Look what the postman brought!
Dear friends,
I was so surprised when delivery came and dropped this off at my house fully framed, undamaged and in perfect condition. Can you imagine, painted, wrapped and sent from Malaysia to USA! Fantastic! It is an oil painting of Manjushri!! Also a very kind message came with this painting. I was told Wylfred planned 😛 the conceptualization, overseeing, coordination and also the completion of this holy gift.
I am so appreciative and so touched that a precious gift with so much thought, love and care has arrived. I guess my tiny bit of benefit to some people does inspire them to show me their love, gratitude and care that I humbly accept in form of this Manjushri painting. I love Manjushri in all His forms. He is the supreme epitome of all the attainments of the Buddha mind that I wish to achieve. I pray by this merit of creating Manjushri, Wylfred and group will be blessed by Manjushri and always be near Him, be close to Him in all their lives and to finally achieve His same realizations. I am amazed at the whole thing. 😀
I thank Wylfred and everyone who has contributed to this painting. I appreciate deeply from my heart. I am touched and I will continue to benefit others in my limited methods, not to get gifts but realizing there is some small impact. I like to let Wylfred know I like your initiative, creativity and efforts in this. I will remember you and everyone’s requests of living longer and transmitting dharma. I thank Wylfred from the depths of my heart. You are a kind and spiritual person. I thank all those who have contributed. So generous of you all. I thank the artist Ray Hoo Low Wei for the lovely painting and frame.
Again, everyone who contributed-THANK YOU SO MUCH. I am blessed.
Tsem Rinpoche

A picture paints a thousand words. Here, we do not only see Manjushri in his glorious form but rather the love, devotion and energies single pointedly to make an offering to the Lama. This act of devotion is nothing else but a very praiseworthy act of devotion.
Rejoice for Wylfred and those who have contributed to this offering!

It is a very beautiful Manjushri painting. Most precious of all, is Wylfred who initiated and transformed the idea to reality for RInpoche. His care, thoughtfulness, effort, actions are our examples to follow.
Thank you Wylfred and all who contributed to the painting. May you always be blessed by Manjushri.
This is a very beautiful piece of Manjushri painting. Its beautiful because of the effort and time put in to obtain this holy painting. I rejoice for Wylfred and the team for such care and thought in offering this beautiful holy painting to Rinpoche.

may rinpoche always happy and healthy !!!
Dear Rinpoche I m glad Rinpoche like the painting is very colorful and very contemporary looking not like the classic Manjushri painting we usually see very bless to look at this beautiful painting.
Dear Rinpoche,
Seeing this Lord Manjushri’s image on Facebook shared was fascinating already, I guess by seeing the painting itself must be stunning. Is even happy to see Rinpoche’s smile on the picture. Thank you Rinpoche for sharing, and Wylfred and groups and artist Ray Hoo for painting it. 🙂
With folded hands,
Wah Ying
Wylfred is a very thoughtful, inquisitive & loyal person. The moment he saw Rinpoche’s post on this 2 pictures he immediately contacted his friend to get this painting done, everything was perfectly arranged within 1 week and it arrived in Rinpoche’s resident undamaged. I sensed his love and loyalty to Rinpoche from his efficiency. On top of that, he has been making regular offerings to Rinpoche which shows his consistency.
Rejoicing for others’ good actions that they have done is easy and simple (and of course meritorious too!) but even more so, I would rejoice more upon hearing this Karen (thanks for this extended stories behind the scene) ! The thoughtfulness, efforts and time taken by Wylfred is beyond measurable. May he and and others who have contributed may have extra blessings from Rinpoche.
Very pretty
Beautiful offering from everyone! Wylfred is truly thoughtful, such a nice, young and spiritual person.
Hi Tsem Tulku,
I don’t mean this in disrespect – just curious.
Just curious, why is the food in Kenchara so expensive?
I mean we are supposed to make vegetarianism easily assessable to everyone right?
Also – how do you get enough protein as soy protein isn’t healthy for the human body. Would be interested to hear your views. How do you get a strong and healthy body with just carbohydrates and soy protein.
Thanks!
It is truly a beautiful and thoughtful gift for a Guru, as Lord Manjushri represents the supreme epitome of the guiding light, particularly associated with Wisdom and knowledge. With such brightness, it will provide one with the supreme light to guide himself or herself of of darkness and samsara. What a wonderful and meaningful gift for the Guru! It’s so thoughtful of Wylfred and his group. May Rinpoche live long in guiding us to turn the wheel of Dharma for the benefit of all beings. Om mani padme hung.
Rejoice for Wylfred and our Kechara team. It is a very beautiful painted picture of Manjushri with full of wisdom and compassion. I sincerely hope and pray for Rinpoche to live long and stay healthy always. I am truly happy that Rinpoche likes this painting of Manjushri.
Thanks for Rinpoche’s sharing. Very beautiful and sincere gifts. I remember Rinpoche did share this holy picture and mention like this form in Indian style. Really su prise gift and good efforts for the team to offer to Rinpoche.
Wow…!!!very beautiful painting of Lord Manjushri.Rejoice for sincere offering from Wylfred and group.
May Rinpoche happy always, long life, good health and continue to turn the dharma wheels.
Where is Manjushri’s Sword to use discriminating wisdom to cut through illusion? No picture I have seen of him is without it.
The flaming sword is on the lotus flower to the left.
Nice oil painted Manjushri from the 59 people from Malaysia. Offering this great Buddha painting is the same as offering the Buddha statues as it resembles the Buddha quality that we would like to attain. This is really a unique form of Manjushri and thanks to Wylfred care overseeing the entire process. It’s not easy to oversee from A to Z but through the dedication and the great motivation from the team it reach US in a wonderful condition.
Truly a blessed gift from the group.
Rejoice!
Such a beautiful painting as a gift to Rinpoche. Since Rinpoche received this picture of Manjushri he fell in love with it. I have witness and helped Rinpoche prepare many gifts to be sent to people overseas and domestic, it’s a very tiring job and its a very long process which not many people are aware of. The time and effort taken to go to a shop, choose a gift, pay for it, bring it back, organize it, label it, write letters/notes with it, package it, go to the post office, fill out the forms and send it, its not only time consuming but costly as well, but Rinpoche doesn’t care about all that because its in Rinpoche’s nature to give and keep giving. Keep in mind the hundreds/thousands of people Rinpoche knows and gives to constantly.
That’s why this beautiful gift from Wylfred and the many contributors Rinpoche understands the thought and effort put into it and that’s why he loves it even more. It’s not easy nor cheap to ship such a huge package over to the united states from malaysia. Great job guys, the thought and effort makes the gift even more beautiful.
Rejoice to Rinpoche to have a thoughtful student such as Wylfred and not forgetting the rest of 58 contributors. Rejoice to Wylfred that you shown care, initiative and devotions to our Guru.
I rejoice. These 59 people really have the Guru in their hearts. Like many they love the Guru and shows it through actions in their Dharma practice and also in their gift of love in this oil painting. We would continue to offer precious gifts to the Guru through transformation, Dharma work and material gift from the heart.
With folded hands!
I am happy that Rinpoche loves this painting of Manjushri. Yes, it was through Wylfred’s initiative that this painting was commissioned. He had the care and tenacity to follow it through by getting the busy artist to paint it.
May Rinpoche live long and continue to turn the Wheel of Dharma to benefit countless beings.
May we be blessed by Manjushri and be close to our Guru and Manjushri in all our lives.
Thank you Rinpoche.
Its SO beautiful,Rinpoche.I can feel the deep appreciation and love with which it was given and received.
What a colorful and beautiful painting of Manjushri!!! I rejoice for Wylfred for coordinating this beautiful work of art as well as to all the 49 sponsors who each contributed money towards this exquisite work of art!
Knowing how fragile a oil painting is and not forgetting how easily it can be smeared plus how rough the ground crew are when loading and unloading the cargo from planes I am really thankful and glad that this oil painting offered by Wylfred as well as a group of 49 others has survived thousands of miles of flying and has reached Rinpoche’s doorstep in one piece!
Also thumbs up to Ray Hoo Low Wei for painting such a beautiful painting. keep up the good work!
Enjoy the painting Rinpoche!
What a beautiful and thoughtful gift for Rinpoche. I rejoice at the kindness and care shown by Wylfred and the team. I am happy that Rinpoche is happy. 🙂
Oh, Manjushri with gentle eyes
You broadcast wisdom with your smiles
To melt the concretes of illusion
Regenerates my Big Foot connection
In Shambala where the view is magnificent
With my Guru enlightened in unison
Where it is real and the flickers of a television.
PS: A simple and short verse for Rinpoche. Hope Rinpoche will like it. Hee hee 🙂
Love,
Wendy
I like your poem Wendy! So beautiful
This is such a beautiful painting of Lord Manjushri, may we attain the highest wisdom of Manjushri and gain realization for Buddhahood
This painting of Manjushri is very beautiful. Manjushri bringing
so much love and care to you your Eminence Tsem Rinpoche Om Ah Ra Pa Tsa Na Dhi > thank you so
much for sharing your joy with us,
Oya
Nice Manjushri painting, the one Rinpoche said was painted in an Indian form. Great gesture from all 59 sponsors.
Just as Lord Manjushri is the supreme epitome of Lord Buddha’s mind that Rinpoche wants to achieve, Rinpoche is my / our supreme epitome of the guiding light that leads us out of samsara.
May Rinpoche live long to turn the wheel of Dharma.
🙂 🙂 🙂
Rejoice Wyfred and the team (thumbs up)
A sincere lovely offering may make Rinpoche have a Big Smile, nice to see Wyfred and the team always care to Rinpoche…
May Rinpoche happy always hence continue to turn the wheel of Dharma with stable health (with folded hands)
Wow, such a beautiful painting. Rinpoche was just saying that he would love to have this painting!
