Mahasiddha Kukkuripa the Dog Lover
I love statues and images of Mahasiddha Kukkuripa. He practiced the ‘Diamond Dakini’ sadhana and meditation till full realizations. This statue is nice where his beloved doggie is kissing Kukkuripa. Very affectionate looking and very warm. The statue has a divine quality yet still very everyday human and down to earth. Everyone can relate with affection.
Mahasiddha Kukkuripa is such a touching tale of enlightenment. One of my favorite Mahasiddhas. A story that brought tears to my eyes. It is a must read.

Interesting audio narration of Kukkuripa’s story. The gentleman’s accent in the narration gives it more ‘flavour’. Enjoy!

Thank you Rinpoche and blog team for sharing this interesting video and short introduction of Mahasiddha Kukkuripa the Dog Lover.🙏😘👍👏
Whenever I step away for a short while my Oser girl will take over my chair. She will sit on it and wait for me. When I get back, I have to squeeze in and sit with her. She always wants to be in my chair and next to me. If my other doggie Dharma boy tries to get into the same chair, he will be chased away by her. Funny. Take a look at this video for a cute attack! https://video.tsemtulku.com/chat-videos/2018/12/chat-1543881459.mp4
