Facebook question: The Relationship between Lama Tsongkhapa and Maitreya Buddha
Question Series for my Fb Friends:
In doing the profound yet short practice of Tsongkapa Guru Yoga daily, what profound connections are made between Maitreya and Tsongkapa for you? Does that have anything to do with Powa (consciousness transference)?

Thank you Rinpoche for this profound teachings on the practice of Tsongkapa Guru Yoga. Watched the videos a few times so as I can understand much better . Very clear explanations about the relationship between Lord Tsongkapa and Lord Maitreya by Rinpoche. I have now learned the correct visualisation steps or rather correct techniques to be connected with Lord Tsongkapa. I will improve on the visualisations part.
With folded hands may Rinpoche stays healthy to continue turning the Dharma for the benefits of all sentient beings.
Thank you Rinpoche for the explanation
I always think that to reach up Kechara Paradise will be very difficult because need to have tantric practice. After listen to Rinpoche explanation giving me hope that we still have other option as long practice it sincerely. Once again thanks Rinpoche for the teaching (with folded hands)
謝謝仁波切在綫上對宗喀巴大師上師瑜伽修持法,沒有複雜的儀式,簡潔明了的解釋。我㑹用心修持此無上法门。
Thank you Rinpoche for the profound teaching. I hope I can do Guru Yoga Lama Tsongkapha properly with good motivation, good focus and concentration to collect merits and also to purify my negative karma so that I can progress my spiritual path smoothly and learn to benefit others.
Dear Rinpoche,
Thank you for such a condensed version of the relationship between Lord Tsongkapa and Lord Maitreya. I have realised i done my visualisation wrongly.
With this, I will follow Rinpoche’s visualisation technique and concentrate on this Powa practice.
Thank you. May I have the connection to meet and learn more from Lord Maitreya in my future lives, and may I always be close to my Guru, Tsem Rinpoche.
The Guru Yoga is a very very complete practice, it is good for any beginner wishing to do sadhana practice, someone who wishes to start collecting merits which is so essential for our spiritual progress and also the purification in order that that spiritual path is smooth and is not stunted. This practice is also beneficial to support us to engage in the 3 higher trainings which is ethics, concentration and the helps us to develop our wisdom. Finally if at the end of our lives we have not achieved enlightenment during this life, we must remember the cloud string that leads all the way to Maitreya heaven.
Thank you for sharing this information on the relationship between Lama Tsongkapa and Maitreya Buddha. It was very well explained Rinpoche and thank you for going through the trouble of answering for the sake of us. And i really like this idea of people asking questions about Dharma online. This gives everyone the chance to reach the Dharma and gather information.
Thank you so much for answering this interesting question. Facebook has indeed become a modern and effective way to spread the Dharma.

I have to gear up my practice as well. This is profound yet simple to do for everyone, no complicated rituals. All it takes is our daily committment.
