!

Gizmo is super cute! And also very gentle. We have had meetings and he is around. Very quiet and not disruptive at all… He truly looks relaxed in this video…Seng Piow too looks like he is getting the hang of Madonna and Gizmo!
Gizmo is very cute and has an adorable face. He has merits to be a Kechara dog. He looks very relaxed and cooperative to be guided to dance. Its a “good” life for him in the animal realm. Gets to hear mantra and be around Rinpoche and holy items in his surroundings. Its sad many dogs are put down or abandoned when the owners gets bored and tired looking after them.

I’m glad that Gizmo is saved from a terrible fate. It is truly strange how some people can even consider putting down their pets, especially when they are as cute, healthy and good natured such as Gizmo.
Thankfully he now have a good home and can live the rest of his years well taken care and loved… in the company Dharma brothers and sisters, the mumus as playmates, and circumambulate stupas in the garden.
I hope that people will realize that dogs are not just toys but a living being that needs care and love… buying and later putting down the dog when they are bored or feel the dog is an inconvenient is just plain selfish.
Gizmo is indeed a cute dog. i love him so much! Gizmo is really a one of a kind dog. 😀

Gizmo is super adorable and super cute!!! He looked so comfortably relaxed and sleepy on Seng Piow’s lap! He is such a good nature dog and just go along with Seng Piow and the music. I am glad that he is now part of Kechara family and is near Rinpoche.

Gizmo is super cute. I remember when gizmo first came to Haven, he was more cautious and would not let everyone get too close. Now, he is most affectionate and lets people play and cuddle with him.gizmo has truly changed as he lives in a home filled with kindness, affection and constant care.
From this, i also see what dharma (in the form of kindness and care for this case) can do for a sentient being. This is why Rinpoche teaches us to be kind to all sentient beings. Kindness gives hope which can translate into visible transformation.

haha, yes Gizmo is cute! Although Gizmo is not as active as many puppies, but he is cute because he is gentle. Gizmo is very cool too. He has his own character. To me, when he ‘says’ he doesn’t want something, then he will be very firm and people should just leave him alone. Hahaha, sounds cool but it is very ok for me. I like Gizmo 🙂
Gizmo lays so comfortably in SP’s arms! Gizmo is definitely cute and there is no reason why he should be put down. Every life is precious, including that of animals. We have no right to decide how long they should live. Once we take them in, we are taking full responsible of them. We take care of them, train them etc. They are not toys and they are not meant for our own amusement! Be kind to those who can not speak for themselves, especially those who loyally follow us and love us more than they love themselves!

Gizmo is so adorable!!! He melts my heart.. He’s such a peaceful and trouble free dog. I remember when Ethan and Jean Mei first adopted him, he was just as composed and calm. He is indeed extremely lucky to have met Kechara through Ethan and Jean Mei especially at such an old age. Kudos to them both for showing love and care to gizmo and saving him from being put down. Haha…Gizmo is like, okay whatever Seng Piow is doing is definitely better than my previous owner. Why would someone wants to give up on him? Worst still he’s going to be put down. Fortunate enough he was rescued in time. And now he is part of Kechara family and hope he will live happily with the rest of the gang. Such a lovely dog.

Gizmo is a very obedient and quiet dog. He can be at any place and be quite content, no complaining. One night he came to kwpc office while we were in a 4 hour meeting and Gizmo just was there. no trouble, no noise. Gizmo good boy.

Snau-snau cute!!! What a great video to watch to wrap up the day at Kechara Forest Retreat :). The video is so funny coz it doesn’t look like he cares or knows what’s going on, but Seng Piow sure looks like he’s enjoy himself hahaha it’s a very typical Gizmo expression. Especially when he has one eye closed and one open towards the end of the video lol
He has such good merits to be near Rinpoche, and I’m extremely happy to see him happy and so loved 🙂
On behalf of fatty snau-snau Gizmo, thank you for keeping Gizmo’s welfare in mind. Rinpoche was really thoughtful today when Rinpoche asked David to distract and play with Gizmo while I went off.
May taking care of Gizmo create the causes for Kechara to save more animals from involuntary euthanasia. No animal deserves to die.

Gizmo really is quite an adorable little man! He totally submits himself and just goes with the flow. I guess Gizmo must be feeling completely safe and familiar with Rinpoche and Seng Piow. Dogs can sense their environment and the people around. Interesting that all dogs have quite different and very distinctive characters and Gizmo sure is a cool dude.
It is wonderful to know that Gizmo now has a good home and a big family that is giving him lots of love and care. And being in Rinpoche’s house means he is receiving so many good imprints everyday.
Im not a dog person but if i were to have a dog i wouldnt mind Gizmo. He is a really obedient dog. Always chilling. Im glad he is now with Kechara and Rinpoche. Heard he was abandoned and treated badly previous. Cute Gizmo. We should always treat our pets well!
Gizmo is super cute. He is such a well behaved dog that he is allowed in many Kechara premises and offices, when other dogs arent. And he doesnt need pampers either.
He is also super lucky, to be rescued by Jean Mei after he was too old to be a breeding stud. I heard that he was going to be put down but fortunately, he was adopted before that could happen. And its really nice to see younger people like Jean Mei take on the responsibility of adopting a dog, and everything that comes along with it.
Gizmo is a very gentle and obedient dog. He likes foooood but no he never complains, he eats whatever he gets. I remember when I took him home for few days while his master was away, he never give me any troubles. I’m glad Gizmo has found a new home filled with love and care and i thank the kind hearted Ethan who rescued him.
Gizmo sure is a cute little doggie. He has a character and is very cool. When I get to see him, he is always friendly to everybody. He is always a good friend to those who choose to love and care for him. It is too bad that his previous owner do not see what we see in him. A super cool dog, easy going and not a hassle to have around at all. 🙂

Gizmo is a cute doggie! He is a man trapped in a dog’s body, that’s what I think. In this video, he looks so dazed maybe cause he is so relaxed and at ease at where he is and in the company of Rinpoche. Or maybe Madonna makes him sleep.
Gizmo is soooo relax and cute! He sure is happy in the Ladrang. He is very very lucky to have come in to our Dharma circle family here in Ladrang as he is loved very much. He is so lively and happy here, always running about, relaxing and it’s wonderful that we can can give Gizmo his last few years of his life some good happy times and of course daily being surrounded by Buddhas is a huge blessing! Cos any animals that come near Rinpoche will sure receive tremendous blessing, love and care always 🙂

How some people can hurt such innocent animals goes to show the depravity and degeneration of the mind. Vegetarianism is the way to go! Seeing such cutesy shows of effection surely reaffirms one’s conviction to be vegetarian… Super cute gizmo!!!

Gizmo is definitely cute. Gizmo is so chill, he lets you do anything to him and doesn’t seem to be bothered at all. Such a good natured dog. Definitely no reason for anyone to give him up. Even if the dog is difficult, it’s not a good reason to put them down!
