British Hiker Found the Elusive Yeti in the Himalayas?
Dear friends,
I’ve had a life long interest in things not-ordinary. The first time I heard about Bigfoot I think was from a show called ‘In Search Of’ hosted by Leonard Nimoy which explored paranormal and mysterious phenomena across the world. It was one of my favorite shows. I use to hate the fact it was on for only 30 minutes a week! I wanted it to be longer. There were so many interesting subjects they explored weekly from ghosts, UFO’s, psychic phenomena, bigfoot, yeti, Atlantis, pyramids, Mayans, crop circles, Loch Ness monster, telekinesis and so on. Later I saw a few documentaries on bigfoot and I was hooked.
The tracks here photographed are interesting. If they are not by a Yeti, what or who do you think could have made these?

A British trekker hiking across the Himalayas believes he has found traces of the elusive Yeti
By Sean Martin
Steve Berry snapped an image of footsteps left in the snow in the small country of Bhutan and has no other explanation than the mythical snow creature.
Mr Berry says that the footprints are bigger than the average human and were found in a part of the mountain that had been untouched by man.
Due to the positioning of the prints, it is unlikely it would have been left by a snow leopard or another four-legged creature as this animal seemingly only has two legs.
The 66-year old spotted the prints on Gangkhar Puensum and said: “The local people said we were the first to ever set foot on that pass.
“I had always thought that stories about the yeti were a bit of old bunkum. But there is no denying these tracks existed.
“The prints were clearly visible with the naked eye from where we were standing on a pass at 17,800ft.
“There was a vertical drop in front of us, not to mention a very serious mountainside to cross, so we could not get to them.”
When Mr Berry, of south Gloucestershire, was back in touch with human contact four days after snapping the images, he was told by a yak herder that he too had seen the mysterious beast, which the locals know as migo, a decade earlier.
Mr Berry, who runs tourism firm Mountain Kingdom, added: “He said it was about 100 yards from him and standing upright facing him and looked straight at him.
“It was completely covered in long dun brown-coloured hair and a face covered in hair like a cat or dog but of human height.
“Then, he said, ‘You can recognise migo tracks because they put one foot directly in front of the other’ and I nearly fell over.
“I showed him the pictures from my camera and he said, ‘Yes, these are migo tracks’.”

There is an area near Lumbini, Nepal, they have sightings of Yeti for hundreds of years. So they have signages in the area with Yeti artwork to highlight this. Interesting. TR
Curious about the legendary Yeti? Not sure what to believe? Here is an article that explores a range of sources, from folktales to newspaper reports, detailing sightings and encounters with the elusive creature, who has been a part of the very fabric of various Himalayan communities for thousands of years. Read about religious beliefs, myths, fables and stories by scholars and travellers alike, and realise that there is more to the Yeti than you previously thought.

This is a real awesome documentary on bigfoot. One of the best – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cp5eV9nIEjk&feature=youtu.be
I believe that Yeti, Sasquatch or Bigfoot are real and that they are able to hide very well. If this one in the video was real… I don’t know but we should respect them as they have their own way of life and places where they stay.
In 1967, Bob Gimlin and Roger Patterson stumbled across an incredible sight whilst out in Bluff Creek, in the California wilderness. At a creek which had been freshly washed-out by recent floods, they witnessed a female Bigfoot swiftly traverse the rugged landscape. Since their filmed encounter with the Bigfoot, who has since been nicknamed Patty, many have disputed the authenticity of their recording but no one has been able to successfully prove that it is a fake.
Credits for this video goes to entirely to windvale for the original footage. ?
Sightings of the Yeti have been reported for centuries in Nepal, Tibet and many different part of the world. This mysterious, ape-like creature said to inhabit the high mountains of Asia. Footprints have also been spotted, and stories passed down from generation to generation. A British climber on Mount Everest took photos of mysterious footprints thought to be those of the ape like creatures.
Many great Himalayan climbers saw the creatures too but not much evidence to support . But amazingly scientist has found a genetic match between an ancient polar bear . And ‘Yeti’ specimens collected in the Himalayas and Tibetan Plateau. suggesting the creature known as the Abominable Snowman is still living in the Himalayas. The scientist also discovered that genetics should be able to unravel other, similar mysteries in the snow mountains.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this interesting discovery.
Another news about the Elusive Yeti. I like.
Dear Rinpoche,
Thank you for sharing this post. THis post is about Yetis which are considered a mythical animal to the public. Rinpoche said Yetis are in the animal realm and they used to help Highly attained masters who are meditating in the snow mountains to pass messages. This is also a reason why Rinpoche loved Yeti so much because Rinpoche’s last reincanation used to use them as a messenger.
This post reminded me of all the mythical creatures that I know off since i was young. They could be real because there are alot of unseen and seen beings around us. Spirits are a very clear example. Many footage and pictures of spirits can be found. but no one can have the spirit in captivity to prove its existence. However, you do can feel them. This shows that there are live after death.
Humbly,
Chris
This is amazing. I am always fascinated by this mystical creature. I heard lots of stories from my grandfather and uncles about it and they were all same descriptions. I started to believe in it though i have not seen them. This wonderful Rinpoche. This mystical creature surely exist far from human settlement.
It is very interesting to read about Big Foot, the mystical creatures that seemed to appeared in the colder climate. Rejoice to Steve Berry who snapped an image of foot prints left in the snow in the small country of Bhutan. It offered no other explanation but the mythical snow creature.
Mr Berry says that the footprints are bigger than the average human and were found in a part of the mountain that had been untouched by man.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing this interesting blog with us.

I don’t know – I believe in Bigfoot but these photos would have been more convincing had the men NOT been standing next to the tracks. Because relative to their size, it looks possible that they made the tracks and therefore their appearance in the picture introduced doubt and made me think maybe they made the tracks.
Also, if the guy is British and trekking in Bhutan, why is the video in Russian? If he had a camera to take photos of the tracks, why didn’t he film the tracks too? Then statements like this (“There was a vertical drop in front of us, not to mention a very serious mountainside to cross, so we could not get to them.”) would have been much easier to picture. There has been other proof released of Bigfoot / Yeti tracks that have been more convincing than this man’s story.
The yeti to me is another animal that is perhaps rare just like many other animals that are living either deep in the ocean or jungles, some of which we haven’t even discovered. What bewilders me is that with our current advance technology, no scientists have ever captured one alive for scientific study and documentation purposes.
If we can go to great lengths to study gorillas and chimpanzees, then why not the yeti or otherwise known as big foot? There have been many sightings in the US around Oregon and Northern California. It would be a lot more convenient to search for them there than in the harsh weather conditions of the Himalayan mountains.
Or is it because scientists have tried but have failed after many attempts? Bigfoot and yeti have always fascinated me when I was a child. It’s so mystical and exciting every time I see new pics of them because of the suspense of having empirical evidence that they actually do exist.
