Purifying Karma while walking for health
Dear Kecharians,
Now that we have more time, please go for your walk daily without miss. Circumambulate around our beautiful blessed statues especially Nagaraja (near EF) for purification as he is the embodiment of the 35 Confessional Buddhas, Tara for success in transformation of our minds, Vajra Yogini stupa to create causes to ascend to Kechara, Manjushri (pond)/Manjushri Hill (either location) for realizing Lam Rim by Kyabje Pabongka and Atisha and Healer Loma Gyoma for healing our bodies and mind. While doing so, recite any mantras from your heart. Soon a large outdoor DS (9ft) will arrive and be ethroned behind VY stupa next to Wisdom Hall. And you can circumambulate around him too! No matter if we do DS work or not, you are still living in a holy place and your primary purpose is to collect merit, make the mind subdued and gain deeper insights. We always wanted a spiritual environment/community and we have one now. So take full advantage of it now and ‘enjoy’ every minute of it and rejoice for every minute of being here in Kechara Forest Retreat. We are lucky to be in such a beautiful and blessed place. So we collect merits for others and ourselves. We wish to advance in our minds to be of benefit to others in this and future lives. The purpose of life and the cause of happiness is serving others tirelessly.
Do your sadhana from the heart daily without miss. If you don’t have a sadhana, then daily do refuge, Manjushri praise and mantra, Shugden prayers and dedicate. Do your mantras from your heart. Always think of all those that have been kind to you and never forget their kindness and pray for them sincerely. Remember those that have ‘harmed’ you and remember that you are purifying collective karma with them. And be kind and grateful to others always. Always think how to benefit others even if it takes more time and you have to wait for them to be ready.
Tsem Rinpoche
P.S. If you have pets, take them for circumambulations too. They need it very much. To go around holy objects and hear your mantras. Quality time spent with them and preparation for their future rebirths.

We are indeed fortunate as Rinpoche has built the holy land of Kechara Forest Retreat where we can make offerings to the Buddhas and be blessed doing circumabulation and purify our negative karma. And we can do pilgrimage in Kechara Forest Retreat itself and do not need to fly to other countries. Thank you Rinpoche for making it so convenient for all of us.
Thank you so much, Rinpoche for creating Kechara Forest Retreat with such blessings of the beautiful Buddha statues and verdant greens. It is such peace away from the hustle and bustle of the city, with its quiet serenity. Of course, this is on top of the blessings that we will receive from our circumambulations of the many Buddha statues that had been consecrated by the high Lamas and Sangha.
Rinpoche founded Kechara Forest Retreat to be a healing place. Plenty of outdoor Buddhas are placed around Kechara Forest Retreat to bless the land and also the beings that are here. With beautiful blessed statues where we could circumambulate around and reciting mantras to purify our negative karma for body, speech and mind. We should use the opportunity while at Kechara Forest Retreat to go round those blessed statues more often.. as we are all very very fortunate to have a beautiful and blessed place to do so, and such a wonderful and kind and compassionate lama like Rinpoche to benefit people from everywhere. Thank you very much Rinpoche and blog team for sharing this light and meaningful article. ???????
Rinpoche has constitute Kechara Forest Retreat an ideal place away from the hustle and bustle of hectic city life. Its more of a place to experience of a spiritual lifestyle. With beautiful blessed statues where we could circumambulate around and reciting mantras. We should use the opportunity while at Kechara Forest Retreat to go round those blessed statues. Spending and enjoying every minute , its all that maters.
Thank you Rinpoche with folded hands.
Thank you Rinpoche and the blog team for sharing this post. Kechara Forest Retreat is really a gem in Bentong town. It is strategically placed in the greens while it is not too far away from the city. This made it perfect for those who want to have a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city of Kuala Lumpur.
Rinpoche designed Kechara Forest Retreat to be a healing place. Plenty of outdoor Buddhas are placed around Kechara Forest Retreat to bless the land and also the beings that are here. Rinpoche encourages us to go for our circumambulations when we have time because we can heal our body and mind at the same time when we circumambulate around holy objects.
Now that we have mantra stones to offer, we can offer them at the base of the holy statues to generate even more merits. With the accumulation of mantra stones at the holy sites, it makes our circumambulation much more powerful because each and every mantra stone represents a Buddha because it is the manifestation of Buddha in the form of sound.
Rinpoche is so compassionate to be constantly giving us new ideas to earn merits in simple and effective ways. We are blessed to have Kechara Forest Retreat and we should treasure our time here to generate as much merit as we can while we are here.
Life is never been easy. Whether we are doing secular work or doing dharma, there are endless problems we have to deal with. Spending time in secular work may give us a good life, fame, name or power but we have little dharma or worse, zero dharma. Whereas people who engaged in dharma work, they may face even more difficulties and problems but they gain dharma from this. Dharma is antidote to the root of suffering.
There are so much sufferings and distractions where practicing dharma become harder and harder in this degenerate age, we need to be surrounded by people who are doing spiritual practice. We need a spiritual environment in order to practice firmly and consistently, rather than depends solely on one’s will. Those who are part of the Kechara Forest Retreat community, there are very lucky because they are living in an environment that enriched them with spirituality.
Tsem Rinpoche’s compassion and kindness has created this beautiful and blessed place so that each one of us can take full advantage in our spiritual path. Be grateful and show our gratitude. Repay our Guru’s kindness by transforming our mind from time to time.
