Time to relax audio… play it…
Dear Friends,
The sounds of nature are very relaxing when you need to unwind. What I usually do after blogging or a long day is to play one of these videos in the background. I can listen to them while reading a book, or doing my Sadhana, or just reclining and resting my eyes after staring too long at the computer. This is for your relaxing pleasure… as my blog friends you deserve this treat from me…
Here are some of my favourites to share with you… kick back, unwind and enjoy.

Natural sounds are all very soothing, relaxing and has calming effect. Usually instructor will play such music when we do yoga practise especially during the last session to relax our body. I like the sound of water and bird. I always think when the birds are chirping meaning they are in happy mode.

Thank you Rinpoche for all the great music. It is just so nice to just listen and chill with them while one does their work. It is just so relaxing. The whole feeling as I listened to them while I work, is just so different. I feel so much lighter and I am able to be ore focused on my work.
Thank you Rinpoche for this lovely, relaxing sounds of nature. It is very calming. I remembered when Rinpoche took us to Bali to see the environment and get ideas for KFR… every morning Rinpoche would call us in to Rinpoche’s room and asked us to do a powerful morning meditation where we breath and focus and be aware on the whole entire surroundings. The sounds of the birds, the breeze going through the leaves on the trees, the water flowing, the beauty we see from the plants, the scent of the jasmines and flower herbs… All the 5 senses we absorb, we become aware, we experience and all this we offer it up to the Buddhas, Lama Tsongkhapa, Tara, Vajrayogini etc and we offer it up, release our attachments. We visualise all this offerings is happily, joyfully received by the divine Buddhas and they are happy and pleased and bestows upon us their blessings of attainments of compassion and wisdom. And then we sealed it with a powerful dedication in appreciation of this precious human life that is able to be fit to do Dharma. In clarity and light may we all abide. Thank you Rinpoche 🙂
Thank you Rinpoche for sharing with us these beautiful raining sound. I like rainy day. I live in Taiping, a place called Rain Town until I was 21. I like to get wet in the rain. Some times, a few of my childhood time friends and I will walk in the rain after playing badminton not far away from home. Those days was fun, I wonder where are my childhood time friends now. In KL, no one likes rain because it will cause terrible traffic jam.
I like nature sound especially rain dripping on the ground & also after raining we can hear the bird singing & sitting quietly reading a book. Anyway thanks for sharing.

Love the sound of rain, that sound makes me feel so so very peaceful I probably had many existences as an animal in the past 🙁 . Rain is that one thing which does it for me, love the rain when I am indoors. Thank you rinpoche the music is very soothing to the mind.
Nothing is more soothing and calming than the sound of nature.
Thank you, Rinpoche 🙂
Thank you, Rinpoche, for all these relaxing music. It is so therapeutic to listen to the sound of nature. It has a soothing and calming effect. When I close my eyes, I am transported to a different world…..from the hustle and bustle of the city to the lush green mountains. May all of us enjoy these sound of nature in Kechara World Peace Center in the near future.

For me, the ideal setting and surrounding would be for my senses.
It would be in a lush area with trees and underbrush, some flowering plants.
In the distance would be a high hill or a mountain range.
Nearby where I sit would be a stream with water gently flowing over rocks with the light sound of water falling over some small rocks. The air would be cool, crisp and fresh and I would be able to catch a faint whiff of sweet smell of flowers from nearby flowering shrubs.
The chirping of birds, not screeching sounds, occasional sound of insects like cicada, rustling of tree leaves where squirrels and monkeys go about foraging for food.
This setting would be perfect for me to sit on a huge rock and soak in all the beautiful sounds, look at the trees and stare out at the distant hill/mountain range.
I wonder if KWPC land would have this type of natural setting, I wonder….
Dear Rinpoche,
I find it hard to relax or go to sleep with these calming sounds. I prefer going to sleep watching football or Formula one. Is it because my mind is too jumpy??

I tried taking a catnap to one of the clips above, it’s soooo relaxing… until the blog chat box notification sound goes ‘bloop’! lol

Happy Relaxing 🙂
Dear Rinpoche,
Thank you so much for these delightful sounds. They are so calming, soothing and relaxing. I particularly love the sound of rain, which is the first one. I dunno why but it gives me a very warm feeling just to listen to rain splattering away and soft growling sounds of the thunder and lightning in the background. These are definitely great offerings to the Buddha and to our practice as it helps us to focus during our Sadhanas and basic meditations.
I like the Amazon Rainforest one. The crickets make me happy… hehe
I need these audio very badly to calm my mind. Thank you Rinpoche for sharing the audio on the blog.
I like the sound of the rain and storm best. It gives me a sense of melancholy. During rainy days, I love to spend my time reading with a cup of hot drink. Nice!
The sound of nature is so therapeutic. To be able to wake up to it and go to sleep with the sound of nature surrounding you. One day we will all be able to enjoy these live, not from a cd or mp3. It will be in KWPC, 24 7! I just cant wait! But for now, back to downloading from youtube……..
Thank you Rinpoche for this sharing.
Oh I love all these Rinpoche! Thank you for always thinking about your students and friends.
These sound tracks bring us to a totally different world even we are right smack in the concrete city center. It is amazing how the sound of nature can bring so much serenity and inner peace when we listen to it. It just prove that we actually are more at peace when we are back to the arms of nature.
There was a US research center that actually sells these CDs on line and claims that after listeneing to any of these sounds of nature consistently for about an hour a day for say 3 months, the person will develope much awareness and inner reflection and realisation will come through. For example, a person who has anger management problem will find it easier to control his temper.
Well, for me, when I listen to it, I am in a different world totally….a beautiful world that only imagination can reach.
Thank you Rinpoche!
Thank you, Rinpoche. I am listening to wonderful sounds of nature now and I have the urge to do something creative. Hahah… I will make something now and deliver it in a few days. So amazing nature is! 🙂
Thank you so much for this, it has really helped me be not so nervous about going to my appointment, and to step back and breathe. Also, Happy LOSAR!!! (As I am in the USA, it is losar here, but you are in Malaysia so happy belated losar!)
The right song can put anybody in a better mood and soothe emotional turmoil. We all go through our phases, and most people will turn to certain songs to improve our moods. The main reason behind this phenomenon is that music has the ability to verbalize and express our feelings better than any other medium. Additionally, we have favorite songs for particular situations because we tune into the melodies that capture our vibe the best.
To enhance the music of nature here, identify the relationship between our emotional state and music; try associating music uploaded by Rinpoche here with your moods. In this way, you will know exactly which music to listen to in order to give you the lift or calm you need at a partcular time.
nice nature sound that we always miss!

Generally, music has a close link to spirituality. Spiritual music enlightens our mind and inspires us to delve deep within our soul. Spiritual music can help us to relax, calm the mind, and enter into meditation. It is said that when we listen to soulful music, immediately our inner existence climbs high, higher and highest and enters into something beyond. Some soulful music makes us feel like a river flowing through us, a river of consciousness, which is at all time illumined. “If we can listen to music with our heart, it really awaken it to the innermost aspiration to dwell in the higher realms of consciousness,” as said by the greatest composer of music, Beethowen. By exploring the world of sound and music, one can find new ways to feel better and be restful and peaceful in life.
Thank you so much Rinpoche for this, and Happy New Year!
