Applicable Dharma Talks from Around the World
One of His Eminence the 25th Tsem Rinpoche’s most ardent aspirational prayers is “Where there is no Dharma, let there be the Dharma”, which aptly represents the deeds of Rinpoche’s many previous incarnations, known for bringing Buddhism to places where it had not yet flourished. Now, as a modern Buddhist teacher, Rinpoche connects millions around the world to the sacred essence of Dharma through various social media platforms, YouTube and tsemrinpoche.com where all of these teachings, including those in this post, are provided for free.
This post contains video footage and teachings taken during some of Rinpoche’s travels. In Hong Kong, Rinpoche shared teachings with us at the magnificent Lantau Buddha. In the United States, Rinpoche showed us one of his favourite childhood haunts, Turkey Swamp; and revealed nostalgic memories Rinpoche had of the people closest to him after visiting his adoptive parents’ gravesite. In Thailand, Rinpoche led us to many magnificent Buddhist temples and unique floating markets. In Nepal, Rinpoche gave us a tour of famous pilgrimage sites. At home in Malaysia, Rinpoche played host and showed us the temples in various parts of the country while giving us a taste of the local culture, such as joining Rinpoche on a rickshaw ride. It is easy to tell from this precious footage that no matter where Rinpoche went, he always used the opportunity to share his Dharma knowledge, with no other motivation than his innate compassion to benefit others.
We are happy to share this collection of teaching videos with you, and may you be inspired by them.
