House blessings are a great way to purify our environment of negative energies and invite positive energies into our lives.

There are many reasons why need to clear our spaces of negativity and invite prosperous energies into our lives. Pujas are one such extremely powerful method. In life we have many ups and downs and due to these our spaces, environments, homes, offices and premises are full of different types of energies, like a recording machine. So, it is good for us to engage in actions that clear these spaces of any unwanted energies. House blessings are a perfect example of such actions which clear out these unwanted energies. They are based on the power of the enlightened beings, in this case Dorje Shugden, whose sacred prayers, chants, mantras and melodies cleanse the space of negativity and invite energies that we all need and should have in our lives for peace, harmony and prosperity. Hi, my name is Li Kim. I used to host a TV program called The Paranormal Zone. For four years as a host I learned a lot about space and the environment that we live in. When I talk about space and environment, I’m including homes and offices. Why? Because you see, space involves people and people generate thoughts, experiences, emotions, and feelings, and all this has positive and negative. So today, I want to address the remnants of negative energies, thoughts, experiences, feelings and emotions. When left in a space, the space works like a recording machine and it keeps it and it keeps it and it compounds and it compounds which explains sometimes why we go to a place, may it be a home or an office, in the beginning, everything feels good. But suddenly with time we feel tired or there seems to be conflict at home or in the office and the energy doesn’t feel so warm anymore.
Why is that? Given the reason I said earlier. Things, negativities compound in a space. Why am I talking about this? Because we all live in a space and during this opportune time near Chinese New Year, before Chinese New Year, many people love or want to clear these negativities from their space.
And this is the service that we provide here at Kechara House. It’s called house blessing. But the term house here includes homes and offices. However, please take note that it is not just only during Chinese New Year that we offer this service. It’s all year round.
At Kechara House we do this service, and sometimes it’s conducted by monks and at times by our official Buddhist Pastors who have all been empowered by our Guru, Tsem Rinpoche.
Why do people do house blessings? It is to clear our obstacles, to clear our negativities and to cleanse the space of anything that is not just negative, in some cases heavy. And what are the benefits? I would say naturally at home, if you clear negative energies, there’s more harmony. Clearly at home, when you clear the negative energies, you feel peace, and that is exactly what we want in home, right? Peace and harmony.
How about in the office? Well, tell me which working environment doesn’t have some kind of politics, some kind of backstabbing, some kind of bad mouthing, gossiping, etc. What does that lead to? If it compounds you have a lack of productivity, lack of teamwork, maybe even a high turnover in your staff. So by doing a house blessing at your office, what you’re doing is you’re clearing all that compounded negativity to clear the space for objectivity, for clarity, so that you have productivity, teamwork and working harmony. So I’m now at a friend’s home and they have ordered from Kechara House the service of house blessing.

Wow this was just amazing to watch. I think that houses blessings are so very vital for the well being of the inhabitants of the house. Given that all sorts of spirits exist and as we don’t know what kind of karma we have towards them or they towards us, it makes perfect sense to have the house blessed by enlightened beings energies. Plus, I guess even spirits get blessed during the ritual.
So fortunate to learn about house blessing and that we can bless our house and environment with the powerful puja. It is so important to have good and clean energy to live in. Good energy translate to good feeling, clear mind, peace and harmony. We all want this good energy wherever we are. And thankful that Kechara has puja team to offer house blessing services to us.
