Five Must See Bigfoot Documentaries
“Bigfoot” (also known as “Sasquatch”) is the name given to a mythological simian, ape or hominid-like creature that is said to inhabit forests, mainly in the Pacific Northwest. Many dismiss this creature to be either folklore or hoax, due to lack of physical evidence. However, sightings of the North American Bigfoot date back to the 1830s, and there have been tens of thousands of sightings of Bigfoot-type creatures around the world, with many enthusiasts claiming their belief in the creature’s existence. The location of these sightings include the jungles of Sumatra and Brazil, the Australian bush, the Himalayas, across China and Eurasia.
Apart from sightings, there is plenty of evidence such as vocal recordings, photos, videos, hair, footprints, hand prints and countless eyewitness reports. In fact, there are far too many eyewitnesses for the phenomenon to be imaginary. Today, the question of Bigfoot’s existence remains open, with the continuation of sighting reports, photos, and footprint discoveries spreading across the internet.
Do you believe that Bigfoot exists? We would like to share with you five popular videos of Bigfoot found online. We invite you to explore the evidence and tell us what you think!
VIDEO 1: World of Mysteries – On the Trail of Bigfoot (with friction ridges on foot)
Is there an unknown beast lurking in the forests of the American Northwest? Thousands of people say they have seen it. It is part ape, part man and almost nine feet tall. Covered head to foot in thick, dark, hair, it walks on two legs. It is sometimes called “Sasquatch”, a Native American word that is only one of over 80 names that Native Americans have for such a creature. Could this beast be the fabled missing link that proves humans are descended from apes?
Jimmy Chilcutt, a fingerprint expert based in Conroe, Texas, has identified a series of dermal ridges and valleys from a number of Sasquatch/Bigfoot casts. He pointed to what he calls the “pattern flow” of the friction ridges on a Bigfoot cast, explaining that they were not human nor primate, but from “a species in itself.”
VIDEO 2: The Abominable Snowman Documentary
In the towering peaks of the Himalayas, he is known as Kang-mi, Temu and Yeti. To the Western world, he is the Abominable Snowman. Let’s venture high into the snowy slopes of the world’s tallest mountains in search of this mythical beast, probe the long history of purported sightings and meet with Tibetan monks and Sherpa villagers who claim to have seen Yetis in the wild. Hear the opinions of mythologists and anthropologists who have studied the sightings and stories of the Yetis, and explore the findings of a team of Chinese and American scientists who examined hairs that indicate some form of undiscovered ape roaming the Himalayan foothills.
In the video, you will also see the 300-year-old Yeti’s scalp — one carried by Sir Edmund Hillary across the globe for inspection by zoologists and other experts. The half football-shaped scalp is stored in a cabinet in the prayer hall at a monastery in Khumjung, Nepal.
Do not miss this remarkable video from tourists in Nepal that makes the strongest case yet for the existence of the Abominable Snowman.
VIDEO 3: Hunt for the Abominable Snowman
Since the term “Abominable Snowman” was coined by Western explorers in the 1920s, reported sightings of the elusive beast have become remarkably common. Thousands of miles away in the United States, sightings are replicated by the almost identical story of Bigfoot or Sasquatch. However, despite its worldwide fame, hard, conclusive evidence of the beast’s existence has never been found.
The Yeti is said to be half man, half ape and it only roams the most remote peaks, where people rarely venture. Now, veteran explorer and climber Gerry Moffatt sets out to find proof in a hunt that will test his stamina. As conventional scientific theories challenge ancient beliefs and credible witnesses, he works to separate fact from fiction and find hard evidence that the legend is real.

The title of this documentary is “Bigfoot: The Definitive Guide”. A team of top scientists come together with one goal: to create the definitive guide to Bigfoot. Does the creature exist? And if it does, where is it? And how can it survive without being detected? There are more than 10,000 sightings around the world of an unidentified creature which walks on two legs, covered in a thick layer of hair. Many of these sightings date back over 100 years.
Roger Patterson’s 1967 Bigfoot film is examined and Eric Shipton’s 1951 photographs of supposed Yeti tracks in the snow at 19,000-20,000 feet are featured. Professor Jeff Meldrum of Idaho State University also appears in the video, describing the characteristics of track casts. Could Bigfoot, Yeti and Yeren (China’s Wild Man) be the likely descendants of Gigantopithecus?
VIDEO 5: Ancient Mysteries Bigfoot (Bigfoot screaming caught on tape)
This documentary uncovers hidden facts and reveals possible explanations for the controversial ape-like legend known as “Bigfoot”. Listen to experts who have researched the beast the American Indians call “Sasquatch” and who have found new perspectives on this centuries-old mystery.
With all the supposed sightings of this creature and of the commercialisation to keep the mystery alive, it is hard to tell what is fact and what is fiction. Narrated by Leonard Nimoy, this documentary sets out to find the truth through the use of archival footage, eyewitness videotape and computer analysis.
