Kids at KWPC land!
Dear Rinpoche,
We brought a group of kids to KWPC land today. They are 18 kids and 12 adults. Most of them are first time and they were very happy. We gathered at Kechara Care and move on at 2pm. When we reached there we liberated 130 birds. 100 sponsored by Angel and another 30 frm Karen, Jeffery & myself. Before we liberated the birds we set a motivation. KWPC is a place where people will find peace. By liberating animal we give freedom and peace to the animals. May this liberation we created the cause for KWPC to manifest and more people benefited. We also make dedication for Gabriel & Tamejran for his swift recovery and may all the suffering taken away. Wee Kiat & Lyn came later as they have not seen the land before. Both of them keep looking around the land and Wee Kiat said that it is near to his house. Can come here easily . List of people at KWPC Land :

yupp that was such a fun and awesome day. i loved it sooooooo much, the lad was sooo beautiful and amazing. there were some animals around like birds, and there was this butterfly following us around too… auspicious.
Kids with Dharma has great potential to be of great benefit to the world and the people around them. Growing up with dharma it gives the kids some direction and some guidelines on how to live their lives as opposed to many of us who grew up without Dharma.
We greatly rejoice at kids who have the good karma to start learning and experiencing the practice of dharma at a young age. It is a good start for KH too to instil into our future generations the practice of dharma. “The most important education you can give children is in Ethics and the development of a good heart”, I once heard Lama Zopa Rinpoche said. H.H. The Dalai Lama has also stated that the teachings of universial values of kindness, compassion, humility, respect and responsibilty should always be the parents’ aim to equip their kids with. Although raising children is time-intensive, parents should not see this as anti-thetical to Dharma practice, they can learn a lot about themselves from their children, and they can help each other work through the challenge of parenthood in the light of Buddhist values. I also truly believe that our future KWPC is also geared and equiped with this value!
Having children is not an achievement like many think… HAH, this surely busts many beliefs of many adults. It definitely did for me… I used to think that one of my achievements was having three beautiful monsters… Julien, Lucas and Jason. But when I learnt that even animals have offsprings, I did not feel that special : )
BUT, having children and then having them learn the Dharma so that their lives will benefit others… NOW, this will be an achievement!
The kids are very lucky to have the opportunity to practise dharma at such young age,i can see from the picture they are enjoying themselves very much at KWPC land they are the future of Kechara Organisation.
What a fun, meaningful outing for the kids. They are so fortunate to be connected to dharma at this young age. This kids will grow up and carry on KWPC legacy to the next generation.
This may be Kids Day Out to KWPC land. Soon it will be Kids Camping trip to KWPC land, then Kids Stay Over at KWPC, and perhaps eventually Kids (by then they are teenagers) Reside Permanently in KWPC. Very lucky as they get to evolve with the progress of KWPC from jungle to a World Peace Centre!
Rinpoche had taught me again and again that the best gift a person can give is the knowledge of the Dharma.
As such I am very happy to see my family participating in the KWPC land event. May I have the merit to give my family the wonderful gift of Dharma.
What a meaningful day for the kids. nice pictures!
Thanks for sharing this post
Looks like a very fun and purposeful day! The kids enjoy themselves and also get to liberate birds! Definitely the outing would have generated merits for KWPC to manifest faster. Also start them young and get to know where our future retreat land is and may they be the future for Kechara to grow bigger.
Thanks KC for organizing this trip. It is a blessing to be able to go with my girls to KWPC land. It is so peaceful there listening to the sound of insects and birds.
May KWPC manifest asap and able to bless more in this region.
I sometimes wish I were their age so I can enjoy KWPC when I’m older, without having to do the hard work hehehe actually doing the work is even better, because it means I am involved in something that will create huge amounts of merits.
It’s very exciting that the future bright young things of Kechara meet the place where Kechara’s future will be located. I’m glad the kids were able to visit KWPC and that they enjoyed themselves. It’ll be the place where they grow old too, and it makes Rinpoche’s vision very real for them, standing in the spot.
The kids are our future. How fortunate the kids are to get in touch with dharma at such a young age. It’ll benefit them tremendously when growing up, watching how their parents in dharma making KWPC come true. The legacy will be passing down generation after generation. Our house, money, clothes can pass down too. But this is with greater meaning!
Legacy of KWPC will begin with us and the kids will carry on the legacy to the next generation. The kids are our future hope.
Love day-out for the kids and adults alike !!
These kids will be the ones who carry on the KWPC legacy.
Good job by Kechara Care!
Very fortunate and beautiful future generation that being trained and have opportunity to get involvement in Dharma studies since very young age. Rejoice for them 🙂
