Setrap Sharing Session!
Last Tuesday, after the Chinese Setrap Puja, the Setrap puja group was invited to Kechara Care for a sharing session. Kechara Care organized a session where older students could share their experiences and imparted some dharma knowledge to those newer at Kechara. It was a very good platform for those newer, to be inspired by listening to real-life experiences and to have some of their questions answered. It was a very friendly and comfortable environment for individuals to express themselves.
The first session was hosted by Chia , who’s a knowledgeable senior student of mine. He shared with the group the role that Setrap plays in our daily lives, his real encounter with the protector and what a Dharma protector symbolizes and does.
The session started off with the new ‘”Kechara Moment” series: Life Changing Experience’ being shown to the group. The video shown was the 3rd one of the series, featuring Raymond Chu where he talks about how Setrap taught him generosity. After the video, a group discussion followed. Kechara Care plans to have sharing sessions once a week, each week in alternating languages both English and Chinese.

Wow, this paragraph is pleasant, my sister is analyziung these kinds
of things, therefore I am goking to inform her.
Kechara care is going to be developed into a multipurpose lounge for the Kechara members. Setrap sharing session was not done in the Gompa. In this case it is in Kechara Care lounge. Something very different. Chia the puja master of KH is the senior student of Tsem Rinpoche and was the personal assistant to Rinpoche for many years. He has recieved lots of teachings from Rinpoche. He is very knowledgeable and also he is a Tantrika. With Dharma sharing sessions in KC I am sure a lot of members will benefit from it. Members will like some place to relax and the same time to listen to Dharma. Then later have a Karaoke session.
