My 1,000 armed Manjushri shrine in my room. I really am blessed to have Manjushri in my life. Many flowers are offered to me from friends here in Malaysia and sent from around the world daily via www.vajrasecrets.com. Thank you everyone! I always offer the flowers to Buddhas for all the people sending me flowers. I wish everyone sending me flowers gain merits. Manjushri is carved from wood and this is my personal shrine next to my working area. 1,000 armed Manjushri exists in all Mahayana practices. But it became rare in the Tibetan tradition. This form is very popular among Chinese/Mahayana practitioners. He carries a begging bowl and a Buddha in each bowl. His practices and traditions are very strong in Taiwan. There are tempes/monasteries dedicated to Him there. I had this especially carved from wood. I will have Him painted and gold place upon his holy face. See the links of this form of Manjushri in China: http://www.doyouhike.net/city/shanghai/787978,0,0,2.html and http://www.tieku001.com/279939/58.html and http://banjin.blog.163.com/blog/static/693243842010327151049/ And I also enclose a 1,000 armed Manjushri statue from 5 Peaks of Manjushri temple in China. Thanks. Tsem Rinpoche
