Up all night
Pastor Loh Seng Piow and Justin looked like they stayed up the whole night with no sleep in this picture… in fact they did. They were working with me on my blog that whole night. They both got along very well and respected each other alot. It was nice to see how they worked together. Without Justin and Pastor Loh Seng Piow this blog would never have began and it would never have continued. They were with me from the beginning.
I woke up one day and called them to my room and said I WANT TO START A BLOG. Justin together with Pastor Loh Seng Piow started on registering a URL, getting the back end up and the millions of other things that had to be done for a blog you couldn’t imagine… since this blog’s inception, it was these two guys that worked very hard always.
Later more wonderful people came on board to work just as hard. Justin you are gone for now, but YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. You are in my prayers. Your ashes will be in a stupa on our retreat land and also in a large Manjushri statue to be placed in the Monastery. Thank you Justin for everything. Thank you Pastor Loh Seng Piow.
Thank you to all the people who get this blog to what it is…

A very Big ‘Thank You’ to both of them (Justin and Pastor Seng Piow). Without them, there will be no ‘us’ at all. I believe that there were many days where they looked like that! In fact, they worked tirelessly alongside with Rinpoche. What we can see now is the successfulness of this blog in bringing the Dharma to millions in the world, but we often forgotten the hardship or bitterness of those days that they have gone through. What a real and genuine friends to have!
It’s amazing to have them and I thank them from my heart, and especially to Pastor Seng Piow, who is now continuing to serve Rinpoche all day and night without fail. For Justin, may you be blessed by the Three Jewels and always be near to Dharma.
Thank you for sharing this picture, Rinpoche.
Yes, this blog has benefitted many, many people. Is is easy to access from anywhere and all the teachings, informations, videos … are free of charge.
Thank you for bringing Dharma in our homes and transforming our lives.
Thank you for staying up all night and making this possible.
May we be blessed to meet the Dharma in all our lives, from a young age.
With folded hands.
Rinpoche has taught everyone in kechara so well like Justin and Seng Piow.
People in Kechara people have helped so many people in every way.
If not for Rinpoche’s assistants this blog will not be here.
It is sad to say that Justin has passed away i am glad that he died near to Rinpoche.
Thank you Seng Piow and the blog team for making this amazing blog.
Justin may be gone but his works had benefited and touched the lives and hearts of many. Together with Seng Piow they had spent countless hours of sleepless night to ensure that we can learn the dharma conveniently through Rinpoche’s blog. This blog is a platform for us to learn the dharma; anytime and anywhere at our convenience.
Thank you, Rinpoche, for conceiving this idea and for Justin, Seng Piow and the hardworking team to work on it to make this blog so beneficial.
That was certainly a night to remember… Rinpoche just decided to come down from his apartment upstairs, and it was something like about 3 or 4am. Yes normal people would say “you guys are crazy” but guess what… we are hahaha and we are crazy to spread the Dharma. That was always Justin’s passion and wish. He knew that Dharma was something true and can really really benefit so many people… “if only they knew” he would tell me. Justin, never ever looked for fame or recognition, if there was anyone naturally sincere in the wish to help other and who is kind, he would be the person after Rinpoche haha. Yes Rinpoche he is truly a humble heart… this is so rare and this is why he is so well loved. He is always very quiet, and hardly speaks up but his actions sure speaks way louder than words. His Guru devotion and love for what he does – Dharma work. Something we can all learn from… definitely he is an irreplaceable being and will always be treasured. Thank you Rinpoche for all you have done for Justin. May he return quickly to continue his practice!
We always think that good works/things would take a much longer time to accomplish. Yes Justin and Seng Piow did worked through the whole night for the blog, it sounds ‘long’ but at the same time the speed was super fast. In Kechara, I always get to witness what my Dharma brothers and sisters did things/do things is the speed of light.
This doesn’t mean all of them are super excellent genius, but they are super committed to Rinpoche and the Dharma work! Many things could be done very easily if we commit. And for them, the best reward would be how people benefited from their works.
Without these 2 men, we would not have this platform to learn Dharma, to be so close to our Guru. They work tirelessly together with Rinpoche to deliver Dharma to people using the modern way. THANK YOU! Both of you have benefited so many people.
Justin, we shall see you soon.
Justin…may you rest in peace and have a good rebirth. We may not knew each other but from the sacrifices and great efforts you put into dharma, you were indeed a great human being. Om Mani Peme Hung.
Without them and Rinpoche, this blog will not be so successful and well known. Benefiting peopl all around the world!
Thank you Rinpoche, Justin, Seng Piow and everyone who contributed to the blog!
Justin, see you soon!
Justin, your hard work has paid off as thousands of people’s lives has been touched or transformed because of this blog. Your contribution will not be forgotten. May we find u up in the hills soon.
SP, your silence made a huge difference, U are the unsung hero.
Justin, you were always quietly going about doing so much with no fanfare: you did so much for Rinpoche and for Dharma. This blog, that has come to mean so much to countless people everywhere, would never have been without Rinpoche conceiving it and you and Seng Piow and many other unsung Dharma heroes working tireless to set it up and keep it going.
A big THANK YOU to you, Justin, and to all!
Thank you Rinpoche, JR and SP for bringing up this wonderful blog.
It was always great to work and be around Justin… really miss him.
Our ‘back-enders’ who worked tirelessly without making a big song and dance when the rest of us were in the comfort of our beds. These are the real heros of dharma. I salute your devotion to our Lama and the dharma. May I have the priviledge to work with you both now and in future, AND congregate at KWPC together!
Thank you Justin and thank you Seng Piow. If not for your efforts, those of us living abroad would be without the precious dharma teachings that Rinpoche gave. And fewer people would be connected to dharma globally.
Thank you Seng Piow and Justin for making this blog site the best religious blog site available. Thank you Rinpoche for having spent so much time thinking of interesting topics to post up. This site has kept all the members at kechara connected. Its really cool to hear members exchanging comments from this blog at the Gompa.
Justin, you are deeply missed. Hope to see you again when KWPC comes up. May the buddhas lead you back to us.
Thanks to SP & Justin UP ALL NIGHT and we get to learn dharma conviniently & instantly from Rinpoche through this wonderful blog, because of all your hard work and tireless efforts.
Justin, you are missed!
May we meet again at KWPC!
Our dear bro JUSTIN will be never forgotten. He worked very hard utill his last day for the dharma. he gave his every minute to spread Rinpoche’s teaching to the wrold. He always smile and get along with everybody. look today rinpoche’s blog has riched more then 1 million views. love u bro and will miss u always.
I remembered that night also. It was very historical and yet it did not feel like “work” for Seng Piow and Justin.
There are so many instances whereby Rinpoche has a feeling about an idea or project and if students just follow the instruction and follow through, you will see the benefits/results. Justin was one of them, and now this blog has benefitted so many people out there.
Now Justin’s widow, Joy is working in the Ladrang. Rinpoche wants her to be ok for the rest of her life. I know this is what Justin will be concern about and he will be happy to know that.
Thanks Justin and SP, for working tirelessly to make Dharma so easy for us to access.
For us that might not have many chances to learn Dharma, the website open up so many path for us to learn in different way. We can reach Rinpoche’s teachings so easily and the other way round.
Thanks SP for your continuous hard work, and Justin, we hope you meet the Dharma very soon. I will work hard too, I want to meet Justin in KWPC!
Yes, Rinpoche, Justin and Seng Piow are gems. They were a part of something that has benefitted so many and will continue to benefit many more as Rinpoche’s blog become world famous and get viewed by millions more people.
I am very grateful to Justin and Seng Piow as well as all the other people who work by Rinpoche day after day to ensure Dharma touches another soul. Such dedication and commitment are extremely rare.
Although it is sad to think that Justin is no longer here, it brings some peace to know that the time and effort he gave to serve Rinpoche and the Dharma would have purified his Karma (http://blog.tsemtulku.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/students-friends/blew-my-mind-away.html)and set him up for a good rebirth.
Thank you Rinpoche for being a great teacher to “cut” the “diamonds in the rough” into precious jewels of the 21st century.
Seng Piow and Justin are actually like brothers, i called them the “silent achiever”! They might not talk much but you know they have what it takes to make it happen … keyword: silently! hehe. Both of might seemed like a muscular buff hunks, but deep down inside they are full of care and love. I appreciate both of them a lot. Justin, you work is not done you think you can get away? see you at KWPC bro.
Ethan, I like what you coined here!!! Silent Achievers. That is what these two guys really are. Without these two, so many would not recieve the dharma. TR
Thank you very much Justin and Seng Piow. Your hard work benefit so many people. Thank you..!!!
Justin, you may be gone but you will be never forgotten!! Miss you!!
You will forever in our heart, no matter what!!! THANK YOU for your hard work and kindness!! Miss~~~~ xxx
Rinpoche always has wonderful ideas to help and benefit all sentients beings.Through the kindness of our Guru this Blog has reached out all over the world for people who wish to learn dharma especially in places where buddhism is difficult to find. Thank you Rinpoche and also not forgetting all the talented hardworking students who put in so much time and effort to make this BLOG a Hit!

Victor! You took the words right out of my mouth! Rinpoche’s blog had spread dharma far and wide, we can never imagine how many lives it has touched and, very likely, saved!
To all the silent heros behind the scene – THANK YOU!
Justin, you are ok and well and may not remember us now, but the work you’ve done and the many lives you have touched will remain forever. We were in retreats together and this week’s retreat, you are not with us…I can’t help but think of you and miss you dearly bro.
Thank you for having a great idea of a blog.
Thank you to Seng Piow and also Justin for the hard work you guys have put in to make this blog up and going. With such effort and commitment many people has benefitted from this website.
Thank you Justin & Seng Piow, and all who work hard to get Rinpoche’s blog up and running, to make the precious teachings of happiness be available for all no matter where they are, who they are.
Thank you Justin and Seng Piow for your hardwork! Although I never get to met Justin, it is because of both of their effort that when I first came to Rinpoche’s blog I was very impressed to see a very modern Guru writing and posting his thoughts on the Internet, very near to everyone of us.
JUSTIN RIPLEY
You may be gone but you remain within my heart
I miss the times albeit short we had together
I know you are well now and will be
You will find your way back to KWPC
Thank you Justin (wherever you are) and Seng Pow for your great contribution to this blog and Dharma. You are greatly missed Justin.
Now I cannot imagine life without this Rinpoche’s blog. Seng Piow, Justin and many others today provide this lifeline that keep so many people connected to posts that are in fact dharma teachings. Both Justin and Seng Piow look totally knackered but so filled with peace. Thank you Justin, SP and the blog team.
Justin, you worked quietly behind the scene always, you dont want fame, you dont need praise, you just did you job well for Rinpoche and the Dharma……..you sleeplesss night and hard work behind the scene has benefited so many people who are reading this blog.
May be you dont hear this now, but you are dearly missed and will be remembered always……….
Hope to see you in KWPC brother!
Margaret, you are so right!!! Justin really never wanted fame, recognition or praise. He always just did the work for the sake of the work getting done to benefit others…Very humble. TR
Yeah, I loved the idli breakfast with our great group.
Yes, Justin will not be forgotten, for his sincere and hard work. I still miss you bro…
It has been almost a year since our dear friend Justin passed away, and I still miss him from time to time… Many of the web sites that I am working on now are actually started by Justin and Seng Piow. I must say that I’m fortunate to be able to “inherit” the work from them and continue to work on website that serve others.
Seng Piow is another person who works hard behind the scene. He too never wants fame. Many of the newly joined people doesn’t even know there is such a person who takes such good care of Rinpoche.
I sincerely thank Justin and Seng Piow who tirelessly work behind the scene to serve others.
I remember that night. Many people stayed up for the first night of the blog, and we ended it with an indian idli breakfast party. Justin, you are missed.
