Coral Castle
The photo above is of a man who created a stone structure that still puzzles architects, engineers and scientists today! Named Coral Castle, it was built by Edward Leedskalnin – a 5ft, 100lb immigrant from Latvia..who moved to Florida, USA in the 1920s.
Edward dropped out of school in the 4th grade and was not seen to be a very intelligent person…some people even thought that he was crazy! When he arrived in Florida, he would walk around poking at the soil, saying that he wanted good land but when farmers gave him real prime farming land, he would reject it.
You can see in the videos below that he knew what he was looking for – he knew what type of land he wanted and what type of material he was going to use to build his castle. He used blocks of limestone that were formed from coral. What is really amazing, and still puzzling to people today, is how precisely he could cut these stones…and how he could lift them up when they weighed several tonnes!!
Whenever people asked him, he’d just smile and say that he knew the ‘secret’. This secret is the same one that was apparently known to those who built the Egyptian pyramids and Stonehenge in England. To move these incredibly heavy objects, they would manipulate the magnetic properties of the objects…so that they would REPEL the Earth’s magnetic field and thereby lift off the ground.
There are 2 sets of videos below, both are the same but they come from different angles of documentary. I thought that I’d share them both with you..It is very, very interesting and it will make you think outside the box a little hehe

Thank you for the interesting sharing of Coral Castle. Wondering how strong was his will power to build this amazing place without any help or heavy machineries. Stunning! A creative talented man without paper qualification was able to discover the beauty of corals with his innovative thinking.
Very inspiring article, this proof that to achieve a dream we need to have an attitude, a strong desire, dedication, positive thinking, mentally strong, and discipline. I also admire Edward powerful IQ , he knew the secret of magnetic currents that modern science doesn’t know.
It is simply amazing how Edward Leedskalnin can move coral stones of up to 30 tonnes by himself with simple tools. Something which I think science can’t explained like how pyramid is built during that period without machines.
It is still a mystery how the Coral Castle was built. It is amazing how one man could single-handedly build a castle without using heavy machinery. There are many things science still cannot explain. Therefore, even if something has no scientific basis, it can be real, for examples, aliens, ufos, ghosts, gods, Buddhas, etc. We should always be open-minded so we can learn more.
Amazing …..Edward Leedskalnin was a self-taught engineer and amateur sculptor who single-handedly built the Coral Castle in Florida.Working alone with primitive tools, he quarried, carved, and set in place more than 1,100 tons of coral rock, creating what is commonly known as the American Stonehenge. How he accomplished this amazing feat remains a mystery. Many others believe he had somehow harnessed anti-gravity powers. Interesting….still puzzling to people today and still unanswered.I too wondering how he managed it at the that time whereby there is no machinery to help in the construction.
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing these amazing and interesting post.
Dear Rinpoche, we would be able to learn more about how did Edward Leedskalnin move these heavy corals if he wasn’t so selfish (I don’t think I’m using the correct word) right? And I don’t understand how did he even manage to make something that we can’t even calculate it with physics.
Dear Rinpoche, It’s would be surprising to know how did Edward Leedskalnin build the Coral Castle alone. But maybe didn’t have the time to explain how he moved the coral that weights up to 30,000 pounds with his bare hands. I wonder how did Edward Leedskalnin found the mysteries of the ancient pyramid with the knowledge of the 4th grade.
This is indeed very interesting, and it really puzzles me and I can’t help to think, what are the “unknown” things out there which we don’t know?
I am sure there are a lot of things which science can’t explain, and therefore, science does not cover everything. As such, we can’t really use the phrase “It can’t be proved by science so I won’t believe it”, because there are indeed many things can’t be explained by science.
I felt it is time to let our mind explore these unexplained phenomena and start questioning them, instead of just denying it all together.
I feel that Edward is like Einstein, someone who is so much more talented than many of us but yet act and look strange to many out there.
It is a real pity that he chose not to disclose the secrets, otherwise his knowledge can benefit so many works with a lot less time, energy and resources spent on the unnecessary.
I love these videos. It’s amazing what could be done with such ‘paranormal’ knowledge. If we only knew how Edward Leedskalnin built his castle, then construction of KWPC and KFR would take a lot less time, less money and less headaches.
Well, I think such unsolved mysteries does challenge our minds to accept that there are things outside of our ordinary understanding of the world. Enter the world of the paranormal and the world of Buddhas, yidams, Dharma Protectors, Dakas and Dakinis. If such things exists, then the ‘paranormal’ aspect of Buddhism must exist as well!
Guess science has unraveled the mysteries of how pyramids, Stonehenge and other ancients monuments may have been built. I guess the ancients knew better than scientists of today. And yet we call them the older civilization. Look who’s talking!
