World’s Largest Statues You Must Know About!
For thousands of years, since the inception of Buddhism, adherents having been creating images of the enlightened beings. Within Buddhist scriptures, it is said that even just seeing the form of a Buddha plants the seeds of enlightenment in one’s mindstream. Each part of the body of a fully enlightened being corresponds to spiritual attainments one can develop. Therefore the full form a Buddha represents not only complete enlightenment but the path to attain it.
Over time, as Buddhism developed, practitioners started making even larger and grander statues. People realised the energies from such statues were extremely beneficial: calming the area of wars, natural disasters, supernatural disturbances and imbuing the land with positive energies. Such places quickly became sites of pilgrimage and today, they number into the hundreds all over the world, visited by millions of devotees and tourists every single year. But it is not just Buddha statues that are made on a grand scale.
All over the world, throughout history, people had made huge statues of individuals they admire, who inspire them, who they wish to emulate or they want to commemorate. Whether it is deities, religious heads, politicians, military figures or humanitarians, it is human tendency to create and build large images of these individuals because that is how those figures appear in their minds – larger than life and awe-inspiring.

It is not surprised that many huge Buddha statues were built in many parts of the world both of a religious and secular nature.The bigger the Buddha statues will definitely beneficial to the surrounding area with positive energies, calming the area of wars and natural disasters .

Unbelievably beautiful statues of Buddha can be found in many places of China. I always love looking at huge statues while visiting and going on pilgrimage. To those who able to see it is a blessing.
