Congratulations are in order

Dear friends,

I received this beautiful message from a student who has been with me for over ten years and she has come a long way. She has requested to be a nun years ago and I advised her to wait and train herself. Her sincere persistent wish to enter the nun-hood has never abated. She has her way of doing things but nevertheless she is very committed to dharma for sure. She is now a fully ordained Pastor of Kechara House. This is one step closer to becoming a nun. For now I think hearty congratulation are in order for Pastor Gim Lee. I offer her my best wishes, sincere prayers and gentle push to serve all beings with great compassion. Please offer Pastor Gim Lee your good wishes.

Tsem Rinpoche

I prostrate to your lotus feet Your Eminence Tsem Rinpoche.

Dearest Rinpoche, with the grace of your blessings I have received the pastor’s vows from our kind Pastor Yek Yee yesterday morning. I cannot thank you enough for giving me your permission and your blessings to take on the function of a Kechara’s Buddhist Pastor.

Reciting the pastor’s vows together with the other pastors who renewed theirs was wonderful. It is the affirmation of our commitments to follow on the foot step of Rinpoche to bring the holy Dharma to others. It is a promise to us ourselves to put others’ needs and benefits above our own.

I am very grateful to Pastor Yek Yee who represented Rinpoche to confer the vows to me. Pastor Yek Yee had been very kind and patiently guided me prior to the ordination.

The ordination ceremony was very well organized by the hardworking Kechara House staff and volunteers. I wish to thank Paul, Guat Hee, Jerry and everyone who have made it a smooth and notable event. My eldest sister and non-Kecharian friends were very impressed with the ceremony.

Once again I thank Rinpoche for always caring for me in the most compassionate way. May Rinpoche have stable health and long life, and continue to turn the Dharma wheel.

I was there when Pastor Gim Lee got her pastor vows. It was about time. I new from the very beginning i met her that she would be something special to Kechara. She used to teach me Dharma classes. She could speak very well and is a very good teacher. I think that she becoming a Pastor is really the next big step. Here she is able to teach more people and contribute to the spread of the Dharma.

As i read the letter above, there is only one thing i can say. What a grateful and compassionate person. The letter she wrote showed so much love and gratefulness towards Rinpoche. And i think that Rinpoche made the right choice as well, in giving Pastor Gim Lee the permission to receive her Pastor vows. I am sure that she will make Rinpoche very proud.

I am sure that she will become a very successful Pastor and many many people will come to have deep respect towards her. She will give many meaningful and pleasant teachings as well as she will always be kind to others. She will encourage more and more people to join kechara through her kindness and she will nurture all the young minds that are new to the Dharma. Congratulations Pastor Gim Lee.

n Tibetan culture, it is a popular and customary practice for families to invite monks to perform spiritual ceremonies such as Trusol rituals. The monks have had the opportunity to offer such ceremonies for individuals or their families. Such ceremonies purify the elements of the environment which helps those living or visiting there to experience good health, success and well-being. The sacred ritual of ‘bathing’ the Buddhas and consecration through which negativities, sicknesses and obstacles will be cleared. Where by filling those areas with positive energies and good vibes through this Trusol consecration puja. Water is an essential part of this puja and symbolises the cleansing of all negativities and impurities. Through this puja it also pacifies local deities and other unseen beings in the surrounding areas. We are indeed fortunate that Tsem Rinpoche has taught Kecharians this practice and it has benefited many.

Reading this post had me gain some knowledge of Shifter Werewolves. Any article regarding rare creatures or paranormal articles are of my interest since young. In European folklore, a werewolf is a man who turns into a wolf at night and devours animals, people, or corpses but returns to human form by day.They have the ability to transform from an ordinary human appearance to a partially-lupine form with pointed ears, mutton chops, claws and fangs, and a ridged brow . Wow… werewolf tends to be vicious and unable to control his blood thirst. Their underlying common origin can be traced back to Proto-Indo-European mythology. In many depictions, these bloodthirsty beasts are evil where they kill animals and innocent people. They are humans who transition into wolf-like creatures, after being placed under a curse. In folklore, most werewolves originate from being cursed or bitten by another werewolf. That’s what they do believe. According many enthusiasts, there’s many different type of werewolves such as Alpha wolves, Beta wolves , Deltas, Elders, some survive as loners while others move in packs. How true it is no one knows. I do believe their existing . Many interesting stories related to these wolves in the past history.

Beautiful Dorje Shugden at Malacca. One should pay a visit there, located at a busy tourist place. It was such an auspicious occasion that a grand Puja was held there. Dedicated students and volunteers were there getting the place ready for the grand puja. Well the Grand Dorje Shugden puja was conducted by very own Kechara puja team to commemorate the chapel’s 3rd anniversary. Many people attended the Puja that’s wonderful to receive the powerful Protector Dorje Shugden blessings. More people will make a connection and get to know Manjushri, the Buddha of Wisdom, in the form of a Dharma Protector. May Dorje Shugden’s practice flourish to benefit those tourists and locals.

Venerable Geshe Rabten Rinpoche is a highly realised meditation master known as a debater, scholar, and meditation master, was the first Tibetan Buddhist master to introduce the complete Vinaya-tradition. He had also introduce the study of the five major topics of Buddhism to the West. He became the ‘path breaker’ of the complete and complex teachings of Buddhism in the West. Many masters, who are famous in the West today, were Geshe’s students. enerable Geshe Rabten. Geshe Rabten wrote the beautiful and Manjushri’s prayer called Gangloma and gave a profound explanation. The begging bowl or alms bowl is one of the simplest but most important objects in the daily lives of Theravada Buddhist monks. The alms bowl still stands as an emblem of how all Buddhas, as numerous as grains of sand in the Ganges, practiced to end their desire. All those who receive the alms bowl should focus their mind to act with self-control and self-respect. Almsgiving is a tradition of Theravada Buddhists, majority in Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Laos. In those early days of Buddhism, monks would take their bowls and go out begging for food. As today in Thailand one could see monks woke up before dawn every morning and carried his bowl through the roads or paths wherever he was staying. Local people would place food in the bowl as a donation, through the generosity of lay people. They accept whatever food is offered for them and eat whatever been given, serve as a blessing for the giver.
One bowl has held the food of a thousand families. A solitary monastic travels on his journey of a hundred thousand miles seeking liberation from the cycle of birth and death.

Ajahn Siripanyo, the son of billionaire Ananda Krishnan, chose to abandon his inheritance and become a Buddhist monk in pursuit of spirituality. A Thai-Malaysian monk born in London and educated in UK. He was ordained in Thailand and lived there, leaving behind a life of immense wealth and privilege. He did surprised many and his choice was unexpected. Initially as a temporary measure, but somehow later evolved into a permanent way of life. Ven. Ajahn Siripanyo is now the Abbot of hermitage Dtao Dam on the Thai-Burmese border in Saiyok National Park, Thailand.
He was in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia years back giving an enthralling Dhamma talk on the timeless teachings of Ajahn Chah.

The Tibetan diaspora began in 1959 after the People’s Liberation Army entered the country. Thousands of Tibetan and the Dalai Lama fled into exile to India. The Indian government led by Jawaharlal Nehru kind enough to offer land which was scattered throughout the country. The Tibetans as refugees on which the Tibetans would be able to reestablish themselves. After 60 years of protests, campaigns and fundraising, the Tibetan movement has not been fruitful, increase the living welfare condition and Tibetans continue to depend on the kindness of their host countries. Due to these many Tibetan in exile left India to elsewhere and other countries seeking a better future. In the last 60 years, the Tibetan leadership have not been successful in making progress with their political goals. Surprisingly the Tibetan Spiritual leader Dalai Lama said in an interview published letter that Europe has accepted “too many” refugees . While there is many protests and attempts to pressure Europe to accept more refugees.
Further more the unethical ban against Shugden making life more difficult for many Dorje Shugden practitioners . Because of the ban against Dorje Shugden the whole Tibetan Buddhist world is divided until now. May all be harmonious soon even recently .Dalai Lama had said we could practice Interesting read. The Kalmyks are the only traditionally Buddhist people living within Europe. As Tibetan Buddhists, the Kalmyks regard the Dalai Lama as their spiritual leader. Kalmykia is a historical crossroads on the Silk Road. The Western Mongol Kalmyk tribes. The Kalmyks live primarily in the Republic of Kalmykia, a federal subject of Russia located in the southeast European part of Russia. The Kalmyks are the only inhabitants of Europe whose national religion is Buddhism. They embraced Buddhism in the early part of the 17th century and belong to the Tibetan Buddhist. Like other Mongols, the Kalmyk are very spiritual Tibetan Buddhists, but their Buddhism has a strong admixture of indigenous beliefs and shamanistic practices. Buddhism spread among Mongols during the time of the Mongol Empire. They have come a long way till now, with rich traditions in song, dance, music, arts and a powerful heritage ,strong convictions.

Thaipusam is a Tamil Hindu festival celebrated on the first full moon day of the Tamil month. The festival is celebrated to commemorate the victory of Hindu God Murugan over the demon Surapadman. The festival commemorates the triumph of good over evil by many devotees throughout Malaysia. For Hindus, Thaipusam is a day to cleanse oneself of sins and to repent for any transgressions in the past year.Devotees place a great deal of emphasis on the Vel. Silver, gold, lead, copper, and iron which is the five metals. It is said to be able to absorb all negative energy, spread positivity, and destroy all dangerous energies. Wearing yellow during Thaipusam as Lord Murugan’s favourite colour. Well Yellow is also associated with new beginnings, peace and happiness. On that day many devotees will be wearing yellow in color. Devotees will carry heavy ornate structures called kavadis while others have their tongues, cheeks and backs pierced with hooks and skewers. They then walk barefoot up 272 steps to the Batu Caves temple. Women devotees will carry the milk pots on that day. Thousands of locals and tourist from around the world of different faith will be there to witness this auspicious festival.

Dorje Shugden controversy began when the Dalai Lama made successive attempts to wrongly assert the nature of the Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden to be a harmful spirit. The great lineage masters such as Kyabje Pabongka Rinpoche and Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche’s teachings are amongst the greatest dharma that forms the foundation of Gelugpa education. As confirmed that Dorje Shugden is an emanation of Manjushri. Dorje Shugden is an enlightened Dharma Protector who manifested about 400 years ago from a lineage of erudite masters. They cant be wrong . Dorje Shugden via the Panglung oracle had helped the Dalai Lama in his great escape out of Tibet. There are so many highly attained lamas who practices Dorje Shugden and their reincarnations have been coming back again and again. Even 5th Dalai Lama composed a prayer to Dorje Shugden and built a Protector chapel dedicated to Dorje Shugden as well. That’s Trode Khangsar in Central Lhasa which is still there. The ban of Dorje Shugden is unnecessary and illogical as the bigger purpose of Dorje Shugden,is the preservation of the Dharma. The Tibetan Leadership (CTA) has instituted this ban against Dorje Shugden for many years and its time to lift the ban. May more people read and understand the ban and the real reason behind this controversy.

Panchen Sonam Dragpa a scholar ,great master, writer, abbot of all monastic universities. Well known for writing 11 definitive volumes of philosophical teachings. He was the unmistaken incarnation of the pure monk Duldzin Drakpa Gyaltsen who was a direct disciple of Je Tsongkhapa.Panchen Sonam Dragpa was unique in having served as abbot of the three main Gelug monasteries that is Ganden, Sera and Drepung. The only person ever to have received this honour. Panchen Sonam Dragpa’s collected works spans volumes, constituting the main textbooks which is still used today.
Worth reading over and over again this great Lama life’s story.

Troll is a being in Nordic folklore, described as trolls dwell in isolated areas of rocks, mountains, or caves, live together in small family units, and are rarely helpful to human beings. Trolling behaviors involve tactical aggression to incite emotional responses, which can adversely affect the target’s well-being. Troll represented aspects of life and nature that were beyond human control or understanding. They can be found all over Norway with mysterious rock formations and mountains with troll-like-shapes , sometimes possessing magic powers too. Reading this post had me get to know there’s other forest creatures that existed long ago. An eye opener reading it .

Dice divination, a fascinating and ancient method of fortune-telling, has been used by various cultures throughout history. Dice hold different meanings and symbolism in various religious traditions, representing chance, fate, and the connection between humans and the divine. Dice are commonly used as divination tools in modern witchcraft and are interpreted to seek insight and guidance from higher powers. Despite all the different rules and approaches, all forms of dice divination are basically the more same.
In Tibetan Buddhism there are a number of divination methods. Even within dice divination there are many forms, and these are associated with many different deities such as Manjushri, Palden Lhamo and Dorje Shugden. Dorje Shugden divination method is well known to be extremely accurate , very beneficial and effective.
Our Guru H E Tsem Rinpoche had received the entire transmission and commentary of the Dorje Shugden divination lineage from Dorje Shugden himself. One should maintain very good guru devotion and have clean samaya with our guru with ,have respect for the Dharma and have the deepest faith in the great and powerful enlightened protector Dorje Shugden to do the divination.Tsem Rinpoche has helped thousands of people through his divination methods in Malaysia. Visualizing deities while meditating or when we are performing a puja is one of the principal methods used in the Tibetan tradition. Deities are highly symbolic representations of awakened minds that have appeared to past masters in visions. Deities are represented in thangkas and paintings. As more and more people embrace the Tibetan Buddhist path with sincerity and dedication, they understand better and could visualize through the practice. It is not about appeasing a deity, but engaging in formal meditational practices to transform ourselves. The actual practice in Buddhism is to purify karma, accumulate merits by way of Buddha-deity practice, and to create the causes and conditions for spiritual realisations.

Lama Thubten Phurbu a prominent Gelug lama born in a village in Shanglaxiuxiang, Qinghai.As a young child, he showed extraordinary intelligence. Lama Thubten Phurbu is at the forefront of spreading Je Tsongkhapa’s tradition and Dorje Shugden inside Tibet. Lama Thubten Phurbu is responsible for propagating this Dharma Protector’s practice to many. Well respected by many in Kham, Tibet and is a deeply respected local figure known for his work in the community and have done much more for the Tibetan people than the CTA have. Lama Thubten Phurbu’s great works have benefited many sentient beings in Tibet and China. He travels occasionally to the West, India and Nepal to give teachings on Lama Tsongkhapa’s precious lineage as well as Dorje Shugden’s practice. Visited many places spreading Lama Tsongkhapa’s teachings, teaching the Lam Rim as well as the Mind Transformation teachings, and promoting the lineage of Dorje Shugden with the support from the Chinese government . Great sharing of a great Lama.

Paulo Sérgio asked: Dear Pastors, Om Mani Padme Hum 🙏🏻 When we invite a statue into our homes, they are hollow. We know that they need to be filled and consecrated. Here on Tsem Rinpoche's website, I have seen prayers for consecrating statues, but I have not found the method for filling them. Is there a method that ordinary practitioners can use to fill the statues? Practitioners who live close to their sanghas probably find it easier to do this, but that is not my case. 2 - I read somewhere that the practice of White Tara encompasses the 4 classes of Tantra. In the Gelug school, are there practices of White Tara in Highest Yoga Tantra? 3- There is a prayer by Gyalwa Gendun Drub in honor of White Tara titled "A Gem to Increase Life and Wisdom." pastor answered: Dear Seema Purohit, Thank you for your question. Astrological influences do not necessarily mean that things on that day will go bad. There are methods that we can use to overcome any negative influences and make those days very successful and productive. First since this has to do with exams, you should be practical about it, make sure that you know the exam material well, make sure that you eat properly before the exams, and make sure that you remain calm before and during the exam. If you know the material well, if you are too nervous then it may cause you issues during the exam. From the spiritual angle, you can make offerings on your altar before your exam. Actually, it would be good for you to make offerings on your altar daily from now until then, to generate merit so that your exam will be successful. You can also engage in Dorje Shugden's mantra - OM BENZA WIKKI BITANA SOHA. Dorje Shugden a Dharma Protector who helps us to overcome obstacles and be succesful. He is an emanation of Manjushri, who is the Buddha of Wisdom. What's is different between these three holy pills? How i should use or supply better these pills for anyone or my self? What's meanings of these pills and benefits of this? Thank you so much.
pastor answered: Dear Nelson, You have received some very powerful and blessed holy pills from your friend. In general, all the pills are made from dried crushed herbs and holy items and then consecrated during long pujas, dedicated to a particular deity to imbue them with certain energies. Here is a little bit of information about them: Tamdrin Dudtsi Mendup - these pills are made from holy nectar and consecrated using the practice of Hayagriva, who is a wrathful emanation of Chenrezig (the Buddha of Compassion). Generally, any blessed item using the practice of Hayagriva is good for protection from spirits and nagas, negative forces or energies, etc. They are also good for healing illness and diseases, especially effective for any type of skin disease. Mendup pills are also specifically made for healing physical illnesses. Sera Ngakpa Dratsang is the tantric college of Sera Monastery in Tibet, where they learn and practice the different types of tantric systems within the Gelug lineage. Mani Rilbu - these are pills blessed with the energies of Chenrezig using the Mani mantra - OM MANI PEME HUNG. They are great for general healing and well-being and are very potent sources of the compassionate energies of the Buddha. Drashi Gonkhang is a protector chapel dedicated to Drashi Lhamo who is a form of Palden Lhamo. This chapel is affliated with Sera Monasery which is of the Gelug lineage. They are are excellent for providing protection and swift assistance to overcome worldly and spiritual obstacles. Sampheling Monastery also belongs to the Gelug tradition and the Sangha there are known to be very strong practitioners of Dorje Shugden. It is also considered to be the home monastery of one the most important incarnation lineages within the Gelugpa tradition - the line of Trijang Rinpoches. Kagye Drupchen holy nectar pills - these are pills made from blessed nectar and consecrated using the Kagye practice, which is a practice incorporating eight different tantric deities. Mindrolling is also one of the most famous Nyingma lineage monasteries. It is one of the six Mother Monasteries of that lineage. I do not know much about the benefits of this rilbu as we practice the Gelug tradition in Kechara, and this practice belongs to the Nyingma tradition. While certain practices are shared in common throughout all traditions, the Gelug lineage does not have this particular practice. Here is some general advice of what you can do with the pills: > Insert into Buddha statues and stupas at the appropriate level to increase their blessings and positive potential. It’s said that if one has very good samaya with the guru, the holy rilbus placed in a stupa will miraculously multiply and grow. > Place a holy rilbu in your water bottle and drink throughout the day for general protection, healing and blessings. The water can be topped up daily until the pill has completely dissolved. > In times of need, a rilbu can be consumed on its own. Swallow it whole with water, or crush into powder and consume with water. > Dissolve in bathing water to relieve skin problems and for general protection. > Place in the mouth of a dying person or animal to help them pass on peacefully. > Place in the mouth of a deceased person or animal to help them take a better rebirth. The pills should be store in a cool, dry and respectful place when not using them, otherwise they might go bad depending on the climate where you live. I hope this helps. Thank you.

pastor answered: Dear Sayalbajracharya, The dissolution of Lama Tsongkhapa, via the central channel into your heart is actually an integral part of the Guru Yoga practice. The reason being, is that when you engage in Guru Yoga, you want the guru to come and reside in your heart, and merge with your mind. It is the method in which we gain his blessings in order to transform our mind. That being said, visualisation can be difficult. So, don't worry, at that part just think strongly that he has entered your heart and merged with your mind, and that you have gained his blessing. You will still gain his blessings. However, as you practice more and over time, you can slow add in the visualisation once you are more comfortable with. I hope this helps. Thank you.

pastor answered: Dear Thorim, Thanks for your question. Getting good sleep is very important. Medicine Buddha mantra is good for this, but should be recited very softly and slowly. Perhaps you are chanting too fast. You can try using it again to sleep, but focus on the sound of the mantra that you are making while you recite. Another mantra you can try is Dorje Shugden's mantra. Many people have tried it when their sleep is disturbed and it helps. Another thing you can try is breathing meditation or even Nine-Round Breathing before you sleep, you can learn more here: https://www.kechara.com/how-to-practise-nine-round-breathing-meditation/ You can also read and try the methods on this article. Tsem Rinpoche advised this for students who had trouble sleeping as the general advice was very good and people found it really helpful https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/current-affairs/10-sleep-mistakes-and-their-solutions.html There are tecnhiques and visualisations used during sleep, but those are actually meditational techniques unique to higher tantric practice. pastor answered: Dear Lisa, Thank you for your question. 1) If you want to repeat the prayer, then you repeat the section from the second "HUM" up to just before "KI KI SO SO, LHA GYEL LO!". The whole prayer is usually only done once, but if you can repeat that section multiple times if you would like. 2) Sangsol is traditionally done outside, but since you live in an apartment, you can offer the sang near your window. If you do at your altar, there will be too much smoke in your apartment. Sangsol is an offering, not a cleansing of your space using smoke. If you want to do a cleansing sang, you can find out how to do that here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/one-minute-story/stories-from-a-chela-cleansing-sang-visualisations and you can see a video on how to do it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swIkQ6mgYro 3) The Sangsol to Dorje Shugden is an offering and request for the Protector's assistance. It's usually done when in need to request for Dorje Shugden's help, for safety, removing obstacles, etc. The prayer helps to clear the negative effects of karma that is manifesting and causing obstacles or negative situations in our life, as well as providing protection from obstacles and negativities. This all comes from the merits generated from actually making the smoke offering and reciting the prayer. You don't need to do anything else specifically for this to happen. 4) The full visualisation for the prayer can only be done by those with tantric initiation. In general however, you can visualise Dorje Shugden (and if you can his retinue) in space in front of you. As you make the offering, he is very pleased. Then think strongly that he is helping you overcoming your specific obstacle or protecting you in general. Hope this helps. Thank you.

pastor answered: Dear Tshulthrim Yoezer, Thank you for your question. This is due to the nature of Samsara. Any one who is born will have to die. Anything that comes into existence will one day have to stop existing. As the Buddha took birth as a human, he need to give up his body and pass away. But because the Buddha was enlightened, this is not the same thing that happens to us. He became enlightened under the Bodhi Tree in Bodhgaya, but he was still in his human body, and so he had to pass away. His passing away is known as the Maha Parinirvana of the Buddha. I hope this answers your question.

Can I practices Chenrezig Ngesung Kundrol Sadhana without initiation? Do you have prayers text for Chenrezig Ngesung Kubdrol? Thank you so much.
pastor answered: Dear Nona, Both mantras that you mentioned are mantras of Lord Manjushri. The mantras differ due to the particular form of Manjushri. Within our lineage, the Om Ah Ra Pa Tsa Na Dhi mantra is more prevalent because those particular forms of Manjushri are more prevalent in our practice. That is the difference. Yes, you can practice Chenrezig Ngensong Kundrol without initiation. However, since you do not have initiation, while you read the text, you generate the visualisation in front of you. You do not visualise yourself as Chenrezig. Doing so without the initiation will actually create obstacles for your spiritual path . The prayer text is not available online currently. pastor answered: Dear Jonathan, Yes, you can start with the Gaden Lhagyama and then follow the consensed version of the protector practice from the Diamond Path. This will be very good as you will be building a stronger connection with Lama Tsongkhapa. For the remainder of the prayers, you can follow the following order if you would like, after Gaden Lhagyama, before Dorje Shugden practice: > Prayer to Shakyamuni and Arahant Sivali (though these are not from the Tibetan tradition, they are okay to include. However, please bear in mind, they are from a different tradition. It is more appropriate to use prayers from the tradition we are practicing, rather than reciting prayers from other lineages. However I have never seen an independent prayer specifically to the Arhat Saivala as he is known in Sanskrit.) > Chenrezig Ngensong Kundrol > Tea offering to Vajra Yogini. If you are doing all these prayers, however, it may take some time. If you have the luxury of time, then by all means, please go ahead. However, if you have a busy daily schedule, it is best to keep the prayers shorter and make sure you are able to do the prayers daily without fail. To have a daily practice that is consistent and sustainable is important. It will also prepare you for higher practices in the future, which you have to engage in daily without break, otherwise it breaks certain commitments. It is best to prepare ourselves for the future, this is what Tsem Rinpoche has recommended. Rinpoche advised never to miss our daily practices. It is a foundation needed for higher practices. pastor answered: Dear Bhavisha, Though it is the essence of the long mantra, the longer mantra will have more effect. Because it is actually very hard to recite with total dedication, pure selfless motivation, etc for it to be completely effective as the longer mantra. The effort you put into reciting the longer mantra will have much better effect. In fact, the short mantra is hardly used in prayers and puja. It's the longer mantra that is mainly used. pastor answered: Dear Lee, Thanks for your question. Thank you for noticing. The text provided on this website is a shorter form of the Sadhana. The Diamond Path prayer book is for daily use and includes 2 different versions of the prayers. All three are valid. You can engage in either one. The only difference is the length of the complete set of prayers, that is it. Of course, the longer of the two versions in the Diamond Path is more effective when done daily than the other two as you are putting more of your time and effort into making a connection with Lama Tsongkhapa and Dorje Shugden to benefit from their spiritual energies. pastor answered: Dear Don, Yes you can still use it, it was an accident. It's not ruined or anything like that. You can continue to use it normally. If you would like to, you can hold it over some incense smoke to purify it while reciting OM AH HUNG three times, and the next time you engage in mantra recitation or your daily sadhana, recite the mala blessing mantra seven times and blow on your mala before using it. The mantra is: OM RUTSIRA MANI PRAWA TAYA HUNG. That will increase the merits you generate from each mantra you recite while using your mala for that day. The mala blessing mantra can be done daily. In fact that is why it is included at the beginning of all of our prayers here in Kechara. Hope this helps. Thank you.

pastor answered: Dear Nana, You can find the text for the Drugchuma puja here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/buddhas-dharma/kalarupa.html. However the ritual is usually only practiced by those with initiation or have permission from their gurus to practice without initiation. And it is a very long puja if done individually. Typically it is done with four or more people, as there is a section that has to be repeated many times. You also need to know how to set out the offerings and make the tormas, which is complicated in itself. In the above article however, is a short prayer to Kalarupa and his mantra. Those can be done by anyone. If you feel a connection to Kalarupa, you can use that prayer and mantra daily. You should set up an altar with offerings to Kalarupa. Make offerings daily and engage in the prayer and mantra recitation to create a connection with him. Generally, here in Kechara, following the advice of Tsem Rinpoche, everyone engages in the practice of Dorje Shugden as he is our main Dharma Protector. Sometimes people will engage in other Dharma Protector practices in addition to the daily sadhana known as the Diamond Path: https://www.vajrasecrets.com/products/diamond-path. You can read more about his practice on many articles on this blog. If you feel a particular connection or affinity with other enlightened Dharma Protectors, you can of course practice those as long as the prayers are available to those who do not have any required initiations or permissions from their guru. Both Dorje Shugden and Kalarupa are very good Dharma Protectors to pray to. I hope this helps.
