Byzantine Art Form of Saint Dorje Shugden
Dear friends around the world,
I recently commissioned a very special image of the Dharma protector Dorje Shugden in an Indian style. I like art a lot, especially spiritual art, and another style of art that I like is the old Byzantine style. Although very different from either Indian or Tibetan art, it is unique and something that really invokes something spiritual in those who see it. Just like Tibetan art, Byzantine art also has a lot of meaning behind how the figures are drawn and represented. Throughout European history Byzantine art has been a sacred form of connection with the divine, and icons have been venerated and worshipped for centuries. It is with this in mind that I would like to present you with something as equally precious and divine as before, and that is a Byzantine form of Dorje Shugden. It is simply stunning, accurate and is in keeping with the iconographic representations of the divine from Europe. I have included this image here for all of you, so you can download, print out and place on your altar or simply hang up for divine blessings.
Dorje Shugden’s practice was taught to me by most holy gurus and I share this practice whenever I can. And the reason for this is simple. I personally benefited from the practice and so have many people around the world I have heard from. His practice can brings spiritual fulfillment, he aids us on our spiritual transformation. At the same time, he grants us what we need on this spiritual journey like material resources, wealth, health, influence and removes obstacles and all forms of negativity. His practice can protect us from charms, magic and negative occult influences. Also negative entities are pacified when we invoke upon Dorje Shugden. I was told when Dorje Shugden’s prayer is done and his image placed in haunted places, it pacifies the place. Dorje Shugden can help us in many ways when rely on him and we do not need to be in any religion or be a Buddhist. Even atheists may invoke upon Dorje Shugden as his compassion is open to help all. Although he can help us in many ways, he is ultimately for helping us stay on the spiritual path to become a fully enlightened being. Therefore, I have included a short prayer that you can engage in every day to see a magnificent shift in the way you live your life.

What is Byzantine Art?
Byzantine art is an art form that stems from Europe and has its roots in the Byzantine Empire, also known as the Eastern Roman Empire which began in around 330 CE and ended around 1453 CE. It is also an art form in countries that were culturally influenced by this once great empire. This empire arose as the Roman Empire diminished, and spanned various kingdoms in Eastern Europe and the Islamic states in the east of the Mediterranean. This historic form of art has been central to many of the Christian traditions in Europe, including the Greek Orthodox and Russian Orthodox Churches in their representations of the divine beings. Countries where this form of art is still preserved today include Greece, Cyprus, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Russia and other Eastern Orthodox countries.
This form of art was traditionally used to adorn and decorate the wall of churches and grand cathedrals. However it has become synonymous with the painting of religious icons, and now is not only found in churches but in homes and museums all around the world.
While the traditional art forms of the ancient European cultures such as ancient Greece and ancient Italy were more drawn to art that tried to match reality as much as possible, Byzantine art is different. Rather than trying to mimic reality, it is much more symbolic in approach. That is the reason it may look strange to a lot of people, but knowing the symbolism behind the art form and the meaning will allow you a better appreciation.
Iconography and Symbolism in Byzantine Art
Byzantine art is all about portraying the divine. Since the divine is so much beyond the human mind until we reach that same state, the art form developed a very specific style of representation. Below is just a small snippet of the symbolism that Byzantine art adheres to:
- The basis of all Byzantine art is light and this light emanates from the centre of the image. This light is symbolic of existence.
- Painting begins with the dark and medium tones of various shades, on top of which is painted the brighter colours. This is so the central figure is seen to shine from within.
- In real Byzantine art there will be a lack of background images. If there is a background it is usually buildings that are distorted or proportionally wrong, or a simple mountain landscape. This is because the background should show a lack of space and time (timelessness). That is the reason why buildings and the like are distorted. The most common background is a solid gold, which represents enlightenment and eternity.
- The main figure depicted in Byzantine art is always bigger than anything else in the painting, to show the figure is the central image.
- In Byzantine art you can see figures in the background that are bigger than the ones in the foreground. You can also see saints on horses who are equal in size with the horse, highlighting the disproportion mentioned above.
- As it is highly symbolic, proportions within the art form are based on priority. This may make the image seem unreal but the art form developed as a form of spiritual expressionism centuries before other art styles.
- Proportions within the Byzantine art form are altered to highlight a specific spiritual quality. For example facial features such as ears are longer than usual, lips are thin, eyes are big and noses are very big. This is to show that the deity is “bodiless” even though the art form is depicting the deity’s body. None of the figures have muscular or curvy tones. In fact, it is as if to say that the body is just like a piece of clothing, that can be discarded at any time. It is the divinity behind the clothing which is the actual aspect that the artist is trying to convey.
Dorje Shugden
Protector of Kindness, Wealth and Peace
The world we live in today is increasingly filled with problems and complications. We are constrained with daily routines that have us struggling against time, we face conflict with others and with ourselves, and we continuously have to just make do with what we have and what we can get instead of what we want. We are rarely truly happy.
Can we find the joy of living in the world today? Has true happiness become only a concept? Can we learn ways to manage modern living so we have time for ourselves and for things that bring us joy? Can we reduce inter-personal conflicts that drain our energy? Can we make our lives richer and have our wishes fulfilled? Yes, we can.
Happiness comes from having the knowledge and abilities to overcome the interferences in our daily lives that obstruct us from attaining our goals and becoming happy. Wisdom sets us free and when we are free, we are happy. True happiness comes from having wisdom.
The enlightenment from having wisdom which sets us free and makes us truly happy is not an unattainable concept or idea. It is very real and practising Dorje Shugden is one of the swiftest ways for us to bring true happiness into our lives.

A Short Prayer to Dorje Shugden
A Daily Request for Wealth, Peace and Protection
This daily prayer to Dorje Shugden was composed by H.E. the 25th Tsem Rinpoche on Thursday, 26 February 2015 at 2:03am. Anyone may engage in this prayer without specific permission, regardless of faith and in combination with any other practice. Dorje Shugden helps all beings without labels of religion, race, creed or background.
In the heavens there are myriad manifestations of the divine. All those manifestations specifically show us different aspects of divinity in order to be of benefit to all living beings. All the rupakaya forms of the divine have compassion, skillful means and wisdom. We invoke upon them whether we are happy, sad, down, lost, fulfilled, confused, empty, and during the whole range of emotions we constantly experience due to an untrained mind.
Understanding our nature, Great Wisdom Being Dorje Shugden, therefore all the more so, please hold us close to your bosom as an only child to a parent.
Though the manifestations of the divine need no offerings and gifts from us, we offer you supreme Manjushri Dorje Shugden a libation of tea, incense and mantras, in order to ask you to bless us, to be a part of our lives, to abide in our dwellings and to give us signs, omens and portents of both good and bad. When the negative arises, quell them immediately. Please increase the positive for my weary and worn mind as I lay my hopes in you.
When difficulties, problems and confusion arise, we ask you, who is but the culmination of all that is powerful, holy and omniscient to bless myself, family, loved ones, environment and even my pets. May I see wisdom, find hope, and be at peace.
I request you, O Divine Protector Dorje Shugden, who wears a round dome hat and the three robes of a saffroned bhikshu, who wields a sword of liberty, justice and wisdom and clutches a wish-fulfilling jewel, who rides on a supreme lion of subjugation of all that is negative, to fulfill my wishes. I understand my wishes may not be the best, so I surrender to your wisdom for the outcome though it may not be what I have in mind. Please bless myself and everyone that we may enter into the supreme city of liberation.
Great Protector Dorje Shugden, I request you sincerely from my heart to be a part of my life, bless my home, and grant me wisdom, solace and comfort, that I might be of service to others without agenda, and that I may focus out onto others and not be fixated on myself, creating more problems for all that I hold dear.
Bless me to become kinder, wiser, more compassionate, tolerant and very forgiving to all those who hurt and love me. In order to become close to you, Dorje Shugden, we must surrender the banal. We must abandon fixed views, projections and rigidity. Lastly, in my final moment when I leave this plane of existence, only the positive actions I have done will matter as everything and everyone will be left behind. Let me realise this and act upon this now! At this crucial moment, please may I have a vision of yourself, the powerful and merciful Dorje Shugden, to take me to where I may course in the sky to continue my journey of spiritual waxing.
I offer you saffron-coloured tea and my faith to fulfill my prayers and gain siddhis. By reciting your mantra, may healing, peace, love, long life, protection and perfect view of sunyata arise.
Mantra of Fulfillment, Peace and Wisdom:
OM BENZA WIKI BITANA SOHA
It is good to recite this mantra one rosary or more per day. Occasionally, engage in retreats where you recite the mantra 100,000 times or more per year, every year.

Dear friends,
Tibet has produced many powerful meditations, rituals and guidelines to help us gain spiritual protection, gain wisdom and higher states of consciousness. In general Tibet has produced many powerful methods for the growth of our spiritual evolution. Dorje Shugden is an angel, a saint, a powerful spiritual protector-warrior who originated 350 years ago when a highly awakened Tibetan Lama fulfilled his vows to become a special being to grant protection, wisdom, material needs, safety when travelling (normal and astral travel) and spiritual awakening. Both the Great 5th Dalai Lama and the current His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama composed short yet effective prayers to invoke upon the power and blessings of this special saint and protector. One can recite either one of the prayers that you feel suits you, anytime or even daily. When you feel a special need for help, you can recite either prayer anytime. When you are feeling down, afraid or just need a blessing, you can recite them. After reciting either invocation, it is good to chant the mantra of Dorje Shugden: Om Benza Wiki Bitana Soha.
You do not have to be a Buddhist or practitioner of any religion to invoke upon the blessings and protection of this special enlightened and awakened angel Dorje Shugden. He helps all without discrimination or bias as he is filled with compassion and love. Divinity has no boundaries, they help all who call upon them.
Enclosed are the prayers in English, Chinese and Tibetan.
May you be safe, protected and blessed.

Divination (‘mo’) Text by Dorje Shugden
This is an important divination (‘mo’) text composed by Dorje Shugden himself. Dorje Shugden took trance of the Choyang Dulzin oracle lama, the senior oracle of Gaden Shartse Monastery, and instantly on the spot composed this text within two hours.
The divination text contains information on how to use dice to do divination for the future and is known to be highly accurate. When practitioners use this text, they will be in direct contact with Dorje Shugden to get answers to questions about the future. It is for those who have good samaya with Dorje Shugden and are free of the eight worldly dharmas to be of benefit to others in divining the future.

His Holiness the 10th Panchen Lama
Tibetans commonly refer to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and His Holiness 10th Panchen Lama as the “sun and moon” of Tibetan Buddhism. They are the center of Tibetan Buddhist civilization, which draws to its sphere of influence millions of non-Tibetan practitioners. The Panchen Lama’s incarnation line began with the 16th abbot of Tashi Lhunpo Monastery, Lobsang Chokyi Gyeltsen (1570 – 1662). He was bestowed the title of Panchen Lama by His Holiness the 5th Dalai Lama after being declared as an emanation of Amitabha.
After being given the title, his three previous incarnations were posthumously also bestowed the title, making Lobsang Chokyi Gyeltsen the 4th Panchen Lama. He became a teacher to many Tibetans, Bhutanese and Mongolian religious figures, including His Holiness the 4th and 5th Dalai Lamas, and the 1st Jetsun Dampa of Mongolia. A prolific author, Chokyi Gyeltsen is credited with over a hundred compositions, including a number of commentaries and ritual texts that remain central in the Gelukpa tradition today. Along with his role as a teacher of the Dharma, the Panchen Lamas are usually responsible for the recognition of the rebirths of the Dalai Lamas, and vice versa.
The 10th Panchen Lama, Lobsang Trinley Lhundrub Chokyi Gyeltsen (19 February 1938 – 28 January 1989) continued both the spiritual and political roles of his predecessors. His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, his contemporary, was even heard to say and echo the Panchen Lama’s own words that the Dalai Lama would safeguard Tibet from the outside while the Panchen Lama would safeguard Tibet from the inside, as he never left Tibet after the political troubles of 1959. He was truly loved by the Tibetans, all the way until his passing. When he taught, thousands of people would attend, not only from his own Gelug lineage, but masters and practitioners from all traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.
At his sprawling monastery of Tashi Lhunpo, he has a special chapel specifically dedicated to Dorje Shugden, where prayers and rituals are performed on a daily basis. In his great omniscience the Panchen Lama held Dorje Shugden as the principal Dharma protector of the monastery. He also personally propitiated Dorje Shugden among other Dharma protectors, and even wrote extensive prayers and rituals to Dorje Shugden. These rituals and prayers are contained within his ‘sung bum’ or collected works, which are provided here. As such a great lama, with an erudite and clear understanding of the Buddhist scriptures, a teacher to millions in both Tibet and China, from an established incarnation line and an emanation of the Buddha Amitabha, he could not be mistaken about his practice of Dorje Shugden.
His Holiness 10th Panchen Lama is known for his composition of commentaries and practice texts that are still in use by contemporary Buddhist practitioners both in Tibet and across the world. One of these is a powerful ritual composition propitiating the compassionate Dorje Shugden.
Upon the request by Acharya Lobsang Jangchub to compose a shorter version of the prayer (sadhana) for the exhortation of activities of Dorje Shugden, Panchen Lama immediately composed an abbreviate form of Dorje Shugden’s Kangsol. This text is entitled “Manjunatha’s (Tsongkapa) Lineage protector Dorje Shugden and five forms wrathful propitiations and confessional prayers and fulfilment of activities rites” or “Melodious sound of Accomplishment of the Four Activities” for short. Once the prayers were completed, he had signs and strong feelings that Dorje Shugden has been working hard to protect the Buddhadharma in general and the lineage of Lama Tsongkhapa specifically.
Mirroring the abilities of one of his earlier incarnations, Khedrub Je, a disciple of Lama Tsongkhapa and master of both sutra and tantra, the Panchen Lama used his compositional skill and poetic prowess to create a masterful sadhana. Worthy of note is a praise in which the first letter of each verse is a Tibetan vowel. Such compositions are rarely seen, and have historically only been used when propitiating senior Dharma protectors such as Palden Lhamo and Kalarupa.
The Panchen Lama also stated that while composing the Dorje Shugden sadhana (prayers) he was filled with a sense of happiness and bliss. He ends the composition with not only his official title but his ordination name, Tenzin Trinley Jigme Choje Wangchuk, endorsing the validity of his work. He composed the sadhana in his own Tashi Lhunpo monastery while in the Hall of Clear Light and Bliss.

For the first time available, Dorje Shugden and his entourage of 32 asssistants of his mandala.
Dorje Shugden is a powerful protector deity who is also an emanation of Manjushri, a wisdom bestowing Buddha. Therefore, he has great ability to help us to progress further on the spiritual path. He does this by helping us to overcome obstacles and problems for the modern individual.
Due to his enlightened nature, Dorje Shugden is able to manifest 32 deities and within the same abode resides Setrap and Kache Marpo:-
1. 5 Dorje Shugden families or emanations. They consists of the following:-
– Dulzin Dorje Shugden, which performs activities to eliminate inner and outer obstacles.
– Shize, which performs activities to pacify all illnesses and disease.
– Gyenze, which performs activities to increase all desirable material and spiritual wealth.
– Wangze, which performs activities to control difficult people and circumstances.
– Trakze, which performs activities to wrathfully eliminate all insurmountable obstacles and life-threatening situations.
2. 9 Mothers. They represent protection of the five senses and developing control of the four elements. These are all attributes that signify their ability to assist tantric practitioners with their higher meditations.
3. 8 Guiding Monks. They represent the Eight Great Bodhisattvas (Avalokitesvara, Manjushri, Vajrapani, Samantabhadra, Maitreya, Kshitigarbha, Akashagarbha, Sarva-nivarana-viskambini) and they bring about the growth of the Dharma, through the Sangha, Dharma practitioners and Dharma establishments.
4. 10 Youthful & Wrathful Attendants. They represent the ten wrathful attendants to avert inner and outer obstacles. They are beings who are from Mongolia, China, Kashmir, India, Bengali, etc.
5. Setrap. He is a senior Dharma Protector from India and an emanation of Amitabha Buddha. He had enthroned Dorje Shugden as an authentic Dharma Protector. Therefore, he also resides within the same mandala of Dorje Shugden.
6. Kache Marpo. He is not an emanation of Dorje Shugden but he is still an enlightened Dharma Protector in his own right. He was originally known as Tsiu Marpo of Samye Monastery. However, he has placed himself under the service of Dorje Shugden as his chief minister, performing many activities in order to protect and benefit practitioners. Therefore, he stands guard at the main entrance of Dorje Shugden’s mandala. He often takes trance of qualified mediums to speak.
7. Namkar Barzin. He is the reincarnation of an old Mongolian monk and when he passed away in Phari area of Tibet, his spirit was placed as a powerful assistant of Dorje Shugden. He guards and protects buildings and great institutions especially those that benefit others. He rides on a mythical Gyaling animal that resembles a goat but with scales.

This elderly & innocent monk in India was brutally attacked, find out why. Shocking – https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/?p=163953
“If the Dalai Lama, if His Holiness the Dalai Lama can be harmed by Dorje Shugden, then we might as well not practice Buddhism anymore. If His Holiness the Dalai Lama can have his life shortened by a so-called evil spirit, any evil spirit, then can he be Avalokiteshvara? So on one hand you say, we say, I say, everybody says, he is Avalokiteshvara; on the other hand you’re saying that he can be harmed by an evil spirit… Which one is it? Can he be harmed by an evil spirit or is he Avalokiteshvara? Do you think Avalokiteshvara, Manjushri, Vajrapani, Tara all take refuge in something else to protect themselves from Dorje Shugden? How illogical is that? How illogical of people to say His Holiness the Dalai Lama can be harmed by an evil spirit, any evil spirit or “Dorje Shugden” evil spirit. How is that possible?” – Tsem Tulku Rinpoche

Antique Pelden Lhamo thangka with sacred Dorje Shugden at the bottom right. Can see Tsongkapa and Guru Rinpoche on the top also. Beautiful and holy.
I like the Byzantine art style. The very first time I look at the pictures, it looks so classic and unique. Thank you Rinpoche for sharing the background of Byzantine art, something I will not purposely go find out since I am not really an art/painting person. May many people be benefited and be blessed with the many Dorje Shugden art styles that Rinpoche have commissioned.
We should fulfil the will of His Holiness the Dalai Lama for an autonomous Tibetan state.
Dear friends,
This meme is powerful. Who you hang around with and the types of attitude they have is who you will be influenced by many times and who you will become in the future. Look at your friends and the people that always surround you to know who you will become.

Recently Beng Kooi and Martin on behalf of myself and Kechara was lucky to have audience with His Holiness Gaden Trisur Rinpoche Jetsun Lungrik Namgyal of Gaden Shartse Monastery. He lives in around Paris, France. His Holiness is 91 years old and very healthy and alert. He was the 101st throne holder for Tsongkapa and was the head of the Gelugpa school of Buddhism and was very successful during his tenure. He is a strong practitioner of both Sutra and Tantra of Je Tsongkapa’s tradition and a master of all Buddhist knowledge. He holds steadfast to his protector Dorje Shugden very strongly. So we can see even the highest throneholders who are masters of Sutra and Tantra also practices Dorje Shugden knowing the benefits.
Beng Kooi and Martin brought photo albums of Kechara Forest Retreat/Kechara and updates on Kechara and our works. His Holiness was very pleased to listen and offered some gifts back.
This is a beautiful picture and the great blessings bestowed on us from His Holiness Gaden Trisur Rinpoche Jetsun Lungrik Namgyal.
Humbly,

Great message every Tibetan especially must read!
This the way change the perception about Dorje Shugden for the western culture. Shock and amazing equality to western religion.
I was instantly drawn to such art. When I was younger used to see Byzantine art in many of Europe’s history and their depiction of divinity.
Many churches in Russia and Eastern Europe probably still have this much of these art preserved. May many more people be attracted to Dorje Shugden via such adaptations.
How would you like to get one piece of this beautiful piece of art?
Yes, Rinpoche…it’s really beautilful and unique ???
Dear Rinpoche,
Your are really amazing, spreading Tibetan Dharma Protector by depicted in Byzantine art. This will sure to attract more westerner.
Do hope that Dorje Shugden will be able to spread to every part/conner of this world and benefit all sentient being.
With folded hands,

Thank you, Rinpoche, for showing us that the form of enlightened being is versatile and can be presented in many manners to suit the preference/culture of the people. Like Buddha, who used skillful means to expound Dharma knowledge in 84,000 ways, so that people from different background, culture, creed, and level can be shared the wisdom which will set us free and give us real and lasting happiness.
This is history in the making – first Tibetan deity depicted in Byzantine art. This art is incredibly unique. How nice it will be to have a chapel dedicated to Lord Dorje Shugden all in the form of Byzantine art.
Wow!! This is really extraordinary and imaginative art! Really out of my imagination. Since last night i have been observing and noticed the traffic feeds has many people from around europe visiting this post. I hope Dorje Shugden practice will spread to all directions! Rinpoche and blog team are so wonderfully imaginative!???
Great explanation to Byzantine art. Never knew much about art except that I find some more pleasing than others. This explanation will definitely help in understanding the divine art especially Byzantine art where each aspect holds a meaning and representation.
From now on, I will look at divine art with a totally new and fresh perspective.
So, even education and knowledge as simple as this is so powerful and important, what more in other areas of religion and spirituality. Thank you for this eye-opening teaching.
Thank you Rinpoche for presenting and sharing the form of Dorje Shugden in Byzantine art with us. This is my first time learning about Byzantine art through Dorje Shugden and it is an eye opener for me that Byzantine art can dwell perfectly into the form of Dorje Shugden, which can also depict that Dorje Shugden is a universal Dharma Protector for all sentient beings. All human races regardless of different backgrounds, cultures, religions or nationalities, deserves to be blessed with happiness, peace and protected from any harm and danger, which can cause unwanted suffering and pain subsequently. Dorje Shugden is the one which arose as enlightened Dharma Protector nearest to our time, in order to guide and lead us effectively towards the way of achieving higher attainment and ultimately enlightenment, which can set us free from samsara.
May all sentient beings from every corner of the world able to be connected with Dorje Shugden and be free from all the karmic bounds through the practice of Dharma and virtuous deeds.
Thank you with folded hands,
kin hoe
What an interesting post about Byzantine art! I always thought the paintings looked strange and disproportionate and now I know why. It was a deliberate choice on the part of the artist to depict divinity in that manner. Much like Tibetan art, Byzantine art focuses on how to present the enlightened essence and nature of the central figure. It feels very different to other forms of art that focus on capturing the physical attributes of the subject. Thank you Rinpoche for making this incredible image of Dorje Shugden available to everyone ?
Well I’m surprised! I’m Greek & I’ve never seen a painting like this before, very beautiful indeed! The prayer though is very similar to the one of archangel Michael ?
Hi Chrissa, thank you for your comment! Glad you find the painting beautiful! Divinity is universal and I’m happy we were able to successfully apply the principles of Byzantine art, which is so rich with symbols, to this one particular manifestation of the divine ?
During my previous visit to Moscow I have seen forms of Byzantine art in the churches and have found them to be appealing.
It is amazing how well Dorje Shugden fits into this art form. Upon seeing this spiritual and religious art of Dorje Shugden truly makes me realise that Dorje Shugden is suitable for all beings on earth.
I salute Rinpoche’s ingenuity to benefit people across borders and boundaries.
I used to love (and still do!) admiring the stunning stained glass and other Byzantine art forms that adorn old cathedrals and churches around Europe. Am truly happy to see my beloved Protector depicted in an art form that is foreign yet staying true to the essence of his iconography.
I just remembered the many stunning Byzantine style mosaic art of Jesus and other significant Christian figures in Hagia Sophia, Istanbul and I think it would be so awesome to have a Buddhist version of such works of art featuring Dorje Shugden and other Buddhas.
Thank you so much for this stunning divine art. Totally loving it!?
Rinpoche really makes Dorje Shugden approachable and affable!
This form of art work really resonates with me on the western form of arts and culture.. really is something that I always witness during my trips into European churches and cathedral.
I do wish Lord Dorje Shugden can be recognised by so many other nationalities and religions as he is really a great Protector of our lifetime! ☺️
Dear Rinpoche,
Thank you for giving to us this beautiful arts of St. Dorje Shugden in Byzantine style.
And also the prayers that Rinpoche have composed to help us.
Love this art

Thank you Rinpoche for this beautiful and creative piece of art that will bring the light of Dorje Shugden to many more people in the west. I like how this image of Dorje Shugden remains true to both the Byzantine art tradition and the Tibetan spiritual tradition. It makes a lot of sense to say that it doesn’t matter what style is used to depict a deity – as long as the essence is there (in this case his iconography and the meaning behind it), the power and purpose of the holy image is served.
Dear friends around the world, Please do print out this stunning Byzantine St. Dorje Shugden in glossy format and the colors will come out more rich looking. It is beautiful. It will look beautiful framed and on any wall or desk. I have provided the high file and you can print out to even 16×24 inches and it will be sharp and clear! Do enjoy and be blessed by Saint Shugden and may you and all your family and friends be protected always. 🙂 Everyone has my humble prayers, Tsem Rinpoche Download the picture here: https://www.tsemrinpoche.com/tsem-tulku-rinpoche/downloads/buddha-images.html
Prayer to St Shugden
St. Shugden the Archangel, defend us in our inner battle;
be our defense against the wickedness and snares of our ego
May Buddha rebuke Mara, we humbly pray;
and do you, O prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of Three Jewels,
thrust into hell Mara and the other evil spirits
who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
