Overview
Located in e@Curve (previously known as Cineleisure Damansara), The Apartment offer their patrons a home style dining experience in one of the most happening place in Selangor.
Famously known for their unique interior that is very much like a well kept home by itself, The Apartment serves International cuisines that is so good, you’ll be planning your next visit after every meal!
With the cozy environment coupled with the amazing meals, The Apartment is an excellent chill out place for a relaxing evening dinner after a stressful day at work, or even as a family weekend outing destination.
The interior of the diner is beautifully planned out and designed. With every corner of the diner representing a very corner of an apartment, makes their patrons feel comfortable due to it’s homy representation.
The diner is conveniently and distinctly sectioned out to represent the concept of a living room, kitchen, a study room and even a bathroom! This is one place that allows you to enjoy your meal or drinks in any corner that you like!
For those that enjoy dining outdoors, there’s an al fresco dining section specially for those that prefers to have their meals under natural light.
The Apartment provides excellent service, so there is no need to worry as all patrons will be well taken care of no matter where they are seated.
This is an excellent place to enjoy a glass of The Apartment’s new range of Mocktails with a group of close friends.
The Apartment serves a variety selection of International cuisines. The diner provides some vegetarian selections on their menu which makes them a vegetarian friendly spot for those who wish to socialise with their friends and family that do not share the same vegetarian diet. Althought The Apartment does not provide a wide variety of vegetarian selections, the ones that are served are very well done.
The presentation of each dish is excellent and visually pleasing, adding to the flavour and satisfaction of one’s dining experience here.
For the nice ambience along with the delicious meals The Apartment has to provide, the pricing in this diner is extremely affordable and appropriate.
Some popular choices among vegetarian diners in The Apartment are the baked aubergine and andrew’s pasta; both at a very reasonable price of RM 9.90 and RM 16.90 respectively.
Although we’re not spoilt with vegetarian choices, the chef is always ever ready to work out a vegetarian serving by obmitting any meat content in a particular serving. The best thing about The Apartment is they guarantee there is no usage of artificial flavoring such as MSG. Now that’s a healthy option!
The Apartment is defenitely a must visit, whether it is to catch up with old time friends, or solely for the good food; either way, it will be an enjoyable visit.
Reviewer Rating
Interior – 3/5
The Apartment have a very calming and cozy atmosphere to begin with. The lighting inside the diner is very pleasing, it is neither too bright nor too dark. The air and temperature of the diner is also very well regulated, there are no locations that is excessively warm or cold. What is nice and unique about The Apartment is the layout and the furnishing of the diner which mimics a person’s home, this feature gives the patrons a homy feeling as if they’re dining at home or a friend’s place. All these factors made the visit to The Apartment very pleasant. However, the management should arrange for a place that is hidden to store their spare furnitures neatly instead of a place that is near the entrance.
Food – 4/5
The food is really good! Serving size is just nice, there was no need to struggle finishing one portion. The food was presented very neatly and in a very appetizing way. Although not spoilt with choices, all visiting vegetarians should try out their vegetarian specialty ‘Andrew’s pasta’ and appetizer ‘Oven-Baked Aubergine’.
Vegetarian selection – 2/5
Being a non-vegetarian diner, it is not a wonder that the selection for the vegetarian servings are very limited. There is hardly any choice unless it is personally request for the chef to remove any meat content on a particular pasta. There is much more room for them to improve in this area and to increase their vegetarian dish selections.
Pricing – 3/5
It is not too expensive, but it is not cheap either. Ordering a complete set of appetizer up to dessert plus a drink/mocktail can easily go up to RM 50 or more per person. However, the food does taste really good, and it is worth paying the price.
Service – 3/5
The staff are very friendly and ever ready to help. They have good knowledge of the menu and what the diner has to offer for vegetarians. The food was served in an acceptable time frame and the orders come almost all at once. However, the management should train their staff to be extra attentive to their customers, such as topping up drinks and getting the bill with speed!
Find your way there!

This review is pretty accurate. The restaurant was pretty cosy and quiet (my friends and I had a space to ourselves) but that was because the place was relatively empty haha as the reviewer noted, vegetarian options on the menu were few and far between which doesn’t make it a pleasant dining experience when you’re with carnivorous friends.
e@Curve has plenty of other F&B outlets which have more extensive vegetarian menus so The Apartment wouldn’t be our top dining choice. In general, there are plenty of other places for vegetarians to lend their patronage to, like Beyond Veggie where you can eat anything with peace of mind.
But it’s a good start for The Apartment. If they want to woo in the diners, I would suggest they get with the program as more and more people are taking up vegetarianism as their preferred dietary choice. I don’t think it would offend the carnivores to see more vegetarian options on the menu, and it certainly wouldn’t hurt business!
And have a good Apartment-cooked meal while you’re here. A great place to enjoy the good things in life, overlooking the KLCC park and fountains.
I would love to go here looks very interesting selection. Thank you to the review team and the owners of this restaurant for going beyond meat, and catering to vegetarians. Being vegetarian is not just a choices, it has many wide ranging effects on the environment and a person’s optimum health too.
This is a nice place to dine in with family or friends . Look at the interior design and feel like back to home , comfortable and relaxing. Will go to try it , thank you Rinpoche to share with us.
I have been to The Apartment before few times and I do like the ambient there. In many of these places which serves Italian cuisine especially, you can find many with vegetarian dishes even though it’s not spelled out. So when people think vegetarians are lacking of choices, think again, look at the menu again.
By the way, can I suggest the blog team to review Botanicals in Bangsar Village? It’s new and pure vegetarian. I think many people may want to know the food quality there. It is quite good i must say!
I like the environment, looked clean, cozy and comfortable. The food looks delicious,i will try those dishes if i am at e@curve.Taking vegetarian food is so much better than taking meat, less animals are killed for our pleasure!!
I like the name The Apartment. Sounded very friendly and sophisticated. I have been there before. It’s a very nice place to chill up with a cup of hot drink. I was sitting up stairs. The evening crowd was not bad. Since the review said the food is nice. I must go back there again to try their food.
I’ve been to the apartment twice… first time before becoming vegetarian and second time was after. the food on my first visit was good, it for a friend’s farewell party so didn’t hurt my pocket (hehe). Food wasn’t so good at my second visit (I saw Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz there with her family at that time though!) and I found it pricey! The interior is attractive but I wouldn’t go there again (if I had to pay).
I have been to apartment before. Didn’t really try out the food but i love the homey feel. I was there for reading actually and have some drinks. mmm….might visit this place again!
I like the restaurant enviroment and the place is reasonable.
Thank you for this review. I walked pass it many times but never try to dine there. Perhaps the next time I’m in eCurve, I will go in to try those dishes. This kind of reviews and really helpful to vegetarians who go shopping at bigger malls like the Curve.
Thank you for having this section on Restaurant Review. It comes in very handy on days when you need to eat out or just chill out with friends and don’t know where to go. The Apartment looks stylish yet homey and welcoming. Sure will try it our soon!
Wow…I love this category on food. Please post more 😀
