Tashi delek His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche and my fellow friends,
My name is Jacky Lee and I am from Johor Bahru. Maybe Rinpoche is not familiar with me but, humbly, I am one of the participants that got approval/permission from Rinpoche to invite home the precious gift of a Dharma Protector Buddha Dorje Shugden statue during the blog sharing. Again, I want to record this video to tell Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, “Thank you so much for this gift”. This gift was the most precious and happiest that I got. I’d really love to share this moment with all the people who are watching this video too.
Secondly, this coming weekend, which is 24th October 2015, is our His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche’s birthday. So I wish to give my best wishes to you, Rinpoche. Happy Birthday to you and may Your Dharma Teachings spread all around the world and I hope you can stay healthy and continue to share your great Wisdom of Dharma.
Thirdly, I wish all of my friends and people who are watching this video… by taking this opportunity, I wish to share my affinity and gratitude to Dorje Shugden. I met Dorje Shugden long ago and at that time, it was early in the morning, roughly about 4.30 am. It was the time I walked from my house for about 15-20 minutes before reaching the bus stop where I commute to work. Every time I almost arrive at the bus stop, I need to walk past a dark alley. To be honest, I am not scared of ghosts or spirits but I was worried that robbers or thieves might appear in front of me. Luckily, this unfortunate incident didn’t happen.
Every day, I do same thing – I walk to the bus stop for work. And one day, I saw a poster of Dorje Shugden pasted on the TNB (Malaysia Electricity Company) box. At that time, I didn’t know His name and the poster didn’t print the name but only the image of Dorje Shugden. So as I looked at Him, inside my heart I told myself; how compassionate of this Buddha who’s here under the rain and shine. So I sincerely prayed and chanted OM MANI PADME HUNG that there will always be a person who sees Him and follows Him. Sounds very weird but I did it.
One day, the poster was torn off and the electric box had been re-painted. At that time, I was shocked and I searched around to see where the poster had been thrown and maybe I could find pieces of the poster but the sad thing was, I didn’t find anything. So I silently stood in front of the poster that had once been pasted on, silently chanted OM MANI PADME HUNG and told him, I hope I still have the affinity to find you.
After many years had passed, one day at my temple I heard a mantra and I felt great and magnificent. So I quickly rushed to the person-in-charge and asked what mantra it was, and he took out a CD and written on it was “大王金刚 Dorje Shugden”. At that time, I did not realize it was Him until I opened the cover of the CD and found the picture inside. The picture was exactly the same as the poster that I used to pray to a few years back. I looked at the CD and I felt very touched and then I said to Him, “Finally, I found you.” From that day onwards, I started to buy Dorje Shugden pendants to wear and tsa tsas to pray to and chanted his mantra daily.
So, I wish to share my second story. That happened the first time I visited Kechara Forest Retreat, just two or three months ago. I visited Kechara Forest Retreat and prayed to the largest Dorje Shugden statue in the world. That experience was hard to describe, but I can only say, that was pretty awesome. Then I went into the shop to see if there was anything that I could buy, and then I saw an 8-inch Dorje Shugden statue. I looked at the price and it was unaffordable for me to pay that amount yet. But I said to myself and Dorje Shugden, one day I will definitely invite you back to my house and pray to you. Not long afterward, Tsem Rinpoche shared his Dorje Shugden statues together with the topic of “Why you want to bring Dorje Shugden statue back home”.
At that time, I was so eager to get it and I quickly turned on my laptop to type out why I want to invite a Dorje Shugden statue back home. I sat quietly and wrote my story that I shared just now, and then I thought, “There are so many people who eagerly want the statue, and I don’t think I can invite the statue back home. Maybe my affinity with a Dorje Shugden statue has not yet arrived”. And I changed my mind and continued to write out the story but with the mindset of sharing my affinity with Dorje Shugden – without thinking of wanting or needing the statue. To share my story of Dorje Shugden because I found out the best gift that I ever received was not the statue but the blessings from Dorje Shugden. And I did share my post and I sincerely just wanted to share my greatest moment with Dorje Shugden. So, the next morning, one of the Kecharians tagged me on Facebook and said congratulations to me. That person was Albert. That time, I was surprised and knelt in front of a Dorje Shugden tsa tsa and said, “Thank you so much Dorje Shugden for giving me this best gift ever”, and the statue was right beside me.
Afterwards, I took the statue to do some painting and now the Dorje Shugden statue’s appearance is like the real form of a human in front of me. I want to thank Albert Ratchaga from Kechara Paradise for providing me this great service of painting statues and being my best friend. I also want to thank His Eminence Tsem Tulku Rinpoche for letting me pray to Dorje Shugden every day. To all of you who are watching this video, I want to share that Dorje Shugden has changed my life. So I want to remind all of you, think of Dorje Shugden, chant Dorje Shugden’s mantra, believe in Dorje Shugden every time, trust Dorje Shugden all the time and Dorje Shugden will always be there with you all. It is touching to read Jacky Lee’s story. I am impressed by Jacky’s strong faith in Dorje Shugden even before knowing who Dorje Shugden is and how He can help him. To me, this is a demonstration of pure faith and selflessly. I am also impressed by Jacky’s motivation in sharing the story of his affinity Dorje Shugden without selfish intention. This leads me to be reaffirmed that when we do things with the right motivation that is not driven by self cherishing thoughts, Dorje Shugden will be there to assist us.

Thank you very much Jacky for sharing your experience and story with all of us here, I feel very happy for you and I rejoice for the fact that you’re reconnected with Dorje Shugden again after so many years.
Sometimes an enlightened being can manifest in many ways to suite our minds and to be close to us, Dorje Shugden Himself has manifested in this form with the purpose to benefit and assist Dharma practitioners.
My family have come to know about Dorje Shugden for more than 15 years, and throughout the years, there wasn’t a single day that He had stopped helping us, there’s no words to describe how compassionate Lord Dorje Shugden is. We wouldn’t have what we have today if it wasn’t because of His Eminence Tsem Rinpoche and Dorje Shugden.

I am very pleased to know that the teaching of Dorje Shugden are spreading. Not only in Malaysia, but across the world. Of course it is good that more people in Malaysia are practicing Dorje Shugden too. As long as Dorje Shugden is spreading, it is very good. Very good for lifting the ban especially.
Another thing which i found to standout in the video was the fact that Jacky, despite knowing his english wasn’t perfect, went out of his comfort zone to get his message across. His efforts are much appreciated and i just want Jacky to know that it is okay and that every word was understood 🙂

Please never forget this feeling and never allow negative feelings or laziness to become stronger that you give up you protector and practice.
